My advice if you go to Florida more than once per year is to sign up for your own SunPass and bring it with you or bring your EZ Pass from home because there are a lot of paid roads in Florida. Renting in Orlando: I prefer the off-property car rental places such as Advantage Car Rental at the MCO Airport. Access is easy and you will avoid the poorly designed and crazy-busy on-property traffic pattern. Local Driving: When you drive on I-4, just realize that you will be stuck in heavy traffic going west toward Lakeland or Tampa or east toward downtown Orlando - often stopped or crawling - for 20 to 30 minutes. Stay in the middle lanes(s) when possible. Once this thinking is kinda built into your travel estimate, you're good! Drivers aren't generally as aggressive as, say, Boston Rt 128 or Florida East Coast I-95 drivers, yet there are LOTS of them! There is always quite a bit of traffic on I-4. Polk Parkway, John Young Parkway, and other alternative routes are usually good for travel and busy but not maniacal.

Driving in Orlando is relatively easy but you do need satnav. One consideration is whether or not to buy a “toll package” at $12.99 per day. Apparently some tolls don’t take cash as the relevant cash booths are not manned so you could subsequently be hit with significant administration charges + relevant toll charges each time you go through the toll if you can’t pay cash at the booth. The big consideration is how often are you likely to pass through tolls to the locations you are going to. I would not take the weekly toll package with the benefit of hindsight as the only tolls I encountered during my stay were on main/very busy roads (e.g. to/from airport) where the toll booths were manned.

Perfect service! booking online was simple. Getting the car at the counter from the Alamo agent felt like it took less than 3 minutes total. Employee in the parking lot was friendly and helpful, drop off crew was also very helpful and kind. I honestly loved every second of my experience with Alamo. Had a luxury rental and the car was flawless

Generally good overall experience with Alamo. No issues with vehicle rented. The car I reserved wasn't available when I arrived at Alamo. The worker arranged for an "upgrade" that upgraded the cost by adding $70 to the cost of the rental, not including fees. Wasn't expecting this. Wish I had other options but needed the rental car so agreed to the extra charge. That was the biggest negative with this rental experience.

At check in felt very pressured to upgrade everything. Was given incorrect information about the insurance to convince me to purchase. Found the pressured sales at check in uncomfortable. The fob didn’t work very well- the battery must have been low and so it was annoying to lock, unlock and start the car. Often took multiple attempts which was inconvenient. There was no wait to pick up the car which was fantastic. The return of the car was very smooth.

There was a huge line to get the car already reserved that took near 1-hour. After the car return I was charged for some services I didn't agree, even after being explicit with the company not to add services besides the one already included in the original reservation. Got in contact with the company afterwards to complain and was told that they had some small letters on the contract that allow them to proceed this way. Very bad experience and would not recoment the company.

First car had issues with phone connectability so I asked to change (before leaving pickup area) and that was begrudgingly done. Asked to add pre-pay fuel at exit which is where we have always been told to and was told they couldn't and that I had to call to arrange. Call cost me a lot due to international chargers on my phone. When I called they refused to do so because I had already collected which meant I had to mess around filling up at near an airport with hard to find fuel options. Wasn't advised of the change, if there is one or it may just have been an employee that couldn't be bothered. Very unhelpful on phone.

The price I was quoted when I reserved the car was much less than I ended up paying. Also I was told that extending the rental another day would be $30 and I turned out to be $71. When I called to question this, I was told it was a “miscommunication.” This is untrue. The car was nice but it had low air in one tire and I had to stop and top it up, even though I only had the car for two days. I won’t be renting with Avis again.

The Tesla 3 model I got ended up being infested with roaches. Luckily roadside came and picked the vehicle up. Customer service was great but this still caused a inconvenience since we had to wash all of our clothes and bags that were left in the car during our day at Disney

We could not get our car from budget and had to use Avis. Which is owned by the same company. However, we were lied to and told if we didn’t fill our tank upon return, we would be charged the normal gallon rate for gas. We ended up being charged $9 a gallon. This is extreme price gouging, and we will be reporting it. Upon arrival to return our car, they told us it’s normal gas prices to refill or we would’ve went back and filled the tank. We simply missed the gas exit.

