Pros: Avalon and Rudi are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay and got the most out of my short visit to Palm Beach. The bird feeding in the morning was absolutely fantastic! Delightful way to start the day (and the yummy breakfast too!). Everything was very clean and tidy. A lovely place to stay.
Pros: What a gem, so deceptive from the outside. The warm welcome from Rudi, Avalon and the local Kookaburras only served to enhance the comfort and cleanliness of the house.
Pros: Very relaxed atmosphere, in a great location. Rudi and Avalon were very helpful and great hosts. The native birds that came in of a morning for food were an added attraction. Highly recommended.
Pros: Fantastic hospitality
Pros: wonderful - great company & fantastic spread.
Pros: Rudi and Avalon were the perfect hosts! They picked us up from the bus stop and even drove us to our event we were attending in the evening so we didn’t have to walk. The b&b was exceptionally clean and the beds were really comfortable. They were very informative, helpful and friendly, without being invasive of our privacy. Would definitely stay again
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!
Pros: Amazing hosts and a lovely place to stay
Pros: The place is very sweet. Very warm welcome from the host and was kind enough to drive me and my girlfriend to the Jonah's restaurant. Lovely breakfast and birds in the morning. Absolutely enjoyed the stay!
Cons: I lost the key and now they are saying they will take legal action. Very poor
Pros: Very friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome at all times. They added a lot of value to our stay by giving us great local recommendations along with any relevant information. The house was very comfortable and filled with a lot of very interesting things - books, classic cars etc. They have a beautiful backyard and even more beautiful birds that come and say hi.. which you can feed and pat if you want! Overall it was a great experience that surpassed our expectations. Not only would we recommend it but we plan to come again soon.

Pros: Beautiful location Very clean. Make sure you bring food the hostel is only accessible by ferry, We’ll be back!!
Pros: If you want to escape from Sydney city buzz, this place is a must. Warm and caring hosts will advise you on the best trails to satisfy your love for nature and curiosity. The facilities and clean and well kept. Wallabies and bird life around. Peace and good vibes ☀️
Pros: Fabulous location. Clean and well cared for. Quietude. Hardly anyone else there. Fire in common room. The journey there via ferry then on foot. Some great original artwork on walls and doors.
Pros: I loved everything else, especially the setting in the forest, the building nestled on a ledge between a rock face and a terrace, and the gorgeous ferry ride across Pittwater to get there. And the friendly people. Also the wallabies and bush turkeys. Great that they had kayaks and volleyball equipment too.
Cons: Not disabled friendly
Pros: A great adventure getting there by boat. And such a beautiful peaceful place to relax.
Pros: Location and quiet
Cons: Maybe a golf cart to take luggage up the hill would be a welcome addition
Pros: Great managers. Great volunteers and amazing visitors. Good sense of team in best collective spirit. Records of previous visitors and activities including botanical and herpetologist blogs. Great surroundings. Innumerable hikes, trails, kayak routes, aboriginal sites. No shops, no urbanisation, no easy access means you have to plan ahead, organise and commit to the experience, which is great for the soul. You have to live on nature's resources, with rain water and self-closing taps that invite for energy-saving and waste-awareness. Plenty of spiders, snakes, jellyfish and a myriad of birds and insects to remind us that this is a shared world and that human conventions, concerns, ideas, values, cultural and legal systems, borders are nothing but petty unimportant details and narrowsighted caprice in the midst of bigger nature and mother evolution. Peaceful, calm, amazing for intellectual and spiritual inspiration. Best hostel I have been so far.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like other than occasional snoring of roommates. At one point kayaking back from the aboriginal petroglyphic peckled engravings, the wind was blowing hard against us in the oceanic waters in the bay where waves were forming, I was on the single-manned kayak and lost sight of my excursion mates. Felt a slint of dispair thinking of rolling over and falling prey to stingrays and the colonies of hundreds of giant jellyfish. But it just invited me to pull myself together and bring out the energy, force and courage to keep rowing harder and harder. The arrival at the hostel beach after almost 2 hours was glorious. among the best feelings I've had.
Pros: We were looking for a place to escape Sydney just for the time of a weekend, enjoy nice walks in the nature and do some kayaking and stuff. Pittwater YHA was just perfect !! We had the most beautiful weekend, surrounded by like-minded people (couples, families, small group of friends), and felt so refreshed after only 2 days... We'll definitely go back as soon as possible!
Pros: Nice and clean and comfy
Cons: There is no plug near by my bed
Pros: Wonderful location and amazing hosts

