Very basic but fair accommodation for its price. Much better located than many 3 star hotels around Termini. Breakfast area and the reception look nice
Cleanliness of the towels and, more importantly, bedclothes left much to be desired. Extremely small single rooms though typical for Rome
hotel staf was kind and always there to help
rooms really too small
centrally located to city and the train depot
The location was really fantastic. It's the first house from St. Maria Maggiore and 8 min from Termini station. We traveled to Florence during our stay in Rome so it was very important to have the hotel located close to the station. Although, we were able to use Reppublica, the next stop after Termini. They're very close to each other and on everyday purpose it's more pleasant to use Reppublica. There's a nice coffee house near the hotel called Panella, this's Via Merulana 54. They make awesome cappuccino and you may have a snack there. This is really a very nice and stylish place and a very good value for money. There's no use of choosing metro to get to Colloseum, it's just a 15 min walk from the hotel.
I must say that not all the rooms in the hotel are good. We were first given a tiny room on the first floor and it was horrible because the window's located just near the head and if you open it at night the wind'll blow just onto your head. I asked to change the room and then we're given a very nice twin room on the third floor. It was bigger and with a very good location of the window. The bells from the church are heard at night, it didn't bother me but if you want an absolute quietness this's a minus.
Location to train station.
Fair. Looking at the website leaves you with the impression that the rooms are of good size, but they are extremely small and the queen room had two singles push together. Not worth staying at for more than a day or two. Price not commiserate with room size or facilities.
The breakfast was nice, the older gentleman at the front desk was very helpful with directions and how to get to certain places...Nice clean bathroom..
The pillows were terrible, too soft and no support. No conditioner in the hotel (although I have found this with mose European hotels). Cramped room, again same with all European hotels, must be the way they do things
the insulated windows, the location, the especially nice and helpful desk clerks