The car smelled like body odor. When I returned it, they claimed there was damage and pointed to a scuff in the paint that was there when I picked it up. I had always been told by rental agencies that they don't care about scuffs so I did not report it. I assumed they had recent photos on file but they did not. They are processing it and will contact me later so I do not know if they plan to charge me. Won't be using them again.

I liked the Tesla 3 rental. The pickup and return was good. People were helpful and professional. It was not vacuumed inside real well. My overall poor rating to due to the add-on fees after the return. I understand the TAX add on costs, however the add on concession recovery fee's, license fees, and facility charges were not known upfront when I choose this rental. The total add on fees equaled 62% of the rental cost and was $90 more than I was expecting. I likely will avoid Hertz rentals in the future. ........Ross D Ballard

I had a non-refundable fully prepaid two day car rental reservation purchased at Kayak (booked through priceline). I just came back from the car rental location after wasting two hours for 3 family members (including a 6 year old) and wasting money on uber rides because this was a fraudulent booking because they told me (a) the reservation does NOT including liability insurance without which it is illegal to drive in all states, (b) I needed to additionally pay $15+ per day for toll e-responder (which is mandatory because many tool locations no longer have cash lanes), and (c) after I agreed to pay both these additional costs which almost doubled the original price for me, and signed a more than dozen pages of agreements, the person at the counter offered me a car which had dents/damage at three location and suggested I videotape the car fully before leaving so that I am liable for damage. I have never rented a car where I video tape everything and made plans to fight off such scams. I asked the person at the counter to cancel everything, and we took an uber to our hotel. Can Kayak help me get a refund for my original booking and stop these bait and switch prepaid scams? Just to reiterate, I entered my credit card info at Kayak when I purchased this booking.

I was charged for gas when I brought it back full. The pick up was late and I wanted a late delivery but I was charged. They tried to give me a lessor vehicle when I arrived and I had to fight to just get an equivalent to what I ordered rather than a smaller vehicle. The attendee tried to sell us a private deal so I suspect you already know that your staff also work for themselves. This has really left a bad taste with me. I would be glad to share my gas receipts less than a mile from the drop off. Never again Fox and I will share my story with others.

The whole experience was a disaster. The shuttle driver drove 80 mph on a 35 road, fell asleep at the wheel. The rental facility was in disrepair with wasp swarming around. They didn't provide a contract or terms until after booking the rental and arriving at the counter. The story goes on longer than I have time to explain. Avoid them at all costs

We came 2 hours early to get our car and had to book an additional day (to have a minivan instead of the car we had chosen) because we were told they had no cars available (even though the lot was full). The main reason we chose this rental agency was to save money, so this defeated the purpose. Also, although there were 3 people there not busy, no one offered us help. More importantly though, the check engine light came on multiple times during the trip, and the car smelled kinda bad (like it hadn't been cleaned in a while). We're going to be sticking to Enterprise or National from now on.

I use your page as a third party, you guys make me pay for insurance in advance wich was not accepted in ACE and they couldn't rent me the car after I call to make sure and I was given wrong info. Now I'm trying to get my money back from insurance and no one to talk to in KAYAK or the third party insurance company that u guys selected for me. I arrived at midnight to pick up an SUV reserved. I was told that I was late and the had given the SUV to another customer. I required a seven passenger vehicle to transport my family while in Florida. I returned the vehicle three days later and was double charged. Further, I went to the airport and reserved a seven passenger SUV from a competitor without hassle. I would not recommend an offsite vehicle renting company. I was a last-minute booking when a flight delay made my pre-arranged rental car (from my preferred brand) unavailable. The gentleman who helped me at the counter when I picked up was great. Friendly, kind service, and understanding of my situation--but the person who checked the car as I left was terrible. He didn't speak to me at all, was on the phone with someone the entire time, didn't assist me in any way. When I rent from other brands, they always ask if there's anything they can do to help me--directions, reminders about features of the car, etc... this guy just talked to whichever person on his phone and moved a truck out of the way without telling me that I was good to go or anything. I hesitated, and he gestured at me to leave. When I arrived back, the lady who helped check the car back in was courteous and kind. I wish the one man hadn't left such a bad impression, because then I could've given everyone a 5 over all.

