Pros: I absolutely loved the owners of this property! They were two lovely, welcoming and helpful hosts! The B&B itself was modern, cosy and extremely clean. The food exceeded my expectations. We booked in for breakfast and dinner both nights of our stay because the food was that nice! Overall, my experience here was fantastic - I would return.
Cons: The B&B is in a quiet and calm area within the macgillycuddy reeks, which is exactly what we wanted for a hiking weekend away however there was no pubs or shops within walking distance.

Pros: The breakfast, the staff were very nice. Would reccomend getting dinner or at least something in their cafe (homemade icecream is amazing!). Great routines to Carantoothil straight from the bnb.

Pros: The place is full of surprises - like a foot spa machine in the room or the fact that you can climb Carrauntoohil right from there (the owners gave us detailed directions that allowed us to get to the top safely). The owners, Sandy and John, are very experienced hosts but still treat each guest like a VIP. The breakfast was beautifully set up with fresh fruit and crispy toasts and the evening meal absolutely gourmet with the reachest tomato-basil soup, butter cooked seabass and hand made ice cream. A miraculous place!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed and good location with nice breakfast and friendly owner
Cons: Bit of road noise and not too many things like coat hooks on doors and tissues for you to Use etc
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I spent a night at Liosderrig's and we absolutely loved the experience. The surroundings were beautiful, Maureen was welcoming, the B&B itself was clean with fresh flowers on the tables, and our room was small but nice. Also, breakfast was great! On the night of our arrival, Maureen asked us what kind of breakfast we would like and when we wanted to have it. The following morning she made us the most wonderful breakfast consisting of juice, freshly brewed coffee with milk, yoghourt with various types of fruit and berries, scrambled eggs, bacon, homemade sodabread, roasted toast and butter. Thank you for a lovely stay, Maureen. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Cons: The coffee had a kick to it, but with a little extra milk we were all good. Also, the rooms are not very big which is perfectly fine if you are only staying for a few days, however, if you are staying there for a full week, you may feel a little cramped in the end. But really, we just loved our stay at Liosderrig House B&B and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for lodgings near the Ring of Kerry!

Pros: Excellent Irish breakfast in the morning. Maureen is a fantastic host and makes you feel home from the first second on. The B&B is so good that even the swallows at the windowsill return every year. The Pub is right across the street in case one fancies a beer and a bite at night after hiking the beautiful area. Excellent location, host and facilities.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We received a lovely welcome from Maureen and the breakfast was delicious. I was offered a fruit salad and yogurt as I didn't want a big fry. The location of the B&B is ideal as it is in the centre of the village and 30 seconds from restaurants, pubs etc
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. Location perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything! Thanks - Rudolf and his best friends from Czechia
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Maureen was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, near enough to the pubs and restaurants and far enough away not to be noise disturbed. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Cons: The bedroom was very small and just about contained the beds; this is okay if you are only going to use it for sleeping but if you wanted to spend anytime in the room it felt tight. The breakfast was nice bar the skimpy sausages. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hostess, Maureen, did everything possible to ensure stay was comfortable. I enjoyed her lovely open personality, her recommendations about places to visit and to dine and the attractive decorations in her home.

Pros: As I travelled from north west it was great to have a comfortable place to lie my head after such a long journey, it was exceptionally clean.
Cons: N/A
6.8 Good
Pros: Delia, the hostess was friendly, warm and caring. She is the best asset of this B&B. The location was nice, the house had a beautiful garden.
Cons: The rooms completely lacked comfort. There was no place to hang clothes or any counter top to put your make up or personal items. I have to put the coffee tray on the floor to have a counter top. Same goes with the bathroom. There were no hooks or a place to hang towels. The sheets quality was less than desired. The breakfast had very little choice- it would have been nice to have hot/warm croissants and brown bread toast. She had two parties of 4 people each but only had set up one table for 4 for breakfast and was telling guests that whoever came first could have it. That left an uncomfortable encounter in the morning, which the guests should not be subjected to. The room had plenty of room. She could have easily arranged two tables for four people each.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine, beautiful, clean room with sea views, good breakfast and a wonderful garden by the house.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Irish breakfast. Comfy beds.

Pros: It was very clean!! The owner were very friendly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and decorated very cute! The bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Even with the odd handling of the payment situation I would definitely stay again.
Cons: I was a little thrown off that when I showed up the hostess didn't mention anything about the payment. She showed us to our room and then left. I ended up having to ask her about it the next morning once we were about to leave. She then proceeded to tell me it was cash only, thankfully I had enough cash on me. It was just an odd exchange.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome from lovely hosts, good breakfast and enjoyable conversation
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Shamrock House was exceptionally clean, comfortable and homey. It was probably the most comfortable bed we had in Ireland. Mary was very considerate; she brought us tea when we arrived and she even turned on the blanket so we had a nice warm bed after a cool, rainy day out! She was available with suggestions but we never felt crowded. The B&B is not close to town if you need nightlife or a late dinner but it is located very well for the beach and sightseeing. Highly recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host Mary was very friendly and helpful. Great sitting room for guests. Couple minutes from a nice pub (good food and drinks). Site has a good view over sheep field of the ocean. Close to Dingle and the Ring of Kerry.
Cons: Room was crowded, would of rather had a couple chairs instead of the extra bed.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Great location and food
Cons: Only issue was no hangers in the wardrobe or iron in the room. Also bar very busy but staff were spread thin. Bar staff should be bar staff not serving food when number of people queueing for a while to get served . Also have menus on tables for breakfast girl was just asking what did we want we didn't see menus any where.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff weretention friendly and helpful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Location and the staff
5.0 Okay
Pros: Pretty location
Cons: Poor bathroom with really noisy cistern which kept us awake at night. Ours was supposed to be a luxury room for which we paid €165 a night : not worth the money at all for what was definitely not a high end room. No latch on the bathroom door so it just swung all the time, Such a mediocre breakfast too- juice was full Irish or pancakes or porridge : poor choices. Not impressed and won't be back and definitely wouldn't recommend staying there at those inflated prices.

