Small and cozy hotel with homey atmosphere. Located on a street with the feel of a small village within the city. Farms, shops and restaurants nearby. Access Metro: Place Monge, Line 7. Bus: Number 47. Access Concorde St. Germain des Pres only a 15 minute walk from the Notre Dame Cathedral. Required extra bedding is free for one child 12 or under when sharing with two parents/grandparents - subject to availability of suitable rooms. Breakfast is served from 6.30am until 10.30am.
The location was cool. Not really near too much tourism. It was about a 15 min walk to Notre Dame which was nice but it felt like we didn't even really need to leave or block. Keep in mind we were only there for 2 days. But there were a bunch of restaurants and bars and shops right underneath the hotel. And you could head north, east, south, or west and you could find another bulk of things to do.
Room was very small. Not really a negative cuz we didn't need a big room but I could see where someone else would be upset about it.
The hotel was very close to the place I was working and the restaurants
I did not like the shower being so dirty
the staff and the location... both were excellent!
the rooms are too small.
Its location and helpful friendly daytime staff on Reception. They could do nothing about the three days of heavy rain we had. I'm sure they would have if they were able.
Re room 22....The drain hole in hand basin was blocked and took an age to drain away. Dirty water came back up into the bowl everytime we used the hand basin. Quite revolting. It was reported on our first day but was not dealt with !!
The hotel is wayyyyyyyyy over-priced. Lots of similar, more affordable options in the neighbourhood.
Actually, when I booked the room on booking.com, it said 'standard room', but actually the room was 'deluxe'. So, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. The man at the front desk was very friendly and nice.
AsI unexpectedly stayed in deluxe room, the hotel was comfortable enough, but I am not sure if this also applies with other standard rooms.
Friendly staff Clean room
It's abit noisy from the street at night if you have a window open
Location was very good. Many nice restaurants nearby. We had a room facing the back courtyard, which was quiet.
Don't have nonsmoking rooms and ours smelled strongly of smoke. Rooms are very small and the bedspreads were not clean. Bathrooms very tiny.
The staff, particularly the afternnoon reception staff, were all very friendly and helpful. I liked the area, touristy but not too expensive and an easy walk or metro to other places.
I would like all day tea and coffee facilities. Also, the cups in the room were made of thin plastic. I wore my drinks more than once because they split so easily.
location is good
rooms were tiny, showers are ridiciously small
Maid service and breakfasts
The room was incredibly small
