Pros: Location, staff, accommodations everything was perfect!
Situated on the bay, Casa Morada is a great choice for a stay in Islamorada. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and indulge in deep-tissue massages. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like premium bedding and bathrobes.
Pros: The location was wonderful and the staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and were big enough that we would have been comfortable staying for a much longer time (we only stayed 2 days). We are definitely planning on a return trip to Islamorada and will be staying here again!
Cons: The air conditioner was pretty noisy at night.
A great choice for a stay in Islamorada, Pines & Palms Resort features a marina. After splashing around at the outdoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. A beach bar and a poolside bar are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
A great choice for a stay in Islamorada, The Caribbean Resort features a marina. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Free bike rentals and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like kitchens and washers/dryers.
Pros: Captain Sue's Snorkel Charter, water activities, Fred at activity center
Cons: More informative of resort layout at check in, assigned parking
Pros: Liked everything. Service, room, everything was great!
Pros: Free paddleboard, free kayaks, beautiful grounds, never felt crowded, clean updated rooms, the staff was great.
Cons: The pool was a little small, the breakfast was just basic, the food was OK.
Pros: I like the coziness atmosphere and the beachfront property!!!!
Cons: Rooms are not well sound proof and we can hear every noise from upstairs or outside :-(
Pros: Location general feeling activities
Cons: Breakfast can be better
Pros: A great tropical setting with a great outdoor bar area.
Beautiful beach area with water access! Plenty of things to do!
Cons: Towels were a bit scarce and the breakfast buffet could use a bit more of a selection. Hot scrambled eggs are cheap to provide and would greatly improve the spread.
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Voices from next room
Pros: Great holiday buffets, free parking passed to local events.
Cons: Small pool, pool was only open until 10 pm on holiday weekend.

Bayfront Resort located in the center of Islamorada. Unique vintage style property with modern guest rooms and effiencies. Guests can explore the island with free kayaks, bicycles and paddleboards. Freshwater swimming pool and boat dockage available.
Pros: I liked the lanai, and the convenient access to the beach. The breakfast was excellent and the wait staff were so friendly. They were locals and gave us great advice on activiities that our grandchildren would appreciate. The beach and the pools were super. The zero entry into the pool was awesome.
There are also great opportunities for water activity rentals-kayaks, sailboats, water cycles etc.
Cons: Bandwidth on the wifi is inadequate for peak times in the evening.
Cons: No one cleaned outlet rooms.
Pros: The room was great! Had everything we needed and more! Wish we booked more days. We will be back!
Pros: The room was nice and spacious. We enjoyed being able to walk down and access the water without having to go anywhere. The restaurant was delicious and workers were super friendly.
Cons: The front desk staff when we checked in weren't very engaging. Even when we checked out they were very matter of fact and didn't try to engage us. When we were walking out there was one that ask if we had fun and enjoyed our stay. She definetly out shined anyone else working in that department.
Pros: The resort is in a wonderful location right on the beach. The pool and beach bar are beautiful. The rooms were large, fresh and clean. Loved having a kitchenette and a screened-in porch! We'll definitely be back!
Pros: Nice relaxing ocean front resort. Rooms somewhat dated but very clean and comfortable with a mini kitchen. Pool and bar area very new. Lots of room with 2 pools and a very large beach. I would definitely go again. Good value for Florida Keys.
Cons: Check in was a bit rough, room not ready on time
Pros: Perfect location. Make sure to wake up for the sunrise.. Shouldn't be missed. The rooms are clean and the staff is nice. Great value!
We've never eaten on property but supposedly a continental breakfast is included.
Cons: I've tried to book directly through hate on weekends and they have two night stay policy which is silly for the keys.
Pros: The room had old Florida charm, but in a clean and cheerful way. I loved it! We are looking forward to our next visit!
Pros: We liked everything about the resort.
Nice quiet relaxing place
Pros: We have been going to the Islander on and off from before they had AC and only jalousy windows to the present so I guess we love it's old Florida atmosphere;especially off weekends.
