10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was fantastic! So nice the whole way throughout!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They provide you with killer TV, very modern bathroom, and the perfect breakfast to be out the door to the airport in a hurry.
Cons: Only thing I’d like is a top sheet. Might be an American thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Fabulous continental breakfast. First class accommodations and host!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good view from bedroom. Breakfast/snacks was very well thought out and bed was comfortable.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property- gorgeous room, decor and all the little touches were fantastic. We really appreciated all of the snacks & drinks, Netflix and toiletries. Easy to find, easy parking and super quick to get to the airport from there. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and given tips on how to get food since it was late.
Cons: Nothing. It was fabulous and I’d recommend it to anyone.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The in room snacks & breakfast chest was over the top!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely traditional Irish breakfasts. Comfortable rooms. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.
Cons: We were satisfied with our short stay here. Public transport is not near the B&B so could be a problem for some guests. It wasn't for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were there just overnight before going to the Dublin airport the next day for a flight home Attlee 2 weeks in Ireland. The hosts were very attentive to our needs, gave us detailed directions and a map for getting to the airport. I loved that we were able to order breakfast the night before so our food was ready when we arrived in the dining area.
Cons: I can’t think of a thing...everything was very nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent bed, hosts, breakfast, location.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jimmy and Mary, the breakfast, and the grounds were wonderful! The place is adorable, but you need a car to get around (which we had). I loved the stay and would stay again :)
Cons: nothing!
7.0 Good
Pros: The owners were very friendly and helpful with directions and choosing a dinner restaurant. The location couldn't have been better for proximity to the Dublin airport.
Cons: The only downfall were the beds -- they were really, really uncomfortable. They might have been fine for children but not for adults. It was our last night in Ireland and we had to get up early to catch a flight out. I don't think either one of us slept much at all. Too bad, because the place looked lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful. We only stayed for one night before an early morning flight, but in that short time, Mary and Jimmy made us feel like part of the family. They are very friendly, communicative, and helpful hosts, and I would love to stay with them again, for longer! Thanks for the breakfast items in our apartment, too!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful hosts! Great location of looking for something close to airport/Dublin but don’t mind not being in the city. Fantastic breakfast! Lots of extras in the room - fruit, tea, jams, butter, biscuits, etc. Cozy room.
Cons: Thought when booking the family suite it had two separate sleeping spaces. But all beds were in one room, so just something to be aware of.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb hosts
Cons: Nothing it’s was fantastic

Pros: Our host was very kind. The breakfast was good. The Malahide castle and gardens are close by (15 min walk) and the public train station can be reached on foot in approx. 25-30 minutes.
Cons: A bigger wardrobe would have been really nice. There could be a bit more variety for the breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and clean B&B. Large selection at breakfast in a very peaceful room looking into the garden. My son enjoyed playing and running in the large garden. Olive and Henry are very friendly and hospitable and gave excellent advice. We're very pleased we chose to stay in Malahide as opposed to Dublin as the peace and quiet was welcome after visiting the city. We also had a brilliant time at Malahide Castle which we would highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable with a great breakfast . Olive was very helpful with maps, directions etc.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: She welcomed us with coffee and tea. After a long day confined on the airplane, it was nice to run around and play soccer with our kids in the backyard. It's huge, and green and it was perfect. The place was so easy to find. We used Waze app. Bed comfy and breakfast amazing. We stayed at 5 B&B in Ireland throughout the trip and this stay was the best out of all.

San Juan B&B - Cloghran - Building
5
9.1 Excellent (307 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Situated on private mature gardens. Only 5 minutes from Dublin Airport and 20 minutes to Dublin city, the picturesque town of Malahide.odern family run B&B ideal for guests looking for the Irish experience with private parking.||Comfy ensuite rooms.
6.0 Good
Pros: Cathy is a kind and well-meaning hostess. She kindly called a cab when asked. She seemed attentive to her guests. There seems to be a bus nearby which takes about 30-40 minutes into the city-centre, depending upon the time of day. The price of the room(s) is commensurately less expensive than in the city-centre. Close to the airport.
Cons: The property needs updating and perhaps a deep-clean. There was some red mold in the shower stall, which might be acceptable in one's own home, but not in a hotel or B&B. If the window treatments in the breakfast area are not replaced, they also could use a cleaning. I was well-aware that it was going to be a haul into Dublin city-centre from this property. And while it is close to the airport, a cab or private care is necessary as I don't believe there was public transport available to the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great people. Close to Dublin. Very close to the airport.
6.3 Good
Cons: Host seemed quite concerned to collect money right away and we hadn't even brought our luggage in yet. Made us feel she didn't trust us to pay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host was very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose this property primarily because of its proximity to Dublin Airport and we were not disappointed in any respect.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Really a special place!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely friendly host who made us feel welcome and relaxed. Stunning house and close to airport which is why we picked it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cathy was super nice. Even though we were leaving before she served breakfast, she got up early and made sure we had food before we headed to the airport. Such a nice location and home. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
Cons: Nothing, it was all great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to Malahide Castle and Gardens, as well as the main town of Malahide (about 10 minutes away). Loved the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely recommend!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing comfortable beds and pillows and a nice room. Warm, helpful and friendly staff. Lovely areas to sit and relax including Jameson’s bar.
Cons: Food and drink service in Jameson Bar was very slow. Bedroom was overlooked by other rooms so curtains needed to be pulled for some privacy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was relaxing
Cons: A bit removed, not much to walk to, but if you want to just relax and look at the ocean.... beautiful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach with great views from our room
6.5 Good
Pros: This resort is situated on a spectacular property with unparalleled views. Our room was nicely appointees, very clean and quiet even though there were a couple of major events. Upon arrival the person at reception was snobby and did not even offer to have our bags brought up to the room and honestly acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. We had traveled from Killarney and were dressed very casually and it was apparent that we were very under-dressed--not a place to stay if you want to be casual and laid back. The staff, especially, Emma, at the restaurant where we sat for a drink, was courteous and very friendly. We ordered room service and to be frank the food was awful--cold and just not good. Beautiful spot but with room for improvement.

Pros: Close to Airport. Room was comfortable and clean. Food in the Bar was also good.
Cons: Some of the hallways had a funky food smell. Need to freshen up those hallways near the dining areas.
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean room. Comfortable bed. Reasonable price for Dublin but expensive compared to other hotels for this price in other locations in Ireland
Cons: Bit dated. Bar food staff weren’t overly friendly. Reception staff were nice. Bit out of the way. Breakfast was fine but cold when it came out.

Breakfast was limited continental - bread, jam, cereal, oats, milk and tea. Nice, spacious and clean bathroom.
Cons: We were a party of 7 and felt the room was a bit crammed with 6 beds, a bunk bed and just one bathroom (one could imagine a busy morning). We had a room with two beds that were more than adequate for our needs. I think this is a good value hotel and it is convenient to the airport without being too close.
Cons: The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the entrance to the hotel. There is no good way to turn your car around to head back to the parking lot. After you get back in your car you are pointing to the back of the hotel and it is very poorly designed as there is no good way to head towards to parking lot.
