Pros: My boyfriend and I stayed here one day and one night during a coastal road trip. The view from our condo and the pure coziness of everything and the beauty of the grounds made us want to stay for a whole week! It was my boyfriends birthday and I purchased the celebration package for him and Aaron went above and beyond with it! The grounds are beautiful and well kept and I can't wait to bring my family back to this gem!
Pros: The apartment was like new with excellent views of the beach and headlands. Excellent for family dog too. Good for both fair and foul weather.
Starfish Point offers airport pick-up service during limited hours. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and condos offer upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs.
Pros: Everything was great, except for the wifi connection. We ended up needing to use our data instead in order to do anything requiring the internet. Overall a lovely and romantic stay.
Pros: The beach view was just as great as Maui (in a different way) if not better. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, staff were beyond friendly, & plenty more! I was happy w the entire stay!
Pros: Oceanfront room with gas fireplace on a chilly day. Very clean and comfortable. Very nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Hallmark Resort - Newport is a great choice for your beach stay in Newport. The indoor pool provides a splash of fun, and guests can also take advantage of a fitness center and a spa tub. Offering ocean views, Georgies Beachside Grill serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with balconies or patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Let me state that the advertising for this site are deceptive at best. Should be advertised as a Boutique hotel. That being said the place was clean, well kept up and secluded, if not for the surrounding properties you would think you were in a place time forgot. It reminded me of the family beach house my grandfather built back in the 20's. The amenities in the kitchen were fine and the kitchen was sparkling clean. The property is so quite and the beach so private. The fact is the place and its charm grow on you and you settle in to a comfortable state of mind that one does not often find in to days crazy fast pace. An experience in nostalgia, a look back if you are like me a child of the 40's & 50's.
Cons: As previously stated the place needs to be advertised as a boutique property. Explain the fireplaces are electric wall hangings. By comparing the average rates rates for the area I would consider this property about 15% overpriced when comparing amenities. The rate is equal to the Best Western at Agate beach which has food and beverage service and indoor pool among other things.

Pros: Quality clean, friendly staff, very accommodating
Pros: Everything else
Pros: We had an upgrade to a king suite, which was very pleasant. The facilities were nice and the staff kind. The bed was comfortable and the location in Nye Beach is great. In room french press and coffee was pleasant. Access to games and DVDs was great for our family.
Cons: We didn't have direct beach access from the Inn due to construction that blocked the staircase. The room was also difficult to keep warm enough, especially the bathroom.
Enjoy your visit to Newport with a stay at Inn at Nye Beach. Guests can enjoy the spa tub or take advantage of nearby hiking/biking trails. Nice touches like fireplaces, premium bedding, and rainfall showerheads are offered up in all rooms.
Pros: The view was Great and the weather perfect. Sunny and windless. Even if it had been raining and windy it was still a great place to watch rough weather, Room was very comfortable. Kitchen had all the right stuff and everything was very clean. Bed was very comfortable - no complaints there.
Pros: Tha location overlooking the Newport Bay is very nice and relaxing. Great view. Close proximity to the historic bay front. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.
Cons: The pillows were not the best, very firm and not comfortable.
Situated on the bay, The Landing at Newport is a great choice for a stay in Newport. Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Condos offer up nice touches like fireplaces and premium bedding, along with flat-screen TVs and DVD players.
Cons: Overpriced for average in everything but the location
Pros: The staff
Cons: The mattress was due to be replaced
Pros: My husband and I stayed here 1 night but wish we stayed longer! The staff was super friendly. The room was a nice size and included a couch and fireplace. The view was lovely even considering the foggy weather we were given. Would definitely make a point to visit here again!
Cons: The elevator is slow
Pros: The hotel was tastefully done and very homey
Pros: No surprises. Good bed and linens. Appreciate the in house laundry"
Pros: Love this hotel. The beach views are fantastic. Room had a great balcony overlooking the ocean, and a nice fireplace.
The staff was friendly.
We stayed there 2 nights - room has a fridge, which is nice.
My kids loved the pool.
Cons: I was not a fan of the breakfast. The sausage gravy was not very good, and the eggs did not look appealing.
To be fair, most hotels offer a "free hot breakfast", and IMO, most are not very good, so I am not surprised.
Pros: Very romantic waterfront Hotel we had an excellent stay and will definitely be back
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like

Pros: We were right across from the beach. The room was super clean and modern. The staff were so kind and helpful.