Drop off was a breeze. Car was decently clean. Pickup the sales woman explained that I needed liability insurance for $100 for my rental because it was FL state law. I explained I carry my own insurance and I would be covered for rentals as well as my credit card coverage. She explained no it doesn’t work like that and made me sign up for the liability coverage. I late called back and complained and someone removed it thankfully but it was confrontational in the lobby while picking up my rental.

I reserved a Ford Transit (or similar) 12-passenger van. The reason I booked this rental with Dollar via KAYAK was specifically because pricing was competitive and seemed better than most other options. I booked this more than 3 months prior to our trip. Once I arrived at the Dollar rental desk, I was told that my reservation was for a 7 passenger minivan. Despite me showing emails with the reservation details showing the rate I paid and showing the type of vehicle, Dollar refused to honor the reservation. I ultimately was charged more than $500 extra for the upgrade and additional fees for the full size van, and I definitely could have booked it for cheaper than that back when I originally reserved the vehicle. I got screwed because of a communication breakdown between Dollar rental car and their online booking agent (KAYAK) and Dollar refused to accept any accountability for it…the question is, will Kayak take any responsibility

This is the third time that I have paid for a car that the rental car company classifies as an intermediate, only to be given a compact or sub-compact SUV. this time it was a Kia Soul that according to the thrifty website is a compact car, not a intermediate, but you already know that. Your counter agents are well versed in attempting to upsell the client on insurance and toll road transponders. Under NYS law neither are required and I had my own transponder with me so I accepted neither. NYS and I are fully aware of these upsell techniques.

I WENT ONLINE AND RESERVED A CAR. WENT TO THE AIRPORT IN ORLANDO AND STOOD IN LINE FOR 30 MINUTES, ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY DEBIT/CREDIT CARD. I FIND THAT UNACCEPTABLE. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN WARNED OF THIS WHEN I INDICATED THAT I WANTED A CAR OUT OF THE ORLANDO AIRPORT.

Terrible, they gave me a “special” rate where is should have said fully electric car because the car was more costly than a midsize sedan which lead me to believe it was a larger vehicle. The person at the desk refused to change my deal because it was purchased on Kayak and then proceeded to try to upsell me a car that was going to be twice as expensive than the internet price. NEVER AGAIN!

They were trying hard to sell the add ons and were misleading. They stated “so you want to bring the car back on empty” or “so you want limited coverage or full coverage”. Never giving the option of returning it with a full tank of gas or no coverage. It felt like it was a trap.

I feel robbed and scammed because upon arrival they mention that because I am a Florida resident, I am not renting at the moment and that it was written in fine print in the policies. I will never rent again in my life. I will make sure that those I know do not do so. Since upon arriving at the airport, I rented from another company without any problems. This should be part of the knowledge of Kaya and Expedia agencies and should be made known to customers in some way.

Booked the car for about $135 for 5 days, but at the counter wound up with another $235 in charges for insurance protections. Lots of threatening language about liability. This place is horrible. It is an absolute zoo. It took almost 2 hours to pick up the car even though there were only 6 people in front of me. The employees are rude, slow and very unprofessional. It was easily the worst car rental experience I have ever had. They tacked on an extra “fee” for unlimited mileage that was not in the original quote and just said it was their policy. And when I finally got the car it was filthy and completely out of gas. I’m surprised I had enough gas to get to a gas station. Save yourself a headache and do not rent from this place.

Terrible! Prices were not as advertised, they did not accept personal insurance and sold me a toll pass I really did not need. After speaking with a manager from a different car rental company, I will never book a car through Kayak or similar 3rd party again. What was suppose to cost me $150 ended up costing me over $700. I had paid for my car in full. I had to wait for my bus to pick us up. He didn’t want to wait. When I arrived at the pick up I was late due to bad weather and my car was given away. Remember I paid in full the car so it should have been there no matter what. I receive a smaller car after paying for the more larger one and wasn’t given my money back. Was told my insurance on my master card wasn’t good enough for insurance which I had used Multiple times in Florida. Which is the reason I have this cards to for theses extras. I was forced to purchase insurance. He told me I had to complete the walk around and fill out the forms as I look for the damage. Never had to do that. I walked around in the dark as the property doesn’t have enough light to see the dents and scratches on the vehicle. The office wasn’t up to standard. Needs a face lift. Wanted to drop off the car and there’s didn’t have a night time drop off between. 11pm- 6am . Had to paid $100 for airport drove off.