We also like the Pet Friendly atmosphere.
Cons: If you want a wild time weekends are it
Nestled on the beach, this Islamorada resort is within a 15-minute walk of Matecumbe United Methodist Church and Hurricane Monument. Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park and History of Diving Museum are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: Beautiful lobby/restaurant beach area and pool. Staff amazing, friendly and helpful.
Cons: rooms sparse. Need more lighting and seating but other than that clean and modern.
Pros: The rooms are very nice but they are missing a microwave which is very much needed. They have a Keurig Coffee maker and a few K cups to get your day started, plus there is a mini fridge but there was no way to heat your coffee if you like to add milk and cream unless you go down to the front desk and ask them to heat it for you. One other plus was they did freeze our fish (caught from charter fishing) and held it until our departure. Just make sure to remember to pick it up upon your departure. :
Pros: The staff were exceptional especially Steve, Snl and David.i was in love with the decor and the cleanliness of the facility. I would definitely go back. And the view from our room was amazing.
Cons: The construction that was in progress near the pool area was alittle annoying . Also did not care for the breakfast experience the food was just okay and very pricey for what you get.
Cons: There was some remodeling but I'm sure once lt's done it would be amazing
Pros: the rooms were big, nice beds
Cons: bathroom was dirty also the towels were dirty ( they had hair on them)
The service at the restaurant was slow
Pros: Hotel was beautifully decorated with a nice pool, beach and outdoor bar
Pros: The resort was clean and well designed and appointed after the renovation.
Cons: They had given my reservation away and took a while to assign a room while they looked for the snafu. They did provide free drinks and breakfast for the delay, though! So that was thoughtful and accommodated for the delay.
Pros: the beach is nice, not too many beaches in the keys. very nice view of the ocean, and it was great to be able to have access to swim in the ocean. the pool was very nice , as well, kids love the pool. The rooms and everything else were very comfortable.
Cons: Because I am on a lower budget, the only way we were able to stay there was through a 3rd party offer. We were there only for 2 nights. Food and drinks are always pretty expensive at places like this, so I couldn't partake, as I would of liked.
Pros: The staff was exceptional - took care of the snake in my room, showed me how to use coffee pot, and telephone, fixed the TV and put new battery in safe. All unnecessary if it had been done prior to my arrival.
The decor is lovely and the grounds pretty and well kept. Liked the hot tub. Kudoos to Annette
Cons: I don't think the room was checked prior to my occupancy. or been occupied in some time The TV didn't work, the safe didn't work (dead battery) no instructions as to use of phone, coffee pot. the floor of balcony was dirty, no instructions to prevent shower flooding bathroom. I don;t expect to have to call maintenance several times in a 4 day stay when I go for rest and relaxation. It is a handicap room and a flooded floor could cause me to fall...
Pros: Renovations were very well done has a luxury feel to it. Beautiful views pool side. Great little bocce court and swings and slide. Good central location in the keys. Small hidden hot tub.
Cons: We reserved for 4 people and the uncomfortable pull out couch with springs in the mattress was only a twin. We tried to get another room each of the 4 nights with no luck. Lots of tiny jelly fish (sea lice) in the ocean entry area. I did not get stung, but both of my kids did.
Pros: I liked everything about it! The front desk member Annette was most helpful.
Cons: I didn't bring my id to get drinks because I didn't want to lose it in the sand or water. I was denied a drink at the Amarca Bay bar outside. I recommend that there a be a system in place that allows guests to charge drinks to their room. Try temporary database of guest's proof of age to the Front desk conputers, or distribute a proof of age wristband.
Pros: Great hot tub area, nice to have a bar right near the pool so you can have lunch pool side, little play area in the sand was a nice plus, very modern and the food was incredible.
Cons: So many things...we asked for the nearest boat ramp and they directed us to one miles away when they had one on location. I called ahead and asked about accommodations. They said every room has a pull out couch. It was a pull out chair...not couch. Couldn't sleep our family comfortably. Wanted ice, 2 different staff directed me to 2 different floors where there wasn't an ice machine.
