I - LA MASSERIA At the gates of Martano, a few steps from the historic center, Masseria Giovanni offers a stay of relaxation, nature and good food, for an unforgettable holiday in Salento. We are in the heart of Grecìa Salentina, land of culture and traditions, 10 km from the rocky coasts of Roca and the beaches of Torre dell'Orso, Frassanito and the Alimini. Lecce is 20 minutes away by car, Otranto just 10. At 4 km there is the important SS16 that connects Lecce to Santa Maria di Leuca. From an ancient farmhouse from which it takes its name stands Masseria Giovanni, an enchanting building that preserves the typical features of traditional local architecture such as the large star-shaped vaults and artistic details. These elements are especially noticeable in the indoor relaxation areas, where the splendid fireplace in Lecce stone is housed, and in the large dining room where the rich breakfast buffet is served each morning, as well as in the characteristic decor of the place. II - THE SUITES Masseria Giovanni offers 8 suites with different types. The superior suites are two-roomed apartments with a double bedroom and a living room with a double sofa bed, and can accommodate up to 4 people. The plus junior suite is equipped with a double bed and an additional bed, while the 3 junior suites have a double bedroom. The rooms are located on the ground floor and are accessible from the internal garden, and all have air conditioning and a private bathroom. III - THE GARDENS Even the gardens preserve the traditional Salento soul, without sacrificing comfort and leisure. The spacious outdoor patio is furnished with outdoor sitting areas and a gazebo with Wi-Fi, ideal for moments of relaxation both day and night. The wonderful swimming pool, equipped with solarium and pool bar, is the ideal place to enjoy the sunny Salento summer at few steps from your suite. Being in the highest area of the Masseria it is sunny in all daylight hours and offers a light refreshing breeze. The maximum depth of 1.4 meters allows safe bathing even for children.
