This was our second visit and the addition of the cooking and kitchen facilities on the back veranda added a truly worthwhile feature where you are able to do some cooking for yourself.
Everything has been thought of and put into the accommodation - every creature comfort of home was there. If you arrived with the clothes on your back and nothing else, your stay would be very comfortable. The peacefulness of the property was magical.
Such a beautiful place to stay. John and Marian were lovely people to meet and were very hospitable.
Amazing stay in the country! The Dollhouse exceeded our expectations. We spent 2 very comfortable nights, and could have stayed longer. It felt like our own country cottage! The outdoor kitchen was awesome. The place was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. The hosts, Marian and John were super friendly and respected our privacy. Would definitely return!
I wouldn’t change anything!
Quiet and peaceful surrounding, excellent

Located just 11 km of sealed road from Kyogle, this comfortable little cottage set on a seven acre hobby farm includes private verandas, bathroom, sitting and dining areas. There is a gas BBQ, gas cooktop and cookware in the outdoor kitchen, the additional kitchenette has the basics for you including a coffee plunger, kettle and microwave. Home baked biscuits, a selection of teas, coffee and supplies for a cooked and light breakfast are provided in the room. Free WIFI is available. As the only guest accommodation on the property you can unwind and enjoy the peace and privacy of this tastefully furnished cottage nestled in the heart of prime farmland. Enjoy views of rolling hills, distant mountains and abundant bird life. Or take a stroll along our spring fed creek. Kyogle is well worth a visit as it has maintained the character of its main street and hidden behind the beautiful façades is a plethora of shops, including an IGA supermarket, local butcher, café’s, an art gallery, local cinema, coffee shops and hotels all of which offer the visitor a uniquely Australian rural experience. Called the Gateway to the Rainforests, Kyogle is by the meandering Richmond River at the base of Fairy Mountain in the Lismore Region. From here you can explore nearby World Heritage-listed national parks, spectacular lookouts, picnic areas and scenic drives to beautiful villages. Byron Bay is 102 km from the property, The Gold Coast 132 km, and Brisbane just 175 km.
