Outstanding hotel. Updated, clean, modern, lovely overall. Valet or self park. Amazing room keys that are pretty brilliant. Pool was immaculate and staff were constantly cleaning. The room was modern and clean. The best part was location and amenities. Walking distance from outstanding restaurants and shopping. The Jupiter Grill was the best swordfish I’ve ever had and I’m from Florida. John Craig clothier was amazing.
I decided to make a weekend out of a friends birthday trip to Jupiter and I was pleasantly surprised with Wyndham Grand! The hotel is in a shopping are (although there’s not too much there) and on the water with beautiful views. It’s a 5 minute ride to love street and the beach. The room was spacious with a wrap around balcony. There was water bottles replaced daily, a small mini fridge, iron, a safe, and ice/vending on same floor. The bed was comfortable and the room had many windows. There is a bar on the rooftop with the pool and hot tub as well as one in the lobby. The location is just steps away from plenty dining options. The staff was friendly and welcoming and accommodated my request for later check out. The few gripes I have were — free parking on street but valet ($32/day) or the garage ($16/day) at hotel. On Sunday, the parking garage gates were open so I thought they didn’t charge but then I saw it in my check out bill. The plaza and hotel were pretty empty so I think the parking can be a downside to people especially when there’s street parking (don’t know limitations) but I didn’t mind as I’m used to paying for parking anywhere. Secondly, the hairdryer began smoking and nearly caught on fire. I had to ask the cleaning lady for a new one. Other than those two things, I had a comfortable, relaxing stay and would highly recommend!

Cons. It took me getting angry with hotel management to get basic necessities replenished including soap, shampoo, tea, and towels. My husband actually had to dry off with a hand towel at one point. And in an attempt to rectify the situation managemebt delivered a martini tray, including a full-sized bottle of vodka, at 9:30pm on the Sunday night before our checkout. As I'm not a raging alcoholic and was originally requesting things like camomile tea, this gesture struck me as odd and misplaced. There were other little things which occurred throughout our stay, and individually these things would have been negligible. It was the combination, however, which made for an overall negative & frankly unpleasant experience. At a $300 price point, providing the basics is an absolute necessity, but going above and beyond the basics is an expectation. I very rightfully held this hotel to a standard higher than the average budget motel and not only did they not deliver, they fell far below.

Cons. The airconditioner had some issue it was very loud all night. It was very hard to sleep as the air would roar every 30 seconds there was obviously some mechanical issue as an interior architect I know this is not normal. We woke up every hour thoughtout the night making our stay a horrible experience. Beside this it was a great stay.
