The staff at the desk were courteous, helpful and spoke very good English; one printed my boarding pass for the return to London.
The breakfast room was cramped and while I understand service is expensive some guidance would be helpful.
I liked everything, the room was very big, the sheets beautifully laundered.
The location was perfect for our needs, easy access to the airport, on the sea front, close to the Old Town and right beside the shopping and restuarant areas.
The extractor fan in our bathroom did not work and when mentioned to the management nothing happened but we were only there two nights, in winter time and it did not impinge on our enjoyment.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They also spoke English very well. The room was clean and comfortable and the best feature was the location right on the water next to the flower market.
The first room we were given overlooked a street where construction was being done. When we asked for a different room they very graciously moved us to one away from the noise.
The Location is the winner of this place. As with all hotels the rooms are bit small and are below similar rating of rest of Europe but nothing to get too upset about. overall the hotel is clean and tidy. I do remember the breakfast being very good for this type of hotel, a nice big offering.
if you have a car, Nice can be a nightmare to park at weekends. thats not the hotel's fault though!
excellent location, clean and comfort room, friendly staff
The closeness to the beach and old town. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke good English which was contrary to reviews I'd read so fab!
Excellent location, ok service.
Quite small rooms.
The location was great ..right on the beach and the flower market behind. This was def. the best bit about the hotel. The room was ok and the air conditioning was great. It just felt very expensive for what it was considering you then had to pay another 13 euros for breakfast ! ( which we didn't !)
The view from the window was terrible and we were right at the top of the hotel. The balcony had one chair and was covered in bird droppings. We were quite concerned about the fire regulations and how we would escape if we needed to !!! I think this is important to check out for people allocated the rooms at the top of the hotel.
