Pros: The car was running smoothly. Lady behind the counter was smiling all the time.
Cons: 30 minute queue for pick-up, around the same for drop-off. They tried to push extras down my throat, even after I had been waiting in the queue for 30 minutes.
On the contract it was specified that there was a mark on the front bumper. The exact location was not shown. When I got back, they said the inital mark was in a different place the bumper and charged me ~500EUR for that bumper. I did not hit or abuse the car.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CHECK AND DOCUMENT ALL SCRATCHES BEFORE YOU HIT THE ROAD, AS THEY WILL PIN ANYTHING ON YOU!
I am now in the process of claiming the sum back from the third party insurance I am glad I had.

Difficult to Navigate
Pros: Easy drop box to return your keys and car after hours.
Cons: Extremely difficult to find - there are signs, but the way in which they lead you to the entrance is quite a goose chase if you are not from the area.

Cons: I ordered a child seat and had to choose from seven dirty options.

2 hour wait in line to pick up car in nice france
Pros: Not much after the 2 hours wait to get the car and the outrageous insurance fee.
Cons: Waiting in line for 2 hours and unspecified insurance cost. This should have been in the initial wuote.

Pros: Actually, we didn't return the car to Nice. We arranged to drop it off in Peripignon, where the return went fine

Pros: Generally liked the car (Renault Espace), but it is an experience. No visible dials, buttons, etc on the dash board. Definitely requires someone to show you how things work before driving away, but there was no one available to help.
Cons: Arrived in Nice and they did not have the car I requested (Citroen C4 or similar). Said only car I could have was a van, in a different price category and that I would have to pay the difference in rates. Attendant said she was new and didn't have the ability to waive the extra cost. To me this is unacceptable and I would like to request a refund of the extra charges. At that moment, you are a prisoner, tired after the journey to get there, and with less will to fight.
Drop off in Paris very difficult as drop offs, as I learned trough experience, are only in parking garages with no indication that Europcar have operations in them. Drove around for hours before finding Montparnasse.

Full tank, but
Pros: The car was nice, staff were friendly
Cons: The tank showed full, but only barely. Two miles further it was below 'full'. Which means that whoever returned it didn't do a good job filling up, nor did the garage pick up on it

Cons: Had a Mercedes lined up for $500 over four days and was told we could get a van for much less with much more room. Took 15 minutes to switch the reservation around, and only at the end was I told that it was almost $290 more, despite the agents assurance it would be less.
Cons: Charged me an upgrade for the same car i ordered and was pictured.
Took over an hour to get the counter documents completed
Poor English skills throughout the counter team
NEVER use these people, one name or another!
