Excellent Service It was a good tip not to book a room overlooking the inner court. The rooms with outside windows are much better due to the view. Excellent location near the Museum of Russian Art.
room and service were very good. the concierge-marie and anna were very helpful to us,
Location is superb; staff are 5 star; lovely rooms. Particularly liked the cigar bar. When we mentioned that it was my birthday the piano struck up and staff marched to the table with a cake lit up. Very nice touch.
We weren't told in advance that one side of the hotel is under renovation and thus covered in plastic and scaffolding thus no view. Hotel arranged for us to change rooms but we had to stand on a table on the balcony to see the square outside.
Friendly staff and excellent location. Safe and pleasant

the position, Europe bar and live jazz music, concierge
Our classic room had courtyard view, maybe kind of expensive compared to Kempinsky in Moscow where we had just spent five unforgettable days. Also no acceptable spa for a five star hotel. All in all pleasant, but it may leave you disappointed because it's too big (groups oriented, though luxury) and sometimes lacks "personality".
The concierge and reception desk was great, friendly, efficient, and very helpful. The location was brilliant, the bar area was the best part of the hotel and we spent many an evening there. The outdoor street cafe was brilliant. Very hard to leave the hotel.
Didn't have enough umbrellas and it rained all the time. Except for the fabulous jazz bar, waitresses were awful which was par for the course in St. Petersburg. The gym was mediocre and filled with drunken day pass users of dubious connections. Appalling for a 5 star hotel, i felt I had stumbled into a brothel.