Cons: Nothing, I would stay there again
Pros: Staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpfu.
Cons: I wish they included recycle bins in the room. The hotel did not seem very eco-friendly.
Pros: Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, lots of pillows
Cons: Cable TV
Pros: Comfort Inn is always a good value. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
Pros: Cleanliness, professional staff, great value for the money, proximity to beachfront.

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access to 101
Cons: Heater did not work. Tried multiple times and multiple options. Front desk agent at check out credited a small amount back - but did not change having an elderly parent cold overnight...
Pros: Loved that there was an indoor pool and hot tub. Close to the aquarium. Lobby was clean, warm and inviting. Even decorated for Halloween.
Cons: Our room had a very funky smell to it. Room 209.
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: Reserved two nights, schedule changed and only needed one. Still charged for two and they told me there was nothing they could do.
Pros: She room was really nice.
Cons: Mosquitoes in the area got into the front area.
Cons: There was absolutely no ocean view like the pictures suggested. when I booked a suite I expected a bedroom in its own room. Not a half wall dividing a pull out couch with an inch thick mattress that was slanted. I have a toddler and thanks to the misrepresentation we had to be in bed with him at 8:30. The front desk did nothing to aid my complaints besides tell me I read the website wrong. This room was definitely not worth the $200 a night I paid for it and I will never be returning to this hotel.
Pros: The pool and the hot tub worked well for us.
The staff were great.
Close to the aquarium.
Cons: Our hotel's view was of the hotel next door parking lot with very bright lights.
But as the only hotel left in Newport that day,I'm not complaining!
Pros: Continental breakfast is always a plus. Beds were comfy and having a fridge in the room is a great point for my choice of hotels.

Cons: Very noisy with doors constantly banging and neighbours clearly heard. Not a relaxing stay at all. Also quite a strange smell. Housekeeping knocking on our door at 5pm. Glad to leave.
Pros: Everything. The staff was friendly, the room was very spacious and clean. We received 10% off at the Steakhouse right behind the hotel (and it was delicious), plus the free hot breakfast was very good. Overall, one of the best hotels I've stayed at.
Pros: Very convenient to beach. Nice swimming pool. Excellent on-site dining in the cafe. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. The bacon...yum! All staff that we encountered were polite and friendly. Good choice for families. Also dogs are allowed!
Cons: The air system in the room was out of date and made sleeping stuffy unless the door was left open. This used to be a Hilton, and now looks like there are a number of updates necessary....some holes in the wall..in dining room. Though everything was clean it had a bit of a tired look. However, I will say that I think it is an excellent lodging for families.
Pros: We love the location and ocean view this hotel offers. We arrived 3 hours before check in time and the staff had our room ready within 15 minutes and allowed us to check in early.
Cons: The room is not kid friendly, there was cords everwhere. My crawling 9 month old brought light to many open outlets and dangling cords throughout the entire room. We also saw several splatters of unknown substances around the rooms walls (gross) and on the headboard (even grosser).
Pros: We stayed with our children on the top floor. They loved it! The view was beautiful. We will be staying there in the future. It is close to the beach and they have a little hose to wash of sandy feet near the path up to the hotel. Pool room is great too!
Cons: We wish they offered a free breakfast.
Pros: The beds were comfortable and the hotel was clean.
Cons: It was a little too spendy.
Cons: The Starfish Grill, we ordered the special for breakfast. 2 waffles, 2 pieces of bacon. It came out, and it looked like 2 small freezer waffles. Very disappointed. I thought they would at leastsketch fresh breakfast, especially since we were paying for this. No free breakfast as BW has been advertising.
Pros: The only thing i liked about this hotel was how close it was to the beach.
Cons: My credit card was over charged 3 times! They over charged me a total of 229$ when I went to talk to the manager about this she said there was nothing I could do until tomorrow when you check out. So needless to say my vacation was ruined. I wasn't able to do as much as I had wanted to do. Then the next morning during check out she reversed all the fees. Later i checked my bank statement to see if the money was refunded and they had shorted me a dollar. I will never stay at this hotel again. Nor will i ever suggest it to anyone.
Pros: The 101 was shut down in the direction we were heading and we needed a hotel at the last minute. We got a good deal on the room, check in was snappy, room was comfy and clean.
Cons: The bathtub was a little uncomfortable.

