The London Lodge Hotel is a beautifully furnished Victorian town house hotel, situated in the quiet and historic Kensington area of central London, close to public transport and Olympia exhibition centre, and within easy walking distance of Holland Park, Kensington Palace, Natural History Museum, Hyde Park, Victoria & Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall and other famous London attractions.
Very nice, small hotel. Very warm and velcoming staff. Good size room. Very good location, with only a short walk to the Earls Court underground with three different lines and good acsess to all parts of the city. There were nice places to eat in Earls Court Road. The hotel is clean, and the bathroom is nice and practical. Aircondition worked fine. The breakfast was a little poor, but that is continental breakfast... All in all a very nice stay, and I would recommend this hotel to others.
Website misleading, Dreadful tiny musty rooms ,flusher on toilet separating from unit, decor revolting dollies on beds, not clean, zero storage, left after first night, no excuses please
Plenty of space in room, good size bath, clean.
The manager and staff made you feel very much at home. They got to know their guests and their needs very quickly. The hotel advertises as "London home away from home" for some, and that is accurate. Would definitely go again.
The hotel was fairl small (which I wanted), friendly and well-run, in a central location. The price was reasonable.
it is not convenient to the subway, many of the room services did not work properly or as expected. for example, the in-room safe did not work, the in-room pants press did not work, the TV reception was exceptionally poor, the bed linens were quite poor, the shower is weak and the upkeep of the hotel is shameful.
Air conditioning in the room
clean, comfortable, excellent beds
very very expensive by US standards, not enough storage space
friendly and helpful staff