Cons: There isn’t a lift, only stairs and the bathroom only has a shower and not bath. However that didn’t affect our stay as we were only here for one night. We improvised and washed the baby in the sink!

Caitin's - Glenbeigh - Building
11
8.4 Excellent (202 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Overlooking Dingle Bay, midway between Glenbeigh and Cahirciveen, Caitin's is a traditional old-style pub with guest accommodation. Access to the Kerry Way walking route runs alongside Caitin's. Caitin's has been run by the Golden family for over 100 years. It provides very high-quality accommodation, and friendly, helpful staff. Within 2 km there is a post office, grocery shop, petrol station and a safe blue-flag beach for swimming.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Good location, nice bar and great live music on Friday night!
Cons: Continental breakfast was only toast and not very fresh fruit.. flies and spiders in rooms. Rooms are not being cleaned, shower is not working, you can end up in the shower for 30 minutes when water suddenly stops and than starts again. No tv, no kettle in the rooms. Doors were not stay closed you had to lock it on the key even if you are inside. Constant traffic with coach buses going to look at the sheep and you could be woken up in the morning to move your car for a coach bus and pushed to park across the road. You don’t feel like you are welcome at all.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Nice place. However it would have been grest if we could have 2 adjoining rooms
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were great. Lots of helpful info about the area. Beautiful view. Right on path of the Ring of Kerry. Pub was very nice (pool/darts). Right in front of the Sheep herding demonstration which was very interesting
Cons: Not a big deal as town was only 10 mins away but dinner is only served on weekends
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was kindly provided in our 2 bed apartment which was very convenient. We went down to the bar on both nights that we stayed and chatted with other visitors, very enjoyable.
Cons: Weather but that is hardly their fault! My wife would have liked hairdryer to be supplied.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, beautiful views, comfortable and clean.
Cons: You could hear people in the pub but they weren't open late.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, great views, friendly staff.
Cons: Traffic noise with windows open but room and views more than made up for it.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast is basic but good. There's an Irish breakfast restaurant down the street for a full Irish Breakfast. Great Bar and sitting area. The updated rooms are great & beds were comfy. Beautiful sea views and right on the ring of Kerry.
Cons: Hot breakfast would be a great improvement; outdated rooms need some TLC with updated beds (they were rock hard); Hot water wasn't on and we had to ask owner to turn it on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Caitin’s is in the perfect location on the Ring of Kerry, we stayed here for two nights on a motorcycle trip. It is in a quiet location with excellent views but not too far from shops and fuel etc (7 miles). The room was excellent and bed very comfortable. The staff were great and very friendly and helpful. It is a very relaxed property like a home from home which I like. It has great kitchen facilities and breakfast is a case of help yourself which again I like as it is more relaxed compared to the mainstream hotel feel and is well provided for. Perfect base for exploring the south west or just a great place to relax.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view in the photos does not do this justice. Breathtaking!
6.3 Good

Pros: The location in Glenbeigh was perfect. Close to everything in the village. The staff was super friendly and made the stay even better with their cheerful personalities. My boys (12 and 11) enjoyed their stay.
Cons: Not much to complain about... Super nice staff.. just a word of advice, make sure you bring some of your own towels and all of your own toiletries such as shampoo and soap. You might want to bring your own favorite pillow if you are spoiled with a super awesome one at home like I am. Haha. Make sure to bring your phone charger! Haha.. The sleepy camel is a great place and a great value.

Pros: Fantastic location, 2minute drive to Rossbeigh Strand, staff are fantastic - friendly and very accommodating. Stayed with my son who is a fussy eater so the kitchen got great use, no need to worry about finding somewhere to eat. Definitely recommend the Sleepy Camel to anyone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Place was clean and spacious. Chris was a great host, very helpful and pointed us out some of the local attractions
Cons: A warm evening so windows were open which allowed road noise in
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location as there are mainly only pricy hotels in the area so a hostel is a great addition. I only go to hostels as its a chance to meet like minded travelers. It didn't have the feel of usual hostels with lots of young people from all over the world cooking and hanging out, so not sure how that would change. As it had been a Nursing home perhaps it needs a more chilled look to it to attract young travelers. But saying that it was a well priced and clean facilities. Would definitely go back next time I'm in Kerry.

Pros: The host was really friendly (although he was sick!) the kitchen was great and the lounge and eating area was really big. The room was nice and clean, and the bathroom too. We asked to use an adaptor we forget at home and it was no problem!
Cons: The street noise was not that much that we expected. So that was great! We had a room at the garden side.
