Lindos Portes Suites - Adults Only

“The room is stunning - we absolutely loved the decor and had such a wonderful evening with Lindos town so close we were able to walk to the local beaches, bars, restaurants and back again no trouble at all.”

“Due to the current crisis we stayed at Del Mar Suites instead of Lindos Portes Suites (different reasons for this change). This accommodation belongs to the same group so I think you could expect the same quality (only is Del Mar Suites a bit more luxurious than Lindos Portes Suites). We had a very big suite with a lounge area (with frigde, coffee machine etc.) & toilet (bathroom) downstairs. Upstairs we had our room and a separate big bathroom (with rain shower). Everything is very clean and you feel very welcome when entering your ‘room’, surprised by a nice gift of the group. The location is great, you just need to walk down the hill and you arrive in the center of Lindos (near to bus stop, city center and the Saint Paul’s beach). The guidelines for the current corona crisis where followed up very strictly & efficiently.”

“This is an ideal location if you want to explore Lindos and the surrounding area. The apartments are located on the main road near Lindos Bus Station. Do not be put off by this – whilst busy during the day, it is not noisy at night and it means that you have easy access to regular buses to Rhodes Town and to other main resorts and destinations such as Kiotari, Asklipio and Prasonisi. There is also a regular shuttle between the bus station and Lindos centre. Near the apartment there is a food shop and a bar which has live music some evenings. The apartments are owned by a local hotel chain. There are no check-in staff on site. You will be given instructions as to how you access your apartment. English-speaking assistance is available by phone. The owners are responsive - we were unable to access the safe in our apartment and the hotel sent someone to help. The apartment was simple but perfect for our needs. In addition to the normal hotel room facilities, it had a fridge and a kitchen sink, but no cooking facilities (you do not need them anyway – see our comments about restaurants). There is a kettle, a coffee machine as well as cups, glasses and a bottle opener. Our balcony was a fantastic location for breakfast with the sun coming up over the Lindos Acropolis. If you are up early enough you may even see wild goats wondering across the bus station. The town and beach are located down the hill to the left of the bus station. The beach is clean and sandy and the sea is very good for swimming. The town is full of restaurants and bars - take some time to explore the narrow streets before you make your choice. Look out for the restaurants that have roof gardens – the view over Lindos at night is stunning.”
