Necessary evil
Apart from the manage in the restaurant the staff were to a man and woman rude, rude, rude!
From the minute you arrive you know you're being ripped off. The reception staff found me to be an inconvenience as they were busy chatting, then I showed up. The bedroom was basic, dated, with a very uncomfortable bed. I couldn't believe that after I had paid far to much for a room only rate I was charged for the privilege or parking my car in the car park. Next time when I have an early morning flight I'll go elsewhere.

The shower
Our room was dirty, there was folding furniture and lamps that didn't even work. The bed didn't have 2 pillows and there were stains in the bed. The furniture and mirrors were broken and scratches. There were stains on the carpet and no bag in the dirty trash can. I was pregnant and my husband and I were on our baby moon. We got in late to this hotel and just needed sleep. We did not get it. It took the staff 20 minutes to get us checked in. Then, when we realized the bed didn't have sheets, we called the desk. They said they'd send someone up. That took 20 more minutes. They sent up a man who just handed us sheets and a pillow and said we would need to make the bed bc he couldn't. We called again and were told the manager was helping a more important client, so we went down to the desk to request a different room. When we got to the desk the manager was standing there not busy and told us he just talked to us on the phone. He said there were no other rooms, but he could give us breakfast. We were leaving before breakfast for a flight and he was unsympathetic. He said we would need to make the bed and just deal with the room. He was very rude and unprofessional. We finally got to bed 2 hours after arriving and very unhappy. It was a bad ending to our beautiful trip. What a shame.
the staff was nice....the shuttle to airport was great. The mattress was comfortable.
There was only a duvet option on the bed....no sheet....I was too warm but only option was to take cover off duvet or turn on a/c . Plus, the air in the room felt stale and stuffy...not a good feeling. Service in the restaurant was good at first, then didn't see anybody as it got busy. Overall, it was not worth the price and woudn't stay there again on my next trip to Ireland.