Pros: Staff was friendly, room was clean and it was well located.
Cons: Hot tub wasn't working and the beds were really uncomfortable. We aren't high maintenance people but they were pretty solid and firm.
Pros: Beds are always comfy, like the microwave and fridgie in the room, room size is always generous however, the carpet in the room had large brown spots on it, the elevator was a tight squeeze and slow, and
the walls could use some new paint. We could also only get one seat in the breakfast room so my sister had to stand and eat.
Pros: What was not to like. This is not our first time staying at the hotel. We come up every year from California and this is always the place we stay at. Everyone is always nice and it's always clean.
Cons: Small breakfast room, had to wait for a seat
Pros: Bright lights on parking lot, HD programming
Cons: Soulless, boxy, long hallways
Pros: I wouldn't book this hotel for your anniversary. But we took our family to the aquarium and it was perfect!!!
A great value
Pool, fitness center
Great kind staff
Clean and updated for the coast
Cons: It's hard to walk to the bay front with kids because you need to cross the bridge
Pros: Pool, breakfast, staff. Location was great.

Cons: Waited for ever, him and family were eating or something. Finally shows up to the desk n is rude n short. Was in a bad place n was run down. Went to the Shilo was great n had good food. No pets ever which is against the law with service animals. Don't go place looked terrible...
Pros: The staff was great and offered me breakfast when I got there in the late afternoon . I told them I could not do stairs and they gave us a nice one on the ground floor.
Cons: It was not the staff's fault but three units down a couple was in the parking lot a midnight talking loudly . He wanted into her pants and she was loving the attention . Her name was Debbie . Debbie did not do Dudley.
Cons: Unit had no A/C. Not good on a warm summer day.
Pros: Good location, clean rooms, micro, fridge wifi. Nice chinese restaurant on location
Cons: No ac, but cool with good breeze

Pros: I appreciated that the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I had a problem with the booking company to upgrade my room, which was not acceptable.
I arrived at the resort and they were able to upgrade my room with no problem. I will go back again.
Pros: It's in the bay with a nice view
Cons: Room was about 25 years outdated, sub par cleanliness, and old room smell
Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina features a marina and a nightclub. Guests indulge in spa services, then grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. An indoor pool and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: A last minute decision to stay in Newport. There were no AirBnB's and this was a good option. The room and bathroom were clean.
Cons: People parked their SUV's in compact spots. The breakfast was grab N go, and super sugary. Anyone who was using the water you could hear the loud pipes through the walls. Too expensive for this place.
Pros: Clean rooms.
Cons: Breakfast very limited and not restocked very well.
Pros: The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The cleaning crew were very nice and the evening clerk was helpful.
Cons: The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Donuts, cereal, muffins and a little fruit was all that was offered. Coffee was to bitter to drink. The staff made you feel awkward while getting breakfast.
Only cool air is by opening the window so at night it was a little to warm to sleep.
Pros: My husband and i really liked that the facility had a hot tub and offered guests free continental breakfast each day. The room was very neat and clean, and our bed had lots of comfy pillows!
Cons: The building needed obvious updates. The "spa" was a hot tub that was not very hot and had no dial to turn up the temperature. Our continental breakfast was free fruit and a bowl of cereal. Not much continental about that!
Pros: The room was perfect size for me and my wife. The room was updated recently and you can tell they put money into the hotel to make it better. the room had a microwave and refrigerator which allowed us to have snacks in the room. the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was big. overall the experience was great and the people that worked there were friendly.
Cons: the only complaint i had was the seagulls that squawked all night but not the hotel's fault.
Pros: It was a good value for the price and centrally located. Staff was very good and was very hellpful.
Cons: Wifi sucks. It's older joint and needs some paint here and there.
The coastal city of Newport is enjoying the reputation as being the Riviera of Oregon coast line. Only 200 yards from the Pacific Ocean and seven miles stretch of white sand beach. Guests must be 21 years of age to check in.
Cons: Poor wifi. Terrible breakfast. Very small room
Cons: Air freshener was way too strong when we entered the room, my daughter's sinuses kept her up all night long.
Pros: Clean rooms and good breakfast selection. Low rates for a good clean hotel room.
Cons: Would be nice if they had a pool or spa.
Pros: conveniently located close to good restauarants
Cons: spotty wifi
Pros: You should stop emailing me after this
Cons: You emailing me 5 times
Pros: Easy to find and good location on main highway through town. Room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Wish breakfast had diabetic options.