Absurd pick-up procedures; bad attitude of the employees; there was not a single customer who did not have problems with the pick-up; they did not care that in my case I have a 10-month-old baby who had to wait more than an hour to be able to do an absurd pick-up; the cars have faults, dents and dirt; the check-out was also terrible, I went to drop off the car and the store was not even open; the police recommended leaving the cars on the street and videos for our backup, it was a disaster I would never go back to rent a car there

My original rental experience was great. However, my plans had changed and I wanted to extend my rental. When I contacted an agent, she told me the charge to extend my rental would have been $500/day. I questioned her a number of times because I thought I misheard her. She confirmed that $500/day was the correct amount I would be charged if I kept the rental. I never got a good reason for this. Very disappointed.

Prices were jacked up mich higher than normal. Staff offered me a small SUV over the sedan I originally reserved but it turned out to be a lousy bumpy ride, intolerable at highway speeds due to the vibration at 75mph and greater. On the plus side, it didn't break down

1. no signs for Europcar- confusing. have to to to Fox rental. 2. This requires taking a shuttle, which i wanted to avoid. 3. going to the counter and being inundated with possible uncharges is a bad experience. 4. also, in a moment of weakness I elected for prepaying for the gas refill. I was going to be driving 2 hours away... turns out I was charged $.15/gal over the going rate. ugh. next time I will go with a more direct simple rental experience.

There were 5 people In line. It took 2 hours to get to the desk. Many employees came in and saw the back up but instead of helping the customers, they chatted with other employees and chatted with the only person behind the counter, slowing the process even more. The vehicle was very dirty. The mileage on my paper work said the vehicle had 200k miles when it only had 150k on the odometer. The paper work said the gas was at 3/4 of a tank. The vehicle actually only had 1/4 tank. The A/C knobs were broken. The steering wheel was sticky and there was dirt of the passenger seat and trash on the floor in the back.

The car itself was fine. Pick up was complicated and delayed, and after waiting more than 30 minutes, I had to call for pick up to the offsite (kind of creepy/ isolated) site. And then we began the haggling- extra “compulsory “ insurance, extra daily charge for tolls, my car insurance not being sufficient. Essentially attempts to quadruple what I expected to be the “total” rental price. It’s such a racquet.

The pricing was utterly "un-transparent". CarRental8.com charged us $277 for the week. But, in the fine print (though without specifying the amount), it turned out that OC Car Rental had other charges -- to the tune of $222 (a $20/day charge for "mandatory supplementary liability insurance" -- despite the fact that I am covered by my regular auto insurance - and a $35 "car rental center fee" and a $25 "enhanced disinfecting cleaning fee" and a $14 "surcharge"). This is truly despicable behavior by a car rental agency, and I do plan to report it to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.

When we finally landed and got in touch with the company, I was told that my reservation that I had already paid for had been canceled since we hadn't picked up the car on time (due to something completely beyond my control.) I traveled for business and processed this reservation online through Kayak with a business card. When I landed at the airport to pick up my rental car, the woman at the counter informed me it was not paid for just "reserved" and they couldn't charge the same card. A rental car for an entire week is A LOT of money to pay when you are under the assumption it is already paid for. This was definitely not communicated clearly in the booking process. I have rented cars several other times at a variety of places and this was not the process previously. When I returned the car to the airport, not a single counter was manned. All counters had signs pointing to each other saying "if no one is at this counter please go to the (insert company name here) counter".....but nobody was there. I finally settled on putting the keys for my National rental in the Enterprise dropbox on the counter because it was the only safe way to return it.

BEWARE!! SCAM OUTFIT!! Stay away from this rental service. I leased a car for family members flying in from Seattle, paying in advance thru booking.com.for car and for “Full” insurance policy. When they got to the counter the Agent said they were “required” to purchase additional insurance that was vastly higher than the amount I already paid and that the daily car price was even higher. They added several bogus charges on top of that. My relatives were given no choice but to pay the nearly triple amount or be shuttled back to the airport and start over with another company. They were not alone. The woman next to them was in tears from the same treatment. STAY AWAY!!!

