Key card reader for my room never worked correctly, despite requests to have it checked out. The night stand between the beds was broken and tipped downwards, and one of the two bed lamps was burned out. Overall this facility has been used pretty hard.
Pros (+) This hotel was very clean, had a great breakfast buffet, and extremely friendly staff! We were there for a four day visit to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and this hotel is literally a six minute drive to the park!
Cons (-) Everything was wonderful! I have to disagree with others who said the eggs were not good. They are the same eggs that every hotel breakfast buffet serves! The veggie omelets and the stuffed omelets were very tasty!
Pros (+) Great staff and comfort. Breakfast was great and includes a good variety.
Cons (-) Location isn't the best. Having one tiny entrance doesn't help taxi drivers. Elevator takes forever. I almost waited 5 minutes to take the elevator down.

The washer on the 5th floor worked fine, but when it came time to dry the clothes, people had left clothes in the dryers on the 5th and 4th floor so I used the one on the 3rd floor. Pros (+) Lovely place. Really close to Universal. The breakfast was tasty. My room was very comfy and spotlessly clean. All staff members were pleasant, however Kim at the front desk deserves a special mention for his especially courteous manners. The gym was well equipped for a cardio workout.
Cons (-) My only gripe is that there is no restaurant on site and the only places relatively close by are the typical junk-food haunts.
