Opt for a Room with Private Bathroom
Some guests mentioned that the shared bathroom and toilet were not a problem due to the limited number of residents, but for added convenience, consider booking a room with a private bathroom.
Consider Bringing a Sleeping Mask
As the curtains in the rooms may not provide complete darkness, bringing a sleeping mask could be helpful for those sensitive to light.
Check Room Size Before Booking
Several guests found the rooms to be very small, so it's advisable to check the room size and consider this aspect before making a reservation, especially for longer stays or if you prefer more spacious accommodations.
Note Limited English Spoken
The owners may have limited English proficiency, so it could be helpful to have a translation app or basic German phrases handy for smoother communication during check-in and throughout the stay.
Be Mindful of Seasonal Temperature
Some guests found the rooms to get stuffy quickly, especially in colder weather when opening windows may not be an option. Consider this when planning a visit during different seasons.
Bring Toiletries
A few guests noted the absence of toiletries such as toilet paper in the shared toilet. It might be useful to bring along essential toiletries to ensure a comfortable stay.
Consider Transportation Options
The hotel is well-served by public transport, making it convenient for getting around. Consider using the nearby tram station for easy access to the city center and other attractions.
Check for Bed Bug Issues
A guest reported encountering bed bugs, so it's advisable to check the room thoroughly upon arrival to ensure a comfortable and pest-free stay.
Note Limited Amenities
Some guests mentioned the limited amenities and absence of a kitchen. If you require specific facilities, it's best to check the available amenities beforehand.
Bring a Portable Fan
As there is no air conditioning or fan in the rooms, bringing a portable fan could be beneficial, especially during warmer months.