I reserved this as a referral from Kayak to Rentalcars.com. Their website, along with the confirmation email stated a "Total Cost" of $111.72. When I picked up the car, the agent presented me with "additional local costs" amounting to an additional $71.18. This included an unheard of "Pickup Fee" for $10.00 and "Dropoff Fee" for $10.00. I have never been charged these from any rental agency, anywhere in the world prior to this. None of these "additional local" charges were listed anywhere before pickup. The contract stated "Total Cost" of $111.72, and that's what I expected. In addition, the $250.00 "security deposit" has not been refunded or credited to my credit card as of yet. I have tried all morning to reach the agency to inquire about this. They answered only after about 30 minutes of putting me on hold. The representative could not give me any reasonable answers about the additional charges, but said the security deposit would take 5-10 business days. I will monitor that. Please remove Global Car Rental from your list of agencies. They have committed what I believe is a classic case of Bait and Switch.

I’ve rented hundreds of cars from many different car rental companies, but Zezgo takes the cake for the absolute WORST experience ever. While I understand they’re a budget rental company, it doesn’t cost money to treat people like actual human beings. They have deceptive business practices and try to charge you for so many additional fees that they never told you about upfront. Kayak needs to end this partnership asap…just look at their reviews. They have a 1.1 out of 5 star rating on Trust Pilot. Do better kayak!

Terrible experience. They refused to accept my insurance card, despite my calling GEICO and having them send a binder that explicitly stated it covered ALL RENTAL CARS. The agent, Patricia was polite and I do believe she tried, but it is crazy(and I believe illegal) to require you pay for your own liability insurance that is mandated by law, anyway... But to refuse to accept valid insurance and insist on charging a large amount in order to rent is completely unethical(and likely illegal). I had to get an Uber to another rental place after spending more than an hour there. The shuttle was courteous and Patricia was polite and respectful even as she complimented the policies that I understand were not hers

If you live in Florida and rent a car in Florida they’ll put a 2K hold in your cc and you have 100miles per day limit. So, you have an extra fee for unlimited miles, unlimited tolls plus the hold. If this is your escenario (live and rent to use in Florida) I don’t recommend them.

Took too long for pickup. Tried to upsell for everything! Barely spoke English! Wanted proof of insurance and wanted to charge $45 a day for their insurance even though I was already insured. Finally left without a car and went to Alamo and had great service! In the hours I was at surprise car rental not one customer was happy with the service or the car they rented! I will never use this company again and strongly recommend others do not! I will be getting a refund!

It took awhile for the shuttle bus to get to the airport for pickup. My insurance provides coverage for rental cars. Unknown to me, they require a copy of my insurance policy to 'verify' that I have that coverage, or else I have to buy their insurance coverage. My flight was delayed and I got to their facility about 8pm. She said I was supposed to have picked up my car by noon and would 'have to see if they still have a car available and if they could verify that my original rental fees were still available". They decided to let me have the car. It is dark outside and they have the black vehicle out in a dark area where I am supposed to inspect it for any damage. I brought the card back in to her where I marked that I didn't see any obvious damage, but trying to see any surface scratches or scrubs was impossible. She said, 'you didn't write the mileage down''. I said the rental agency normally does that. I went back out and got the mileage. At this point I was frustrated and really needed to get on the road as I had a 1.5 hour drive to get where I had to go and be up for a very early meeting. I have never gotten a rental that didn't have a full tank of gas, EVER. About 10 minutes down the road it started to rain and I was trying to figure out the wipers. I then noticed it only had a 1/2 tank of gas!! When I got back I mentioned this to the lady behind the counter. She said it was my problem because I was supposed to inspect the car before taking it. Lesson learned when dealing with Surprice!!

Sorry was the worst experience ever no one at airport knew this company. I even rented a taxi to take me to the car rental and the taxi man drove me around around the airport charged me $40 and did not find a set car rental called them numerous of times never answered finally they answered pick me up 45 to an hour later went to pick up the car was not very happy with the car they wanted to give me so I had to walk out and leave and I’m just waiting for a refund. Thank you.

It was a little confusing to find the right pickup location for the shuttle at the airport. And when we got to the office they didn't show our reservation. So they had to download it in order to find it which took time. Also they had some requirements that wasn't on the original rental info like they required of $500 deductible Insurance in order for us to use our own insurance.