This newly refreshed Florida Keys resort getaway is an iconic property that offers the retro, throwback feel of a nostalgic American beach vacation, combined with modern amenities, designer furnishings and a touch of whimsy. We are currently undergoing a 'stem to stern' refresh here on property, including updates at the Tiki Bar, event venues, sleeping rooms, front lobby, landscaping and exteriors. We are exciting about the changes happening and hope you'll come see for yourself.
Pros: Great facility.
Professional and courteous staff members.
Nice and clean
Pros: Everything! Felt very private everywhere! The grounds were beautiful. Decor elegant. Staff very nice and incredibly accommodating.
Cons: Service at bar and restaurant a little slow to start. Would like the pool water to be a little cooler.
Pros: Loved it, the amenities were great considering most resorts charge you for all the activities. The food and service was great and the place is so beautiful and lush.
Pros: ROOM AND SERVICE PEOPLE WERE GOOD AND HELPFUL
Cons: NOT A "4" STAR LUXURY RETREAT BASED ON THE DAILY RATE BUT OK .
Pros: Great location, really nice amenities. We liked the setup too, smaller buildings built on the beach with a couple of lagoons. The pitch and putt course was great, as was the inclusion of sea kayaks, fishing poles, and tennis gear.
Cons: NOT having stand-up paddle boards as part of the "resort fee" when virtually everything else is included is sort of dumb. The Atlantic Edge restaurant is pretty good, but way over priced for the fare when compared to other local restaurants. That said, there are LOTS of other local places so don't feel compelled to spend twice as much for a piece of fresh local fish.
Renowned for its stylish accommodations, world-class cuisine, elegant Spa and spectacular oceanfront setting, Cheeca Lodge & Spa offers incredible service in an unforgettable tropical setting. Located just 90 minutes south of Miami and nestled on 27 lushly landscaped acres, Cheeca Lodge and Spa is sure to please travelers of all kinds.Barefoot elegance begins from the moment the sun rises over the Atlantic until the moon sets on the Florida Bay. This exhilarating tropical playground offers an array of experiences from award winning restaurants, customized spa treatments, recreational activities and gracious hospitality.
Pros: Location. Easy access to restaurants and small beaches.
Cons: Could be a nice place after a full renovation. Rooms are 'tired'. They feel dirty even if clean. Peeling paint. Cracked tile. Ancient linens. 3 friendly staff members who work limited hours. Ice machine is behind a locked door so we never had ice.
Pros: Location good, room very cute.
Cons: The children of managers were running all over all the time, running around underfoot with a tiny puppy that has us all (4) worried for its safety. The parrots in the cages had filthy water and no food which worried us also. The vacation ruined place empty
Pros: View/location, nice pool
Cons: No ice, difficult door lock, no bath fan or AC, bed too firm, pool entry ladders very difficult, pool not handicap accessible, gravel everywhere got in sandles
Cons: Awful. Room daily cleaned. No maid service for our three days. No change of sheets or towels, floor not cleaned, bathroom not cleaned, hot tub unclean. Had to request clean towels and soap. Office generally unoccupied. $---/night outrageous overcharge!
Pros: Owners were very friendly and acted promptly when shower wouldn't drain. Nice kitchenette. Relatively quiet location. Pretty flowers. Kids loved the tropical birds too
Cons: plumbing issue
Pros: Yeni and Alex were very welcoming. The view was gorgeous and we got great use out of the pool.
The motel website makes the motel look much nicer than it really is.
Pros: Decent location on the Key.
Cons: I would not suggest paying over $--- per day.
Pros: Pet friendly
Cons: Renovations were in progress; the toilet did not flush and the shower would not shut off. Seaweed collected and rotted at the beach front creating an unpleasant odor.
Pros: QUAINT ROOM WELL DECORATED CLEAN
Cons: STAFF RUDE IN CHECKING IN CALLED MY HOME AND SAID I DID NOT PAY
Pros: The staff - super personable, helpful and friendly! The view was wonderful and the location was great too.