A total renovation of this property was completed in May 2011. Our 100 Percent Smoke Free Hotel features luxurious beds, extended continental breakfast, free wireless internet service, free parking, and a well trained experienced Front Office Staff available 24 hours a day
Pros: Location is the best part. You can walk to the bay and brewery. Downtown area just over the bridge and down to the right!
Cons: It was hot as hell in the 3rd floor. No AC, carpet sticky. Smelled like asshole. Very stinky. Okay clean. Staff ok. TV nice. Nothing special. It's good for a quick stay. Stayed two nights. would not stay again. Only if nothing else was available. You get what you pay for.
Pros: Pretty bedspreads
Cons: Staff was quite rude. Half used limes, salt and dirty glasses were under the beds.
Pros: This hotel was super nice for what we paid for it!
Cons: Doesn't have AC but it was not to warm when we stayed! We were able to open a window!
Pros: Great place with a great price. Walking distance to the Oregon Aquarium and Rogue Brewery. Easy access on and off the highway.
Pros: The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. This hotel is located on the south end of the Yaquina Bay Bridge...within walking distance you will find, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Some cute tourist shops, and the Rouge Ales Brewers on the Bay. You can see the bay and bridge from some windows so ask for a view if you want one.
Cons: Our view was that of the RV park behind the hotel. Upon entering the room it smelled strongly of crab...I have a feeling the last guests cleaned their crab here....and minutes later I did see some young men carrying 2 big ice chests into their room...that I could only guess were full of sea food. The room was clean enough although the walls do need a good wipe down. I did not feel welcomed to sit on the couch as it seemed quite dirty and it had a rip in the arm of the chair that was "patched up" with some cloth of the same fabric and some glue. The fireplace was inoperable. All 3 vending machines were also out of order. There was only a VCR in our room however they do loan out VHS' in the lobby. The continental breakfast was half of a muffin and coffee.
Pros: Location was very convenient for us
Cons: No wifi
Motel 6 Newport is conveniently located off of US-101 at S Pacific Hwy, and within 2 miles of the historic and picturesque Nye Beach! Visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium, just several blocks away. Our guest rooms include micro-fridge units and free Wi-Fi.
Pros: Checked out little late but they were totally cool with it. Folks working the front desk and cleaning was done very well.
For the price, I really can't complain. Close to all the surf spots near Newport.
Pros: If you are looking for a clean, decent hotel room close to the beach and attractions but are on a budget, this is a great place to stay. Friendly staff, great location and very clean. Bed was very comfortable too!
Pros: Despite the name, the room was clean, bed was soft, they're located just up the hill from Rogue Brewery and a lot of adorable shops on the inner side of the Newport bay, and the beach on the other side. It seems weird to mention but the window opens - something a lot of hotels at this price level have sealed shut. That's great with what nice weather you get most of the year.
Cons: The name kind of implies something a lot worse. There was a loud argument between 2 people in one of the adjacent rooms, but, I've had that at pricey hotels, so, not very relevant.
Pros: I booked the day we came on Spring BREAK so I was thrilled I got something at all. But the bonus was the family who ran it was cheerful and polite. You could tell by the grouds and rooms they took in pride in their property. The only thing I'd change is the bed, it was a tad squeaky due to the plastic on the box spring. We'd definitely stay again.
Pros: You get what you pay for.
Cons: Old and musty. Good enough for a one nighter
Pros: Short walk to beach access. Staff were friendly.
Cons: I said I wanted a quiet room, they think the highway side is quieter but in no way is that remotely true.
There was sticky brown substance on the microwave buttons, there was sticky clear substance on bathroom floor. There was an overpowering floral/fruit scent permeating the room which never subsided even with door and window wide open.
Situated by the ocean, this motel is within a 10-minute walk of Yaquina Bay Bridge, Yaquina Bay State Park, and Burrows House Museum. Fishermen's Memorial Sanctuary and Yaquina Bay Lighthouse are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: We enjoyed the pool, and the hotel is a short walk to beach access.
Cons: Our room was very hot and smelled awful when we arrived. We left the window open the whole time and the smell became tolerable. The continental breakfast doesn't start until 8. We paid for ocean view and had an OK view over a neighboring roof and through power lines and a power pole.
