Clean, spacious, good price. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of German breakfast items. Close proximity to Cuxhaven. (10-15 minute drive)
I was there with my wife and my 2 years old daughter. Hotel stuff was very very friendly, helped us with everything including with searching for a pharmacy at 2 a.m.! The rooms were big and clean. Location was also good, in a nice and quite place, very close to the sea and a camping place. A bit in the middle of nowhere but we enjoyed it like this. The hotel had a very nice yard. The yard of the hotel was very nice.. However, in order to make a really child friendly yard, I believe at least part of the yard should be closed with a fence (otherwise small kids can run on the street very easily. Also, a small playing ground with sand and maybe a slide would have been nice.
The lush green countryside, the quietness, the seaside and nearby town of Cuxhaven.Boarding arrangements should be made to make the stay more comfortable. The hotel lacks tea/coffee arrangements in the room. This is a must.
Warm Friendly Excellent Pleasant-incredible team! Super service-grea great food desserts and beer! You would have to be crazy not to stay here!!
It was excellent! We would recommend this to anyone. Really lovely staff. Worth the money. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Large room with comfy beds. Bathroom with both shower and bath. The best restaurant on our whole round-the-Europe-trip! A pictoresque village with lots to see and do. Only that our room had a "view" to the roof of the building, nothing else could be seen. Everything else was lovely!
The rooms were clean and kept up daily. The staff was courteous and helpful. The resaurant was very good. no
Room was comfortable and well decorated. Food was very good, as were the staff. Only stayed one night on business so the lack of internet access didn't cause a problem.
Very, very close to the beach. The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful with anything that I needed. Being an Armerican stationed in Germany, I thought it was very convenient that the receptionist spoke very good English. Finding the hotel was not really a problem, however it was a little confusing as to where to park. There is not a lot of space in front of the hotel and unless you have been there before, I don't think a lot of people would know where to park their car being a room key is needed for the parking garage.
situation - atmosphere - view to the sea from our room -
small, clean and cozy! The Staff was friendly! The Breakfast was an A+!
We liked the comfort, the clean room, the large and airy bathroom and the lovely breakfast. ---------
Nice well maintained hotel with friendly staff. Close to the Helgoland ferry.
The room was very nice for the price, and the hotel staff held my luggage past check out time until I finished running my marathon. I would highly recommend it.
The frendly and servicminded staff. Resturant with exelent food.
Personnel was extremely well trained professional and courteous.Avery well run establishment extremely small showers
I didn't pay the extra for a sea view but was still amazed, what a beautiful location. I will definately stay here again, the room was perfect, the food was great and the staff very friendly. thank you for a lovely stay.
The location and the view of the hotel is great. In the restaurant we ordered the Fischplatte "Deichgraf" which was wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful. We did bring our dog and he had more than enough space in the room and on the balcony.
Quite relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff
The hotel was new (only opened about 1 year ago) and all the furnishings were top notch. The restaurant was awesome, with the best breakfast I have had in Germany. Romantically situated on top of the sea dike with great views of the coast. The sea side rooms had nice balconies and great views. Very peaceful. No parking up next to the hotel, but there is adequate access by car and the parking is only a few hundred meters away.
Location,Breakfast No Internet available for two days, No Air conditioning in the rooms, Most of the Resturant service staff inexperienced,
The amenities of the room were of high quality. I was quite unhappy to have a room that smelled like cigarette smoke when I had requested a non-smoking room. I was told that the hotel was full so it was not possible to give us another room. I would not have booked the room had I known this.
The hotel staff is very friendly and the valley parking was a plus since the parking lot is behind the "deich". The location is excellent, close to Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven, as well as to the seaside. The rooms are big and well equipped, and the balcony is inviting. You can see the big ships pass by from Bremerhaven, and the sunset was beautiful. We arrived when the temperature hit 96 deg Fahrenheit. The rooms did not have air conditioning and the seaside facing room we rented was extremely warm. It did cool down the next day to a bearable level. The hotel was under staffed, but the available staff in the restaurant/bar tried their best to keep up with demand. The kitchen is fair, could be better for a 4 star. The camping site in front of the hotel is somewhat of an eyesore, but according to the local paper plans are being made to move it to another location.
Interesting and lovely location a nice size hotel - I don't like big hotels Good friendly staff Not cheap given there is no swimming pool
The staff was very willing to assist me. They spot both English and deutch and possibly other languages which was a comfort in its self. This hotel was more like a traditional american hotel you would see in the states. Nice Lobby, swimming pool, sauna, Resturant etc. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was its hours the staff works. I'm used to being able to get a hold of the staff at any time or check in at anytime and I wasn't able to do this here. However that is pretty normal in Europe, I would have the same complaint about any hotel in the EU
The proximity to the beach, the size of the room.
The warm and nice atmosphere!
Being from New York City, this destination was quite off the trail for the usual US tourist. The breakfast was elegant and memorable, the room quite comfortable and immaculate, parking very easy, included access to the spa...liked everything. No
big comfortable room with balcony and big bathroom. great breakfast. friendly staff. great value. free entry into the swimming complex across the road. walking distance to restaurants and cafes. this is not a complaint, just advice: there is a city tax not included in the price - make sure you pay this tax to the receptionist on arrival at the hotel, as the receipt gives you free access to the beach. (Otherwise you will have to pay 2.80 euros per person to visit the beach.)
There was nothing to fault about the hotel, everything was superb.
the room was very comfortable , the spa was very relaxing , the breakfast was excellent with top class service. We were unable to get coffee at 11.15 p.m. and were declined in a very gruff manner.by a waitress and head waiter.