When visiting Islamorada, Sands of Islamorada is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: Shower was small, old, and dirty
Air conditioning unit didn't cool well all night
Room was old
There was a little plate full of something weird ontop of the toilet cover. I looked like wet salt. Not sure what that was for.
A great choice for a stay in Islamorada, Drop Anchor Resort and Marina features a marina. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and parasailing are nearby. Rooms at this Art Deco hotel offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: I enjoyed the location and appreciated the size of our room, almost a a one bedroom apartment.
Cons: We didn't like that you could hear every footstep and door slam from our neighbors.
Pros: Awesome location, beautiful grounds, and an amazing beach front. Rooms were modern despite an older feel to the resort.
Cons: Construction at the time of visit. They cut through a sewer line near my room and it was stanky. Was a minor annoyance and did not detract from my trip. But you may want to check and make sure the constuction has been completed.
Pros: Would highly recommend. Service was excellent. Room was comfy and nice.
Pros: The pool was beautiful and is heated! The views were amazing.
Cons: At the time we stayed there was no wifi. There were tiny gnats crawling around the bathroom sink every day. The window hinge was broken so that the window would not close; however this was fixed immediately by the staff by screwing the window permanently shut.
There was a coffee pot with supplies to make coffee, but no cups provided.
Pros: The place they moved us to was ok for the time we had it was near the dive shop and good restaurants still would have like to stay where we planned on staying. The staff was nice and rooms clean
Cons: Check in was not tell after 4pm check out was by 11am even though we could stay and use beach after checking out it seemed rushed maybe next time we can stay longer and at the main resort.
Pros: I loved the view and the size of the rooms however they were dated.
Cons: There is nowhere to even buy a bottle of water on the resort. Needs a tiki bar and at least a snack bar.. Or soda machine!
Pros: We have been coming here for about 6 years now for lobster mini season, accommodations are perfect for us....
Cons: It would be awesome if the marina could comfortably accommodate midsize boats, I'm talking about 24' to 30' range... my dredging out some of the slips and channel. But I also understand that there are environmental red tape and hefty fees to make that happen down in the keys...
Pros: one bedroom with full kitchen
Cons: sofa bed was broken and housekeeping said oh well sorry...and did nothing for fix...stay away from room 118
Pros: Very nice marina.
Cons: Too pricey for what it is.
Pros: The basic room was fantastic ! Lobed my stay!
Cons: This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
Staff could use a lesson in how to run a hotel
Pros: Nice pool and jacuzzi
Cons: Old beds, rooms are old and a bit musty. Tv did not work. Was a bit more like a motel than a hotel
La Siesta Resort & Marina is putting the finishing touches on a refresh of our all-suite beachfront hotel. A favorite getaway of Keys residents, charter fishing captains and in-the-know anglers, our six-acre Islamorada hideaway has reopened. We look forward to welcoming you for a dream getaway.
One of the best kept secrets and favorite escapes of Keys aficionados, La Siesta Islamorada beach hotel is located on 6-acres of oceanfront accessible by the historic Overseas Highway at mile marker 80. Our Islamorada beach hotel is less than 90 minutes from Miami, putting the resort in the heart of the lively Florida Keys, providing a tranquil escape among native flora and fauna for an uncommonly relaxing retreat. Escape from the everyday and embrace the natural beauty of Florida at its best. The shimmering blue hues of the Atlantic Ocean greet you upon arrival as the private sugar sand beach calls your name.
Pros: The location was nice, and the staff was helpful and kind. The on-site restaurant was not only delicious but also staffed by friendly folks.
Cons: We experienced problems with the air conditioning in our room, which took several phone calls to the front desk to fix. They were also remodeling the hotel, so there was quite a bit of noise and such during the day. If I had to do it again, I'd stay somewhere else.
