good location just off the A68. plenty of parking at the front of the hotel. friendly / helpful staff. breakfast was good.
the TV screen in the bedroom was massive - far too big for the room!! food is basic bar meals - our choices were too stodgy to finish.
Friendly staff who couldn't do enough. Doggy treats in our room, which pleased our canine companion. The food was superb, very reasonably priced and which we enjoyed by the open fire. Got chatting to the locals who were very welcoming. Earlston is a charming little town, and the Red Lion is delightful Hotel/pub.
The ambience of the place. The area. And the lovely breakfast.
They did offer to upgrade our room as they thought it was going to be fully booked, but just stayed PUT Skirting boards a bit dusty. Couple of coffee sachets. were black had to throw away. But overall the staff were very pleasant. And great value. Would stay again. The
The food and staff were great.
The room was very cold. The bed was wet.
Welcoming, comfortable and clean room with lots of space for us and our dog. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub itself was cosy with a good atmosphere. The food (breakfast and dinner) was of a high standard and the service was excellent. We would definitely return.
