Kagetsuen is ideal to visit during the high season in March, offering a great time to enjoy the private onsen and the amazing staff. The location is not far from Togendai, making it convenient for sightseeing.

The rooms at Kagetsuen are spacious and comfortable, with the option to wear a yukata after enjoying the onsen. However, some guests mentioned that the air conditioning/heating took a while to regulate, causing stuffiness at night.
