Fort Lauderdale Motels

Nothing that we liked, my wife wanted to leave immediately and couldn't wait to leave, we travel the world, but this hotel is no three star, may be less than one.

The hotel was located across the street from the beach which was easily accessible. Many restaurants and clubs were nearby. Staff was helpful when we were in need of cab service. The bathroom, although small, had been recently renovated. The hotel is in need of updating. Many things were outdated. We felt the room was overpriced, although we were there during high season.

Nothing. I could not wait to check out. Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. the room I was transferred to had the A.C. off. I had the front desk figure out the connection. the room did not cool off until after 3 A.M.

It is a "nothing special hotel", next to a very busy road. Luckily my room was not noisy. Maybe the breakfast is a little boring after a few days. Also the wireless had problems in my room.

I didn't like anything about the place. It's old smell and I found bugs on the sink. The manager offered another room and told me, guest bring the bugs in REALLY! Awful place

Customer service was horrible. I damaged by vehicle on the building because there were no signs warning me of a sharp turn. When I asked for help the staff was rude. When I asked for assistance from the manager over the phone he made excuses for his staff and refused to help with expenses to fix my vehicle.

The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The hotel was in a prime location and we could use two beaches. One was within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance and the 'Fort Lauderdale Beach' was 5 - 10 minutes on the bus. There were a great choice of restaurants in the area too.

Cheap, not too far from FL Room smelled of smoke, even though was non-smoking. Could do with a refurb. Had no problems but didn't feel 100% safe. Would personally look elsewhere next time.

The price was good, the staff was very nice, and I also liked that their vending machines rook credit cards. The sheets were very scratchy and the towels were worse. I only had about 1/8 of a toilet paper roll and no extra one.

Slept night before early air travel I requested non-smoking...I Am very allergic to smells..and the room flat out stunk...of cigarette smoke...and stale smells...horrible......i was disappointed in booking because I requested non-smoking, and hotel staff told me that the reason I was not given priorty was that I booked through you...will not do that again

The only good thing about this place was their pricing. - Stained sheets in bed. - Not soundproof at all. - Very loud neighbours. - Unfriendly neighbourhood. In general this place felt like the cheapest motel on the street.

(1) I did not like having to pay for internet access when other hotels/motel have internet access free (2) I did not like not having an iron and iron board in my room.

Closer to the beach The air conditioner was blowing out very good , the floors was sweet good enough , no tub plug , ran out of towels during my stay

The hotel was run down and not clean holes in the wall bathroom door didn't close it was completely awful. Hotel has potential but renovation is greatly needed!!!!!

Staff was friendly and it has a pool and close to the beach and restaurants Easy check out and the price was best in town I found. Parking was easy and convenience Has wifi The room I had was old and didn't feel very comfortable Washroom was somewhat dirty and feels disgusting Still using the old big TV Has wifi but no password given unless you call front desk Overall feels uncomfortable and couldn't sleep or shower in it yet I got to say they cleaned it pretty well. It just feels too old and uncomfortable

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Terrible condition. Holes in the walls,broken tiles in the ceiling and shower. Very dirty. If it wasn't just for one night I would have left and gone to another hotel.

An old style Americana type motel in the middle of modernity. Somewhat quirky and probably won't appeal to many people who expect steel/glass/granite of new hotels. Only a few minutes from the beach of Fort Lauderdale.

Location. Pool. WiFi. Kitchen. Dirty. Needs updating all over.

It was clean. They tried to keep the hookers and drug dealers on the first and second floor and everyone else on the third. Very seedy. I was staying with my adult daughter and I didn't feel safe for her or myself at all. Even though the prostitutes and dealers seemed to have been assigned rooms on the lower floors they would roam the breezeways of the third. The elevator's safety inspection certificate expired in 2008 and I could tell was self-maintained due to the button on the third floor said 2 and was turned sideways. The TV was a twenty inch CRT model that only received a religious station probably due to on air broadcasters ceasing analog transmissions in 2009. I honestly believe that this could potentially dangerous place to stay and would not under any circumstances stay with young children.

The fridge only. I should go with bed bug and mosquito repellent It's a place for junky. Nothing is good about that place. I won't stay there anymore even for free

The location to the beach. The T.V. did not work, the telephone did not work, and the light in the bathroom did not work either!

Our room was large but I did not care but I did not care for the way it was designed. The kitchenette had a sink that served as the sink for the entire room - no bathroom sink. It was clean, but I would probably choose another place in the future.

The first impression was very negative: odd crowd, some people were loitering around, overall made me feel quite uncomfortable. The room was simple but clean. The door lock was not working very well, the cleaning stuff would just refuse to leave shampoo (had to ask the front desk). The bed and pillow quality was pretty poor. The free breakfast is a joke, it is just coffee and a sweet snack. I wouldn't call it a breakfast. The area around looked nice but still in the process of gentrification. The staff was VERY nice though. I didn't book the hotel to enjoy the amenities since we spent most of the time at the beach and hiking/kayaking. But we spent $500 dollars for 4 nights, to be honest I expected the place and area to be nicer.
