Hotel El Auca

All the meals at the hotel were very good. Breakfast was buffet style with simple but good food options. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with outside tables for drinks or dining, full of plants, birds, and some surprising local wildlife.

The hotel has a super great location for the price, very central and with a nice garden. It is conveniently close to the pier where the Napo river trips start and end, and a Tia supermarket is within easy walking distance.

The property is beautiful and well-kept, with immaculate grounds and exceptional housekeeping. However, some guests noted that there were cleanliness issues in the bathroom and that the room had a mildew/moldy smell.