Pros: the view of the beach is amazing. the size of the room and the bed was so comfortable. bed was made daily.
Pros: location to party function
Cons: water over the floor due to it being a wheelie room, hey but no big deal
Pros: It was a good location for us to visit a relative....our only reason for staying there. Staff very helpful and plessant.
Cons: It was very basic and quite tired esp the carpet
Pros: This must be the 5th or 6th time we've stayed here over the past 4 years. Location is excellent. Parking is good. Rooms are very big. Beds are comfortable. Balcony large with an amazing view over the beach/ocean. Not too noisy the 4 nights we stayed (Wed to Sun) in July. Bus stop nearby to Wynyard, Manly and Palm Beach. We had a large superior sea view room. Bistro not bad, but would benefit from a few more vegetarian options and regular clearing and cleaning of the tables, which were pretty dirty the dinners we had there.
Cons: Breakfast was adequate, but plates, cups, cutlery were not clean - lipstick on cutlery and mugs as an example every morning. Also, the location of the towel rails in the bathroom was right next to the toilet, far from the shower/bath - in such a big bathroom, WHY??? Bathroom was pretty dark. Coffee table wasn't clean and nor was the sofa. The plastic covered sofa (with crumbs and food stains in the cracks) was very hard and uncomfortable to sit on, so we sat on the beds when in the room.
Cons: Shower rose shot water out like darts and diverter leaked a lot. “City view” turned out to be “block of units view”.
Pros: breakfast was good and good location rooms just a little outdated
Cons: a little run down
Pros: All good
Cons: Lighting terrible in room
Pros: Clean & comfortable & great location
Cons: Very noisy eating at the bistro, but food was very nice
Cons: The price for local business owners and the way the account was handled . Over priced .
Pros: Location friendly staff
Cons: The weather way a chilly

Pros: Everything ok location quiet
Cons: No tissues in bathroom
Pros: So close to everything beautiful stay
Pros: It was less noisy than I expected for accommodation behind a pub on a Friday night.
Cons: After a pleasant greeting from the barman who then went to find the manager, check-in (at the bar of the pub) was unwelcoming and confusing, and seemed to take a very long time for what was a pre-paid booking. My credit card and drivers licence were taken ‘out the back’ and out of my sight for so long that I became rather anxious. I was made to feel more like a nuisance than a paying guest.
Pros: No breakfast available Had to walk 30 mins to Dee Why for breakfast
Cons: No breakfast, no bath mats, no hair dryers
Pros: Comfortable bed. Great bistro and bar staff
Cons: It is looking a bit dated
Pros: Pleasant staff
Cons: Hair dryer. Empty stinking cigarette bins outside rooms.
Pros: breakfast wasn ;t avaiable
Cons: that i had to find a place that made breakfast
Pros: Very comfortable
Cons: The Bathroom door in the room was to heavy and couldn't slide shut
Pros: Newish and clean. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: The entry to half the units around the back fence. A bit scary at night. No real security measure in place like a code entry gate or even CCTV.
Pros: The location was ideal for the purpose of my attending a meeting at Collaroy. The Bistro was good value for lunch and the food was great.
Cons: A little less band noise

Pros: great location and affordable prices for the cabins
Pros: Location, layout of the park. Staff were excellent.
Cons: An extra blanket in a cupboard would of been great. Broken cupboard door almost fell on my daughter when she tried to open it.
Pros: The rooms were spacious and the views were lovely, staff were helpful and courteous.
Cons: The gate lock broke and we were unable to get out of the villa, the lock was removed and we were able to leave but it was unsafe with the two small children I was travelling with, we were told it would be fixed the next morning. It was not fixed! It wasn’t fixed until the afternoon the day before we left.
Cons: could have a few pet friendly studios etc
Cons: I very much didnt like that the price went up $10 each time I looked at the booking. Price went up $10 in the first 20 mins on the first nite looking. That did not make me happy!!?
Pros: perfect location never had breaky
Cons: it could have been for free
Pros: The location is great
Cons: After a mistake with our ten day booking we were offered a discounted cabin. Had we paid full price, we would have paid an average of well over $200 per night, during off season. Entering our cabin, we found dirty broken blinds, dirty crockery, stains on furniture and blanket, excessive mould and rotting timber in bathroom, in fact we couldn't understand how this cabin passed a health inspection. The water temperature was impossible to regulate, being either too hot or too cold, making showering very unpleasant, towel rail dislodged from the back of bathroom door, and the internet connection was very poor. Our cabin had a car parking space but to get to it, we had to drive down a footpath and navigate around trees. The park itself is not well maintained. Some of the bins stank so badly that we had to hold our noses when lifting the lid. The park also claims to have a swimming pool but this is not so. If you want to swim, it's either the ocean, the lake or the beach pool which is subject to closure by council at any unspecified time. The location of this park is fantastic and it is the location, we think, that enables this park to get away with charging so much for a cabin that we found to be more like a hovel than acceptable accommodation. Ironically on our way home we stayed at the the Bonny Hills Ingenia Big 4. Our cabin was extremely clean and bright. This park also has beachfront location and water parks etc for children, plus a real swimming pool. At $87 per night, we wished we'd holidayed there instead of travelling to Sydney.
Pros: Good location
Cons: No hairdryer
Pros: This place is spotless, in perfect location, the cabin had everything you could need, the grounds are immaculate, receptionist was lovely, great value for money as you’re getting a 2 bedroom cabin for the price of a hotel room.
Cons: The fact it’s not pet friendly
Pros: Staff were great and upgraded us
Cons: Misleading advertising showing detached cottage but units when you got there