Cons: I am a female police officer. I went on a mini vacation and stayed in this hotel. Staff, food and cleanliness were great. But I do have a safety suggestion that I unfortunately realized how unsafe this was until I had a bad experience. When you check in they ask you to put on a wrist band that you cannot take off (even if you try) so employees can verify you are a guest at the hotel. Not a problem until you leave the hotel and go to different locations in the area and bump into someone local and unfortunately don't have good intentions or they are a habitual criminals and are familiar with tourist wearing their hotel name on the wrist. This makes them know a few things: 1) that they are a tourist (not familiar with area) making the tourist an easy target. Marking them as an easy target to rob them as tourist usually carry cash on them. Break into vehicles since tourist shop for gifts. 2) and the most important and unfortunately it happened to me. The suspect/offender will know where you are staying making it easy for them to plan the crime. I had an unknown male approach me while I was listening to music and having dinner and drinks with my female friend at a restaurant nearby. Male extended his arm as if he was introducing himself. He made it seem as if he was the manager so I politely extended my arm and shook his hand. He introduced himself. He was a customer. He asked me if he can buy me a drink and hang out with him. I kindly declined as I am a married woman. Little did I know or realized he already knew where I was staying because that's when he took advantage and read the bracelet that sqys the hotel name. Long story short without going into details I saw this male the next morning in the property canvassing the area. Still didn't think much of it till I saw him at night again, qt which point he aggressively approached my friend and myself. I will not go into details but because of that bracelet I became a victim. I hope that policy changes where we do not have to wear anything advertising our 'home' location to everyone and anyone. That is our home when we go on vacation.
Pros: friendly staff, fun atmosphere
Cons: under construction, non working elevators, expensive for what you get
Pros: The location was great! The pool is ok but gets better after a few drinks. The beach activities are fun too. Had a great time snorkeling and paddle boarding. The food was AMAZING and very reasonable priced.
Cons: The $25 resort fee is a joke(it includes parking, internet, and beach activities). If I have paid for a hotel, I don't want to have to pay more once I get there just to check in. The rooms were very small and had non functional furniture. There is nowhere to store your clothing. The water trampoline had a big tare in it so bouncing was out. The large inflatable rafts in the lagoon all had popped and were removed from the water during our stay. The pool was ok but really needed some upkeep. The bar looked like it was about to topple over into the pool. The alcohol was overpriced. All and all, we had a good time with our friends and family but I doubt I would come back. The resort was way too expensive for the value I received.
Pros: The location and staff were great.
Cons: Our room was very noisy when others were in the hall or adjacent rooms; this made it very difficult to sleep. A construction crew started working outside of our room very early in the morning.
Our A/C wasn't very cold.
The resort is undergoing renovations, and the amenities in service are very dated.
The area was under a small craft advisory during our stay and they wouldn't let us use the watersports equipment.
Pros: The place was really nice. Great location. Great restaurants in the area. The only issue was the shower. I can't descibe how bad it was. The room was nicely done but they forgot to update the shower.
Cons: The shower and the maids. You couldn't even get them to say good morning. It became a game - who can get the maid to respond to good morning.
Pros: the grounds were lovely and well kept and a beautiful place. lots of lounge chairs etc. and the staff was wonderful, especially, dave at beach services and Lita at the pool bar . ate at the raw bar and the food was good.We had a wonderful time and the only draw back was the awful room. a very pretty place.
Cons: the room was terrible. extremely small and poor lighting. bathroom was in need of work. except for the bed it was not a comfortable room to be in. a big disappointment ! there was no place to sit your things down or store your cases. smallest room I have ever stayed in.
Pros: the view of the ocean
Cons: the tiki bar was under construction
the hotel still needs some updating
the bathtub was in poor condition
the stairs need paint
could use an elevator
Pros: Very modern room...although short on electrical outlets. Large, comfortable, and clean for a beach hotel. Lots of beach activities included in price which is great. Front desk clerks very nice and helpful.
Cons: The hallways...made of concrete which is understandable but in your room you can hear guests walking, talking, etc.
Pros: The property is very nice on the outside, where you spend most of your time. All staff was helpful (water equipment rental booth, front desk, and maintenance) Came to the Keys hoping to see iguanas and they had a large family hanging out in a remote section of the property! Water equipment is free to use daily for about an hour at a time.
