Atrium and facilities are beautiful.
Parking cost and “resort fee” was insane especially because we didn’t use the pool, water park, dry cleaning, or much of anything. You should be able to opt in to the additional amenities. Parking wa lbs outrageous - what is worse is that my dad came to visit for 3 hours. Parking cost $26. Really. So now we have paid $125 for parking in 4 days. That was the cost of my rental car and parking in EUROPE for 5 days. Hotel was mediocre in general. Main areas are nice but it ends there. Beds were STIFF. Decor was dated.
The place was comfortable and great location. Cheap quick Ubers to Disney.
I feel like the rooms could be a little updated to match how updated the exterior feels.
We had a beautiful weekend at this location. The spa was amazing and all of the restaurants were outstanding .
I like the atrium but even though there were dozens of atrium rooms available, the $270 I paid for the night just wasn’t enough for them to comp me a balcony for my daughter, so I got a “Florida view” which is a fancy way of saying “view of the parking lot”. And I think hotels that advertise a price and then nickel and dime you for “resort fee’s” of things I don’t even want, and “parking fees” are just upsetting customers. It never used to be that way when people were honest and upfront. It’s not like the resort fee is an option, so no one ever actually gets your advertised price. And asking someone to pay $30 to park their car at your hotel that you are charging them already to stay at is also upsetting. Role all your fees into the price of the hotel. What if a restaurant did that to you? The steak is $25 but it’s extra to cook it and bring it to you (and by the way, you have no other option of how to get it) and did you drive a car here? It’s $10 to park! We charge for the bottles of water that’s at your table too, also the WiFi and the fitness center (weather you want it or not). My phone has unlimited data, I wasn’t there to work out, and didn’t drink your 2 bottles of water. Again, not optional. It’s just Ridiculous!
