Great location. 5 minutes to the tube. Easy walking to major attractions. Charming boutique hotel. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The family enjoyed having a drink at the end of the evening in the bar and learning more about London from Jade the wonderful bartender.
Mattress could have been a bit firmer.
location - Mayfair, Regent St. and Oxford St. around the corner. Staff is very friendly, rooms are quiet, wifi works really well, overall a fab experience.
Hotel staff was very friendly, but could be a bit more attentive (had to ask 3 times for my bag to be brought up, and took them close to half an hour), and the room maids called me 4 times asking if I needed anything when I had thanked them during the first call already ;-)
The staff were all very professional and helpful. The room was very good and quite traditional.
The cleanliness of the room and the proximity to everything
The room while very clean and tidy and beautifully appointed was also very small. We travelled with a baby that required a cot and we needed to move the table and chair from the room to give us room. The bathroom was also very small and could only accommodate one person at a time.
the surroundings were very welcoming, the staff where excellent and never hesitated to go out of their way to assist you with anything. breakfast and dinner in their restaurant was lovely.
The peace and quiet even though in the heart of London
No fridge in room
The staff hospitality
- Excellent restaurant. - The staff taking their time to talk to you ...
- Noisy pipe net work from rooms next to.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful
Amazing service and great breakfasts! Also very near the Green Park tube station.
The location is phenomenal, the room comfortable, and the staff are attentive & courteous. There was abundant hot water for the bath. If you're looking for a "luxury hotel" experience, at a reasonable price, I'd reccommend the Chesterfield. They were extremely helpful about returning an item which had been left in the room: without prompting, they called me to say they'd found it, and offered to post it to me.
They charge £16.50 for a continental breakfast: I'm sure it's very nice, but at that price I wasn't about to find out... No-one showed us how to work the heating in our room, and consequently the temperature fluctuated wildly. The toliletries in the bathroom were nondescript.
