Nice room, wonderful poolside, friendly staff.
very good hotel, nice room
The staff was very servic-minded. The internett was free. It was nice when the children was playing at the childrens-room we parents could sitt in the "cafe" and see the children. We stayed in the 3th floor and we have a baby-troller. It was no lift so we had to carry it up and down.
Friendly staf, especially towards our infant who was with us. Modern and clean rooms.
Staff at the reception desk not particularly friendly or welcoming unlike the rest of the hotel staff.
very well run, clean, quiet, brilliant staff, tastefully decorated no
The rooms are all located in a building shaped like a half circle facing the ocean, with a beautiful lawn in the the middle and a pleasant pool with a pool bar. The beach front villas are outside this circle and provide maybe more privacy (we saw a wedding being carried in one of them, that was beautiful). We booked the "Lanai" room which has its own terrace with private sun beds which was really lovely. Your bed than faces the terrace so you see only sun and green in the morning. The hotel has a direct beach access with lots of sun beds and shade. It is so comfortably done that wherever you decide to lie down there you have it just a couple of steps to the restaurant, the sea or the pool. The only disadvantage of this Ramada is that there is nothing much around (when compared to the hotels one two kilometers more to the south in Khao Lak) - few shops and also very few restaurants. In between, there are just pieces of bush or empty land, although we suspect this can still be relics of the tsunami which last here longer than elsewhere in this area (?).
Excellent staff, lovely rooms and great value for money Nothing
it is really a nice property with good food and friendly staff.. Nice: open -air-cinema in the evening at the beach :-)
Great location, staff and rooms. Free transfer from my other hotel in Khao Lak to Ramada. Reasonable prices, I went there in October and did not see the sun for 4 days but if you go there outside monsoon, you will have the trip of a lifetime. I stayed at the Oasis superior room, close to the reception area. Which was somewhat noisy after 7-8 am due to people outside the area.
Superb location - 2 Excellent Pools with plentiful chairs and sunbeds; great beach at the front which is deserted - a real paradise. The room I had was extremely comfortable and relaxing. Staff very friendly. Only place ever to relax me fully - I thought this was not possible! You will love it - cannot recommend highly enough - will definitely return. Try it - you will not be disappointed. There is a cheap taxi service into Khao Lak from the Hotel - about 15 minutes drive. This Hotel is a luxury oasis. Nothing at all
Very quiet and relaxing area. Long beautiful sandy beaches. Good on-site restaurant. Very helpful hotel staff Some of the "extra" services (e.g. spa and massages) were a bit over priced
If you are looking for a laidback holiday, this is an excellent resort. Placed away from traffic and commercial trash. Lots of space at the beach and very peaceful. The restaurant by the beachline is very pleasant, thou the prices are a little too high. The staff were very polite and tried to do the best for you as a guest. The breakfast restaurant is far to big and doesn´t feel pleasant.
the location is fantastic for relaxing isolation and silence, the staff was extremely kind and helpful, the room was very spacious and comfortable, the views to the Andamant Sea and surrounding rain forest were exquisite. Nice swimming pool with bar and a whirpool. cocconuts fell from trees but we were over charged compare to other items on the menu. The breakfast suits a 3 star hotel. Only 6 or 7 tv channels none in english. Internet rates 4 times more expensive than in the nearby village.
One of the best hotels I stayed at. Excellent food, very servive minded staff, a beach that is something I didn't think existed anylonger.
Very quite for the time of year, only one dining area open, poolside bar not open, nice though. A bit out of the way motor scooter is the way to go to see the area.
Quiet. We live in Thailand 6 months a year and noise pollution is prevalent.
I can honestly say that this it the best value for money hotel i have stayed in. Our room was new, clean and spacious and the design was contemporary Thai style and the staff were friendly too. Our breakfast was very good too. It is very quiet and relaxing. The only down side is that the sea can be too rough to swim in and the spa facilities are expensive, still you cant have everything!!!
