Bathroom door didn’t lock fully
This was our 3rd staying in the hotel.. This time we booked 3 rooms ranging from suits to classic Location: was the main reason I booked this hotel Close to everything. Staff: starting with the ever so friendly and professional door men; Mr Eugenio, Mr Hassan, & Mr Rafael- very helpful & in spite of the heat had a genuin smile through out the day. That goes for the lovely ladies and gentlemen in the reception as well- tolerating obnoxious guests.. Note to guests : please carry your own hand bags- you look tacky walking with a person trailing behind you with YOUR own hand bag! Breakfast: decent selection and very attentive staff.
A 5 star hotel with a rather pricy rate, the rooms could do with a little bit of an uplift decor wise. Also if a guests has a birthday or a special occasion like we had (my mothers birthday) it would have been nice to have a complimentary bouquet of some sorts.. we bought one but having mentioned in advance that it was a celebration it would have been a thoughtful touch :)
Perfect location. Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff.
The housekeeping team was super attendant and helpful. The location is great and very central.
The concierge could put a little more effort to assist with reservations.
When you look at the Renaissance, there are few places that can match the amount of art and architecture that came out of Florence. This Tuscan city is at the heart not just of Italian culture, but of Western civilization. If you’re looking to the place where Dante conceived of the Divine Comedy or Da Vinci conceived of inventions centuries before they were actually created, then Florence is your city. As a bonus, the Tuscan dialect is the national language of Italy. Staying at the Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy ensures you get all that this cultural capital has to offer.
One of the great sights in Florence is the Duomo, and when you stay at the Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy, there’s a good chance your room will have a great view of the Duomo. Located on the Piazza Repubblica, you can easily walk to the Duomo or see all the great art at the Uffizi. The best part is seeing the attractions and all that Florence has to offer is literally at your doorstep. The luxury accommodations showcase the best of Tuscan hospitality.
Tuscan dining is something everyone should experience. The hotels restaurants and bar – the Irene and the Irene Bar – serve up the best in Tuscan cuisine and wine. Tuscan wine is considered some of the best in the world and having it fresh from the vineyards is something that can be replicated anywhere else. The small Tuscan restaurants and street food is also a great experience for travelers, as this is authentic food and drink as well.
Enjoy a trip to Florence by staying in one of its premier hotels, the Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy.