Cons: There is no area to grill. As a returning renter, I was disappointed their massive bar Rum Runners is permanently closed. The Tiki Bar was under renovation, and the room prices don't seem to fluctuate to reflect that, thus upon arrival my full expectations were not met. Obvious A/C leaking causing water damage to ceiling suggests they need to spend time inspecting/repairing units.
Pros: The location, ocean view, amenities and friendly staff
Cons: Both bars closed for renovation. Bars that were open had rotting wood and mildew. Frozen oysters at raw bar.
Cons: Did not know the tiki bar was closed for renovations. But overall was a good place to stay for the money.
This newly refreshed Florida Keys resort getaway is an iconic property that offers the retro, throwback feel of a nostalgic American beach vacation, combined with modern amenities, designer furnishings and a touch of whimsy.

Pros: The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was on their toes!
Cons: The only items worth complaining about was the lack of shade at the pool and the free breakfast.
Pros: Stayed only one night can really say much
Cons: Room had a weird smell! I don't know where was it coming from we had to stay with the aircoditioning on and there was little cretures under the bed
Pros: Beautiful views, super clean, spacious, quick check in, friendly staff, quality of bedding was awesome! We will stay here again and recommend to anyone I know coming to the area. Also the restaurant on site was delicious!!
Cons: That we only stayed for one night!
Pros: Loved it and will recommend others, had a great time
Pros: My wife and I loved the view from our waterfront balcony!
Pros: Location right by the water. Some of the rooms were remodeled. Continental breakfast only on the weekends.
Cons: There was no breakfast on site. There was some muffins, but nothing you could eat that was nutritious or low-calorie
There was remodeling and they were taking out the tile in the room next-door, which was unbearable during the day
My reservation was messed up and they require me to change rooms checking out and checking back in the following day and I had nowhere to go till 3 o'clock. The reservation mixup was not my fault it was probably the hotel or hotels.com. However I was the one analyze and they made no effort to resolve this issue
Pros: Staff was attentive, friendly and made our visit very relaxing and pleasurable. Violet and Shelby were wonderful and met all of our lodging and resort needs.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The townhouse we rented was very clean and beautifully decorated. The outside premises was very clean and kid friendly. I loved the outdoor hammocks and open space for the children to play. I also like that they offer recreational activities for their guest.
Cons: I wanted a later check out which was not available as well as the complimentary breakfast was somewhat limited. However it was very minor compared to the other fantastic amenities.
Pros: Rooms aren't anything too fancy but overall nice. But staying in the keys I don't think you need a lot inside because I'd imagine most are coming to be outside. The complimentary breakfast is basic (bagels, pastries, juice, etc) and you can buy eggs, pancakes, etc. The views are amazing! Right on the water and plenty of places to relax outside! Overall, nice stay.
Pros: Beachfront view, pier and comfortable rooms.
Cons: The new restaurant, staff did not come across welcoming, we ordered cocktails which were very poorly presented and bland not to mention expensive. That was disappointing.
Cons: Late breakfast
Pros: Couldn't be better considering the price! Kayaks were free to use, you just had to reserve them at the front desk. A good number of hammocks and chairs around for guests to sit in while lounging around the common area as well.
The room was beautiful with a fantastic view and a private deck, absolutely loved it!! There was also a kitchenette with dishes to use, so if you were staying there for longer you could make some food and eat at the little table in the room.
Cons: There were reserved spaces for some of the rooms, but ours was a "B" numbered room so there was no real place to park, and we had to park our car off the highway in the grass next to the building.

Flat-screen TVs come with cable channels and DVD players. Local calls and wireless Internet access are complimentary. Pros: The view and well kept grounds were incredible. The view of sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. The tiki bar with local beers was a plus.
Cons: Unfortunately we arrived and immediately jumped in the shower. The shower was not cleaned property with black long hair all over the shower wall. This was not s good start to our stay. Also, the shower and bathroom could be updated to reflect the beauty of the locale and the price of the rooms.
