Mitsis Laguna Resort and Spa is a wonderful, high-quality hotel in Crete and considered to have some of the highest standards on the island. Facing a Blue Flag beach and with many restaurants, bars and pools, the hotel is a luxury retreat on this stunning Greek island. Gold is the signature colour throughout the resort, intended to reflect the highest standard of welcome and accommodation. The main restaurant offers Mediterranian and international dining in a buffet style on an outdoor terrace. Cretan a la Carte Tavern offers traditional Greek dishes using lots of locally produced ingredients. The Italian a la Carte restaurant offers traditional Italian pizza and pasta meals as well as salads and breads. The Pan-Asian a La Carte restaurant opens for dinner only and offers a diverse range of Asian foods. The Tex Mex a la Carte is a fun experience with Mexican US fusion food, while the Fish a la Carte restaurant is, of course, a wonderful seafood experience. The bars include a night bar, a theatre bar, a champagne and sushi bar and a pool bar.

The hotel offers a free shuttle bus from Heraklion Airport (HER) to the hotel on request. Alternatively, you can take a taxi. The resort is a 14-mile drive away, which takes around 25min. A one-way fare will cost about €30 (£25).