I was charged significantly more than what I had booked the car for. They charged me for the liability insurance and did not give me an option without it. The offsite location was cumbersome and confusing. There was no one on site. They used a virtual kiosk which is fine, but had I known that I would’ve spent a little extra and gone to one of the major brands and picked it up at the airport. The car was about what I expected for a cheap rental car, that in the end wasn’t very cheap. It ended up being far more expensive than it should’ve been for the car that I ended up with. Overall a poor experience and I will not rent with them again if I make a similar trip.

I arrived at 10:00 pm at the MCO, by the time to get the shuttle all the stations were closed. I didn’t get the car and no one was answering the phone. I had to rent a car from Avance for 5 times the money since I didn’t have a reservation. They haven’t even refunded the money yet.

The pick up process wad complicated. You have to speak to someone on a screen, and then they require that you go around the vehicle and take a lot of pictures to stay within the contract requirements. This made the pickup process complicated and stressful. Once familiar with the process, the drop off was easier and I would think it’s easy going forward, but it was complicated the first time.

Waited an hour to get the car plus the shuttle to the building. There is lots of fine print. So fees, fees, fees. The $15 car turned out to be about $30. I would have just gone to the big name brand to be in and out for a little more. $500 hold on credit card. $10 a day over 75 fee. $20 mandatory collision if you don't have it from your insurance. $6 a gallon for fuel fill up surcharge. $15 a day for toll plate activation. There's more but I can't remember. I think they also said they can't use debit cards only credit cards? They don't accept American Express. That's what I can remember. Beware!!

They never came to pick us up at the airport and we had to rent a car from another rental agency. We were texting and speaking to them immediately after we landed and they kept telling us someone would be there to shuttle us to the car rental agency but no one ever showed up until they finally closed for the night and then no one would answer the phone when we called. They wasted an hour an a half of my time promising us that a shuttle was on the way but no one ever came and we had to take an Uber to our hotel. So terrible experience with Kayak and OtoQ

The shuttle driver was nice other than that because I booked a package I didn't know that they would not take my car insurance and made me pay for their insurance. $5000 dollar deductible! Really! My fault on this one. Also tried to get me to pay a penalty for going through 2 tolls. I have been driving Orlando for 30 plus years and didn't go through a toll. He said it says it on the computer that I went through 2, show me the screen. No, show me the date and time. No! Then no I'm not paying. Called credit card company right away. The whole process with this company feels like a scam. The listed prices are dirt cheap to lure you in, but once you’re there to pick up the car, they hit you with a series of mandatory add-ons that massively inflate the cost. They insult your intelligence with how they justify these charges. For example, they force you to pay for daily tolls—something no other rental company does. Then there’s the insurance scam: even if you show proof of valid insurance, they pretend to run it and claim it doesn’t meet their ridiculous $500,000 bodily injury requirement. Are we flying jets now? To make matters worse, their pickup service is a disaster—I waited nearly an hour after landing before they finally came to get me. This company operates on deceptive practices and should be avoided. Cheap price, expensive headache.

Our flight got delayed so I called and told them they told me to just pick the car up in the morning of the next day. When I called in the morning they said that they released the reservation and the car was no longer available. So basically I paid for a car and couldn't get it so I had to get another car from a different rental company. Lost the money for the complete reservation and had to pay for two cars.

The good: they had a car as promised. The not good: they lured me in with a “too good to be true” price a week prior to arrival; then informed me I needed to carry an absurd amount of insurance on my policy, otherwise I need to purchase their insurance at $35 per day. No effort was made to make me aware of this policy prior to arriving. By then you’ve taken the shuttle way outside the airport; and your basically stuck with a huge bill you weren’t planning on. Better to be upfront with customers re: the real cost of the rental before committing to it. But again, they did have a car available.

Staff was very friendly !! Car was clean and very reliable. Although I was not expecting an extra $230 in fees that I had to pay when I got there. I paid $52 for the 3 days I was going to be there when I made the reservation, but when I got there I had to pay an extra $230. They advertised it to be $7/day + tax which was a great deal so I jumped on it. Because of that I won’t rent from them again. I’ll stick with the rentals at the airport.

