The 3 star Tirena Hotel's aromatic pine, olive and cypress tree gardens make it an ideal couple’s retreat while still close enough to the effervescent Old Town to ensure you don’t miss a beat. The stylishly decorated rooms exude a relaxed Mediterranean feel. Spend your time soaking up the sun and enjoying the sports activities on Dubrovnik’s longest beach, exploring the delights of the show cooking restaurant or simply unwind at one of the wellness facilities nearby.
Friendly staff and clean rooms, bus to downtown really close to hotel, outstanding breakfast ! Totally worth to stay and great value for the money (free WiFi) :) Dubrovnik city is amazing !!!
too far away from the city - a long bus ride if one even exists
Great staff, location good although a 10 min bus ride to the old town. we walked it in an hour. fantastic swimming pool.
This is not a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3 (but it seems that all Croatian Hotels have inflated their stars by at least 1, based on 5 hotel stays). Our family room for 4 was actually 2 connected hotel rooms (changes perception of price) and we were ground floor with a view of the car park. This was a special holiday for the family and we moved after a night. The staff were helpful with this.
The only good thing about the hotel is the pool and that it is on the bus route to the old city.
In the morning the cleaners kept letting the doors slam which made it very hard to sleep. bar and restaurant closed early. vERY much a hotel for older couples and familys.
easy to get to dubrovnik as regular, cheap, pleasant bus. hotel ok but nothing special. breakfast good - pleasant buffet.
very loud music outside our bedroom till 12.40pm, both nights. told as it was not their facility, they couldn't stop it. unapologetic.
The sea was close by and the pool was lovely. The staff were always friendly and well informed about what was going on in the area.
All meals were buffet style and there was no room service. There was also no facilities to get even a snack upon arrival at night as it was outside of restaurant times.
Staff were not that friendly. No atmosphere in the hotel. Expensive for what you get
Environement - a bit away from the hectic, i.e. not being in middle of town.
A bit noisy. Especially when people go to their rooms - voices carry very well. The closing of the room door when you pull the handle is very loud.
Extremely friendly staff very accomodating.
Location and lots of options for things to see, activities, and places to eat and drink.
