- excellent breakfast, huge garden, ample parking
The area and ability to visit the Temples at Paestum and Pompei
Exceptionally good brekfast, new rest manager at Tre Olive with ambitions. Have stayed at this hotel for six times during holiday and actually some other couples that we have met year after year. I am travelling around 200 nights per year and the renewal of the breakfast now exceeds Intercontintental and Swiss Hotel in Berlin. The hotel owner has a farm up in the mountains, the have fresh milk, fruits, spremuta, good mozarella (real fresh from buffels) proscioutto crudo, cotto, good bread ( for being in Italy) ,nice enviroments and clean rooms, acess to beach ( sunchairs and umbrella is included at the beach club, and easy to park. My favourite in southern Italy. Best time to travel is from may to early july and from mid september Air condition was poor in the room, after five days we just demanded to change room. Sometimes anoying with a lot of weddings not by noice but if you are laying by poolside a lot of fine dressed wedding particpants are running around you.
The hotel was a very nice facility. It was close to a nice beach and to the ruins in Paestum. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good too. The air conditioning was controlled centrally by the hotel. It would run until about midnight and then be cut off. In a couple of hours the room was hot and stuffy and uncomfortable. The desk staff wasn't able to program the key cards properly so they didn't work. After multiple trips to the desk, they said the key cards didn't work and that we should just use the metal key. We had requested adjoining rooms OR adjacent rooms in advance as we were travelling with young children. They put us on opposite wings of the hotel and said nothing else was available.
All was just perfect. We traveled in taly for almost 3weeks and stayed in 6 diferent 4star hotels and all other was so far not such good expierence as Savvoy. Great restaurant with great meal and excelent services. Big swiming pool, nice gardens. Very clean own beach just 200metres away from hotel. We stayed in Junior suite with very nice interior and huge terrace. Hotel has wedding each day. Internet costs 12EUR -24H and it is not free as shown in booking.com. Restaurant is quit expensive, but worth each spend EUR.
good breakfast, nice swimming pool without car far from restaurants, bars, etc; all week long weddings
Classed as 4 *L the Savoy Beach was very impressive with a superb location. It only had 42 bedrooms but the facilities it had were those of a far larger hotel. It had a superb covered terrace of terracotta tiles overlooking the mountains behind the hotel and the grounds were beautifully maintained. N/A
Everything! This was a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff and wonderful facilities and wonderful breakfast. Excellent!
Excellent facilities, pool and beach.
Proximity to beach and Lido use. Incredible pool and garden. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great 4 day break here. I used a good internet connection to do some work each day. Quiet spot. Area restaurants are over-priced for medium quality,
Clean and quiet room. Friendly staff. Centrally controlled airconditioning which was turned off at night.
the staff amability
The hotel was very comfortable, the restaurant was good and it was 2 minutes from the beach. The staff went out of their way to help us, suggesting dining options, assisting with accommodation and car bookings and sightseeing options. There were free bikes to use to visit the nearby ruins, and music was provided to encourage impromtu dancing! Wireless internet was problematic in the rooms and could only be accessed near the reception desk, but was free.
We love this hotel because of its wonderful atmosphere. The people managing the hotel are extremely nice and helpful and we always have a lot of fun. The hotel is perfectly situated for everything: culture, beach, nature,... and not to forget the delicious meals in the hotel restaurant. Mille grazie, Nino! :-) We'll definitely come back again - and again - and again... :-)
The staff were extremely helpful and very accomodating. They provided good direction and assistance. The breakfast was great. We really liked the hotel and the staff and would return there.
free bicycles made the trip to the Greek site an adventure. closeness to the beach. Although the staff spoke little English when we had a problem with our car they found someone with excellent English to help us explain our problem and then took us to a garage where the problem was sorted. The room was very dark in the daytime even with all the lights on. Various potential finds for loosing key, or bringing sand into the hotel were a little disconcerting.