Pros: I loved the ocean view from my room. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The indoor pool was much nicer than I anticipated - very clean, with a nice hot tub and sauna. Because weather at the coast can be unpredictable, it was nice to have an indoor pool as back-up entertainment for me and my young child. I was also pleasantly surprised by the "continental breakfast." We had cereal, bagels, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, and more available to us. I'm not really looking for luxury in a hotel but, rather, clean, safe, well-located at a reasonable price and The Waves definitely delivered.
Cons: Though you can see the ocean right out your window, beach access is rather far away. I didn't realize that going in, so it was a mild disappointment. But this was minor.
Pros: We came and stayed for 2 nights. Room was very clean. It was designated non-smoking. Shower had plenty of hot water (I have not always seen this to be true in economy hotels). Rooms were quiet (or maybe we were lucky and had quiet neighbors). Towels were of good quality. Although they used those really tiny bars of soap, housekeeping left a pile of them. The mattresses and pillows were average but fine. Although we did not need it, I was happy to see a clearly marked, easily accessible coin-operated guest laundry. Did I mention it was very clean? The hotel was an easy, several block walk into the historic district of Nye Beach.
Breakfast was very adequate - a selection of breads with butter and jam, freezer waffles, hard-cooked eggs, cold cereals, fruit juice. The fruit bowl had lots of bananas. It was nothing fancy, but was completely adequate.
Room also had dish tv and a DVD player. There was an eclectic selection of movies for rent in office.
Cons: There was no direct beach access, which was disappointing. The one small window did not prop open very well, and that kept the room warmer than it needed to be (daytime temperatures were very warm). There are no balconies. No fan to help at window. The building we were in did not have an elevator and the climb to the 3rd floor was inconvenient (my knees are not good), although we liked our 3rd floor room. If we stay there again, I will remember to ask for the building with an elevator. My family did not mind not having the elevator.
I hated that several guests came to breakfast in pajamas (really??!) - but that's not the hotel's fault!
Decor was dated, but that would not prevent me from staying there again! There was a small alarm clock, that was not plugged in, but we had our cell phones, which we used for alarm clocks.
Pros: The pool was nice
Cons: It wasn't clean the floor was dirty and there where ain't in the bathroom and near the window
Cons: facility not well maintained; faded, unfinished paint
not very clean
rooms have musty smell
old carpets, old bedding, old drapery
sheets did not fit bed even after request made that they do fit
not much effort being made, obviously
Cons: Rude, dirty
Pros: The ocean view is breathtaking. Down town Ney beach is wonderful. Fun for every age, from cafe to coffee, and dinner to drinks. This has it all.
Cons: Have to walk or drive 1/4 mile to acsess beach. But the view from our room was worth the walk.
Pros: Was able to hear the ocean at night
Cons: I'm not a picky person, but maid service should be able to vacuum around the bed and walls had not been done in sometime. Gap under door was large enough to let light in and shower was extra small with out proper shower curtain. Front desk person was not happy that we arrived after 10:00pm. Sorry our jobs do not allow us to leave early in day. But my next stay in Newport will be with a motel that wants me there.
Pros: The swimming pool area was great. It was clean and plenty of towels Nice view of the ocean. Staff was very nice and acccomodating.
Cons: Rooms were a bit stuffy and the beds were too hard for my liking.
Situated by the ocean, The Waves of Newport is a great choice for a stay in Newport. You can get a morning swim in at the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with DVD players and free WiFi.
The Lightkeeper Inn on the Bay offers accommodations in Newport. The rooms have a TV with satellite channels. You will find a coffee machine in the room. Each room includes a private bathroom. Lincoln City is 23 miles from The Lightkeeper Inn on the Bay, and Yachats is 22 miles away. The nearest airport is Eugene/Mahlon Sweet Field Airport, 54 miles from The Lightkeeper Inn on the Bay.
Pros: Location. Very close to beach and 24 hour taco shop
Pros: Liked having my own inclosed balcony, frige and microwave. Quiet but very full. No problems sleeping.
Cons: Staff didnt want to open the door to the office to my mother and I. He only let us in after we had to yell through the door that I had a reservation. No knowledge of the area and very hard to understand. It was ok just a bit of an unsettling experience with the manager. Would recommend to people that good at dealing with people but people with social anxiety stay away. I dont have a lot of problems handling people but being a woman staying alone in a room the managers adittude made me feel like if I was having a emergency he wouldnt be much help.
