The place is royal! Unexpectedly awesome! We felt like queens there, in a big stylish festive room. Design is very lovely, with a lot of love for every detail. The bed is very comfortable, we slept very well. There are only 2 rooms for quests, second room was empty, we felt special. We could choose a time of breakfast and customise a breakfast set (different options for English or continental breakfasts). Breakfast is really charming, with the sweetest decoration and look on the yard like in a fairy tale.
If to be very picky, we didn't expect that it's such a small family business, without a reception area or foyer. Check in was a bit overwhelming, the host came into our room with us, where we had to fill out the forms and quickly choose the time and configuration of breakfast. It felt a bit like a pressing, especially in a tired condition after a train trip. We were not informed, that at night it's not possible to use heating, because heating system is very old. Somehow second night I was freezing a lot. For out check out (officially latest at 11.00), we were a bit shocked by knocking on the door at 10.59, when one of us was in a toilet. I understand, it's German punctuality etc, but this nervousness spoiled a bit an impression from our trip. Nevertheless, I can only highly recommend this place!
A delightful place to stay with extremely friendly hosts. The room was very large, and nicely appointed. Breakfast was 10/10. Highly recommend.