Pros: Breakfast awesome fresh
Cons: Construction all day next door, no food at property. The have a bar/tiki but it is closed. Rug in rooms very clammy. Only to sleep and leave.
Pros: Great waterfront view from our room, heated pools, and nice harbor for the boats. Covered parking was nice and the staff was also very friendly.
Cons: You are charged a daily resort fee not included in the original cost, but I have to say it's less of a resort and more of a hotel.
Pros: We liked the views and proximity to water and water sports. Breakfast was good. Plenty of outdoor seating to relax. Good location.
Cons: Our bed was so tough to sleep in, and we tried both beds in the room. We woke up with sore backs and tossed all night. So we were tired a lot of the trip from barely sleeping. We are young too so this is not regular for us. Other than that, the room could have been cleaner, specifically the shower. And we wished for a tiki bar for drinks on resort.
Pros: Just ONE catamaran is not ready for sailing.
Lack some important accessories for normal sailing.
Pros: Loved the scenery and the beautiful waters. Very close to restaurants and shops.
Cons: They di not have a Tiki bar or restaurant
Pros: We stayed in one of the cottages. Nice screened in porch and beds were very comfy. Sitting on top of the tiki hut was awesome in the breeze watching the motor sports on the water. Really nice place.
Cons: We saw a sign that said no taking wildlife from the lagoon so we didn't fish off the dock. The dock was full of snapper but we could only fish off the beach were there were no fish.
Pros: i liked the location of the resort. The activities like kayaking, biking and sailing were of no extra charge. Breakfast was included. The views and grounds were very attractive. Our college aged daughter and friends joined us for an overnight, and really loved the resort.
Pros: We upgraded from a regular room to a suite 702, and was thrilled with the accommodations, could not have asked for a better view. Felt like royalty for 3 days.
PS Breakfast is included I think with most rooms was acceptable
Pros: Staff was very helpful in getting our room upgraded to a king room. We were even able to upgrade to a king suite with ocean view. We did have to pay more, but it was discounted for us. Very quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view!
Cons: Our room at first had 2 double beds and we wanted a king.
Renowned for its fishing, Islamorada is part of the Florida Keys - and Chesapeake Beach Resort puts guests steps from its sun-kissed shoreline. Those who can tear themselves from a lounger can drive 4 minutes to Theater of the Sea, where visitors can get in the water with dolphins and sea lions.
Pros: Awesome aquarium type dock area with many species. Staff also were outstanding!
Pros: Owner made it very convinient for late check in. Great customer service!!
Cons: Tv needed updating
Pros: Excellent location, on the water with great area for watching sunsets
Cons: Room furniture was dated and could use a good cleaning.
The hotel on the outside was beautiful and had character. The inside needs a definite facelift, but this is not unusual for the area. We knew what to expect because of the rating on the Priceline site, so we were not unpleasantly surprised. The location made it worth the small amount of discomfort. How much time do you spend in your room anyway, when you are in the Keys? The staff was very courteous and a pleasure to deal with.
Pros: The location was absolutely beautiful. Stunning views of the gulf, right next to a small beach, plenty of outdoor area to sit, grill, docking for boats, and an award winning restaurant right next door.
Cons: The hotel rooms themselves have not been updated for decades (I'm not exaggerating)! The curtains and bedspreads are very dark and heavy, lighting not good, old fixtures. However, despite this, the room was clean and they had some updates like WiFi .

Pros: The hotel is located on the water with access to boats and water activity. There is also the convenience of a bar and restaurant on site. The room was clean and the space was adequate but I would not stay for one more night. The AC problem was reported to the general manager and she said they would fix it when they cleaned the room which did not solve the problem for us or offer any type of compensation.
Cons: I came to this hotel for one night for business. The AC was not working from the time we entered the room. We put it down to 60 degrees and sweat the entire night. The door to the room was extremely hard to open and close and it did not close completely leaving a large gap.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The smell of the cleaning solution was overpowering. Had to leave the room for a while. Also on our first nights stay our coffee pot was left on and we noticed it the next day when we went to make coffee