Pros: The hotel is inexpensive.
Cons: There is no breakfast included, which means you should factor that into the cost per night. The hotel is dated and hasn't been updated. I never could connect to the wi-fi, and ended up connecting to the Days Inn next door.
Pros: It was cheap and in Newport. Two things we wanted.
Cons: I'm ok withhotel wear but this one was definitely down a notch or two. There were holes in the blankets, the bathroom sink faucet was broken, the towel rack was broken off, the sheets didn't fit and no mattress encasement. Needed basic maintenance.
Pros: The people were very helpful and polite and the room was perfect, for the price i will never stay anywhere else when i go to the coast.
Cons: no, it had everything i expected
Pros: the room was very clean.... the rate was great!!!!
Pros: The location was the best thing about this hotel, but there are lots of other hotels in the area. Spend the extra 10 bucks a night to upgrade to stay anywhere else. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay there again.
Cons: It was absolutely disgusting. Stains on walls, the floor, mold on the shower curtain, the lock on the door didn't work, dirty hand/fingerprints around doors and light switches.also, they advertise wifi but they dont offer it to guests.
Pros: Was right in the city.
Cons: It was dirty. It had a very bad mildew smell. Cigarette burns all over bathtub. Had to run the water for 20 mins before jt would get warm. Was very run down and almost everything was broken.
Pros: The bathroom was awesome roomy and great for us
Cons: The staff was rude and we got charged extra for kids when I filled out the form I said I was bringing two kids. The beds could use another blanket and a couple bigger pillows.
Cons: Several pieces broken in the room, WiFi not very reliable
Cons: Dirty and dated. 13' TV hanging on the wall that had a picture that was not watchable. Stains on carpeting beyond cleaning. I got what I payed for this room. What killed me is I wanted to add a night and the price almost doubled to 4 star room pricing!
Pros: I liked free parkng ,lots of towels, comfortable beds, pet friendly room.
Cons: they need to update bathroom fixtures, lites and faucets .Need lamp at table for studing or games.
Cons: after driving four or five hours to reach this destination, we were greeted with a sign informing us that the office was closed until 8 the following morning.
The front door appears to have been kicked in before. But it had been fixed so it locks securely. It will not take much to improve this facility if the proprietor cared.
Pros: The bed linens were actually fresh and clean. Bed was comfortable. It had all the basic appliances like fridge and microwave, television.
Cons: The bath tub had soap scum. Husband got shocked from coming in contact with the TV platform. TV was grainy. Stayed for 2 nights, garbage were not collected. No fresh towels. No wash cloths, no shampoo. Toilet flusher broke. Mirrors dirty. Bath mat stained
Ant issue made me immediately go purchase raid, I wanted cheap motel so I put up with faults of motel. Reading about faults made me an informed consumer.
Pros: The price was as expected, after reading other reviews I wasn't surprised when manager tried to up charge rate. I just looked at him for a few seconds without smiling and then asked him to explain the added 50 dollars, he stammered and said he was kidding
Cons: Dishonesty of manager, ants, manager placed us as far as possible from entrance although plenty of vacancy. One towel for family of four, reading reviews I knew to bring own towels and double check for bed bugs.

Pros: covered and somewhat enclosed passageways - helped muffle hwy 101; saw ocean but would have liked to hide houses between hotel and ocean. continental breakfast. friendly staff. comfortable bed. Sue
Pros: Beds not so comfortable
Pros: Walking distance to beach and Nye Beach area. Staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast bar very small with only a single coffee pot; selection mediocre. Grounds untidy and messy & smelly garbage container near rooms and ice machine. Building needs upgrades and repair.
Pros: The breakfast was awesome with eggs, waffles, cereal, juices, hot chocolate, fruit, bagels, muffins and probably more. Knocks $20+ off the price of the stay, in my opinion.
Cons: Check-in was a minor hassle because of Costco firing American Express and switching to CitiBank Visa cards. This resulted in the credit card I used to book the room earlier this year being denied when we attempted to check in. Apparently, our reservation was cancelled because we were not at the motel at 3:00 P.M. However, the receptionist was able to get approval to reinstate the reservation within 10-15 minutes and we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Way over priced for cheap nasty motel.
Pros: Nice staff. Decent breakfast.
Cons: No elevator. Funny smell to room. Lumpy mattress. Place has a very old and worn feel to it.