It's a very short walk to the beach from the hotel. The room and facilities are excellent, including bike rental and shuttle to the train station. Highly recommended.
Very nice, friendly and professional staff. Quite good berakfest. Close to the beach. Bicycles for customers. Nothing
Modern very comfortable hotel. Good bed. Excellent shower. Excellent free breakfast. Quiet enviroment. Close to the beach and Paestum archeological site. More a business hotel than a holiday hotel. Wireless Internet not working. Not much to do in neighbourhood.
The room was excellent. The double walk in shower in the bathroom was fantastic. The gardens and grounds, and mountain views were spectacular. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good indeed.
swiming pool not attractive breakfast
Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean and food lovely
Very friendly staff, good facilities and handy for Paestum No - infact I find the Best Western are invariable good value good standard.
The hotel is professional in style and manner. Staff is very attentive and helpful with our arrangements. They are user-friendly for those of us with limited Italian. The restaurant's food is delicious and well-presented. We liked the local buffalo mozzarella and proscuitto very much. We enjoyed the local wines on the Wine List as well. Restaurant menu choices were limited, though that is understandable because of the number of guests.
Green minded; saving electricity by using key card to activate power in room. Modern and stylish.
the room; the meal, the beach, the staff no
The location was excellent
Very convenient to Paestum. Not too hard to find. Good restaurant. Internet available in room Air conditioning was not working in our room, even though the desk clerk assured us that it was.
The hotel was lovely and the family was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was right on the beach. We messed up the dates of our reservation but they were able to find us a room and took care of us quickly. We had a large room that overlooked the beach and it was very quiet and peaceful. The air conditioner did not work well and the room was hot.
We got lost. The owner drove out to our location and we followed him back to the hotel.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, but the best is the resturant and the food all home cooked and not expensive, we would stay there again. The staff speak very little english.
Doesn´t have personal qualified for the service. Breakfast is poor. Doesn´t have personal qualified for the service. Breakfast is poor.
The staff and the quiet Very hard to get to because of the road structure
Beautiful property and grounds, spacious room, quiet and peaceful. Very gracious host (Giovanni) and we were able to communicate fine with basic Italian. Continental breakfast totally fine. Gorgeous dining room, could see having a family event or party here. Lovely view of the sun rising over the mountains and their crop of peach trees. I'm originally from California and this reminds me of Napa wine country. Proximity to the Paestum train station and archaeological zone 20-25 minute walk but took longer because we kept stopping to take photos of the beautiful countryside! Very small watchout... start the shower water running a few minutes beforehand to get the hot water going. Not really a problem once you knew. Location is an easy turn off the highway... just need a better map and directions on the website. If coming by train, it would be helpful to know if you must arrange a taxi or other pickup from the train station. Other than that, the reason it is quiet is because it is not in a congested touristy area, which is a good thing!
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us free bikes to cycle around, also helped with the train tickets. Breakfast good. The bathroom was a bit small+ the hotel was quite far and difficult to reach if you dont have your own transport.
Restaurant service was not available as it was early season
Extremely friendly owner, he was very helpful. The "manager from Naples" was also very friendly and helpful. The dinner was great, real organic Italian food. We had a really nice room with a big terrace. We truly enjoyed our stay! Small showercabin.
We had a great stay! The staff accommodated us with our meals (we are vegetarians). The stay at the Hotel Paistos was a highlight of our trip.
The only staff, Simona, was excellent, very accommodating. The studio option room was not acceptable (bed impossible, musty, on busy street) - online description misleading. Fortunately there were plenty of hotel rooms available and we switched to one of these.
A small friendly family-run hotel that is well situated
My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay, everything was great especially mario the chef, he prepared some great food, really delicous. Apart from him eveybody made our stay great, form the lovley waitress , receptionist to the owner. great stay. we'll be back
Really friendly staff. As often in Italy, no tea/coffee facilities in room. Vital for us Brits !
Very friendly and helpful owner / staff. Great location.
