Very affordable for today's hotel prices
Bed was too firm
Old, run-down, and in a sketchy part of town.
The front desk woman was friendly.
The place looks as if the last timer it was given a refresh was in the 80s. Everything — carpets, paint, lighting, bedding, phones, outlets — was old and worn out. My room reeked of mildew, the pillows were ancient and I'm amazed I didn't catch bed bugs. All for a $300, last minute booking.
Good experience, good price, would return
Friendly staff. 2nd room was clean, had no issues changing rooms Huge room. Comfortable bed. Great price for hotel chain.
1st room had a smell (they changed my room with no issues) Uncomfortable pillows. Free breakfast left a lot to be desired, but it's free
Good for a quick cheap overnight close to the airp
Good bang for the buck, free MIA shuttle, free continental breakfast, pool, small gym, courteous personnel, empty minibar for usage...
Older facilities (also it appeared as if the A/C was not working in the lobby), no restaurant on-site, no free parking, the MIA shuttle took forever to arrive for pick-up at MIA, loud A/C unit in the room...
Nasty facility ; van driver pick up horrible
Front desk clerk was courteous
Van airport pick up service needs improvement. Took 1.25 minutes to even get a van driver and when we called repeatedly back to the hotel the phone would ring and ring. The pillow cases had locks on them! The iron was locked on the ironing board!
Dirty, Smelly, Poor WiFi, Homeless Roamng the Hall
The breakfast area was clean - and the coffee was good..
Dirty, smelly, extremely poor WiFi service, no place to eat nearby, homeless people rooming the halls passing out flyers for food delivery - 5 flyers were put under my door within one hour, I opened the door to see who was doing this and a poorly dressed man wearing old and dirty clothes was walking the halls, then another, then another, etc.
The beds were very comfortable and the pool was nice.
Room and bathroom was very small, the breakfast could of been better and we found dirt all around the room carpet ( seems to haven't been cleaned in months). I caught a housekeeping staff fiddling on his phone in an open empty room while I had been waiting over an hour to get 3 towels.
It was descent.
Good price and pleasent stay
Clean and confortable
I didn't like anything there were roaches and it was very over priced
Pool table in lobby.
They wouldn't supply an extra blanket unless they charged us $10 extra. What kind of hotel does that?
Should've slept on the airport floor...
I booked this hotel at the last minute, hoping for some sleep between a late arrival and early departure flight. The price was much more than I wanted to spend, but the desire for sleep prevailed. I should have kept my money and slept at the airport. The shuttle took 30 minutes to come (even though I called and was told it had "just left"). Got to the hotel, to 2 front desk personnel, one who was on the phone so long the other registered 2 guests before he hung up. No attempt to multi-task, especially considering it was midnight and all were exhausted. When we finally got to our room, the room key did not work. Did not get into the room until 1:00 am. And then found 2 roaches in the bathroom. By then, the shuttle was no longer operating and we had nowhere to go. So kept our bags on chairs and desk, hoping to keep them bug-free. And did I mention the plastic-covered pillows that crunched when you put your head on them? Really disappointing and definitely not worth the 2-stars. Would not recommend.