Disappointed enough to not request more of your services because I closed the business and when I arrived at the agency they demanded a new insurance and asked me for an extra $650. Everything must be dealt with before, both the price, requirements and documentation and when the client pays, the business is closed, and it is criminal that we cleinyes are surprised when we arrive for what we buy or lease. President Baiden said that these bad practices must end so that there is confidence and business is generated in the country. You are ruining the system. Now I want my money back in full since I had to rent a car elsewhere.

1- I paid for a For Fusion or similar and they gave me a very small car. 2-I paid for rental insurance through one of KAYAK’s partners (rentalcover.com) and Addcar would not accept it. I had to pay almost double for additional coverage through Addcar. 3-It seems like Addcar and KAYAK are not on the same page at all

The customer service was terrible and they sub charge and add a lot of fees at the time of pick up the online reservations are not accurate, they doubled the price trying add services you don’t need like “toll activation fee per day” . I ordered an suv and got a sedan and then had to wait past my reservation time to get the car swapped to an SUV.

No option for the vehicle. Vehicle delivered with only 3/8 of gas. The rear safety belt buckle are missing. I need to remove the back seat to put my baby car seat and for my mother safety belt. After take the highway the vehicle with more than 70k miles vibrate at 50mph. I call for a car change and they don't have alternative for me. Today eight days later the deposit of my $200 continue in hold and the recepcionist told me she only made appointments and i need to made a claiim via email for the refund. Poor customer service.

I was not able to get the car due to misleading information from your site. I was told that that wrack a rent was located at MCO airport. It was off site. Upon arrival ,I was told that toll payment information was given to me upon renting. That was not so. I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SITE AGAIN , AND WILL INFORM ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY of your poor business practice.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. TERRIBLE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. From the start our reservation seemed off as I had been careful to select rental companies that were in the terminal at MCO but then after I booked I got an email that notified me this would require a 10min shuttle ride. I went along with it anyway. Then we get to the rental site and it's not even a Wrent A Wreck, they are actually called APM Car Rental. This was another red flag. Since we'd already booked we proceeded though. We were then charged a ton of extra fees. We were supposed to pay another $50usd on arrival to complete our booking (we'd already paid the bulk at time of reservation). We ended up being charged another $319 usd to get a car! This isn't even the worst if it. After spending a long time in the office and spending much more money than we had planned, we finally left with our car. We then drove about 10 minutes down the road and the car broke down. We called back the rental and they were extremely rude but said they would send somebody. We waited almost 2 hours in Florida heat with an infant baby and the whole time they would say somebody was on their way every time we called. That was obviously not the case since their office was not even 10 minutes away. When they finally came they had to jump the battery because it was dead even though they had been claiming we had done something to the car, they clearly gave us a car with a bad battery and finally replaced it with another car of the exact same model. Over the course of the few days that we had this car it broke down again and we had to jump the battery because they would not come help us or replace the car. The tire also blew out shortly after they gave it to us which we also had to change ourselves because they would not help even though they gave us a bad car. The rental company admitted that they had not inspected the second car they gave us since they were in a hurry to replace the first. If that is the case we should not be held responsible for the issues that were existing with the second car, but we were. Overall a terrible rental experience and we barely drove the car for the remainder of our trip because it was so unreliable and we had to rely on family members to give us rides. The company was very rude and refused to give us a credit for these issues. After we returned the car we thought that our issues with this company were behind us, we were wrong. In the week that followed, we were charged extra fees instead of getting credits back. First we were charged an additional fee a few days after drop off of car, then that fee expanded into a larger amount that we found on our credit card bill with no notification or explanation from the rental company. We have since been chasing them for answers and to try and get our money back with no response. We have now spent more on this car rental than our plane tickets! We have now been charged 5 times what we booked. This company is truly terrible, they trick people into thinking they are Rent A Wreck but actually they are another company completely and they offer terrible service and many extra charges. I have never had such a bad travel or customer service experience in my life.

They charged me hidden fees. I had to agree with their terms in order to rent a car at the counter because i needed a car.. I prepaid car rental when i booked it through Kayak. They charged me additional $102.08 for 2 days rental when I get there. I called customer service afterwards but they all had heavy accents and could not communicate. It’s a scam. I want refund of $102.08.
