It was quiet
It is located on a hill separated from any restaurants, stores, groceries. Next door to a Jordanian facility with armed soldiers at the gates. To get a taxi requires calling ahead. Walking to town is unlikely as there are no signs and the roads zigzag and have dead ends. The front desk was not usually staffed. I had to wait for a manager to come in to pay the bill. The WiFi only worked in the lobby and I had to request it be set up which meant a jury rigged series of connections stretching down the hallway. The carpets were stained and dirty and burned in places. The breakfast was offered late and included some apparently defrosted pita bread, spreadable cheese, lebneh and 6 slices of processed meat. That and instant coffee cost the equivalent of $10 each.
All. The room was dirty, the sheets were not changed only scented. The brown trace of the head was visible. Very dirty bath linens. Dirty toilets and with traces of urine everywhere. We asked for another room. Same, dirty sheets. The carpet dirty, greasy, burned in places, with traces of blood. We stayed because too late and nothing else around. disgusting. To avoid
On our arrival the security guard told us the hotel was closed for maintenance which it was. We called the business number and lucky for us the administration was there on site (the hotel is part of a school). The administration opened the hotel for us, got us in a room in minutes and even helped us arrange a car for going out to dinner.
No WIFI or breakfast or potable water available which is likely due to the hotel being closed.
Clean, spacious, comfortable bedrooms and reception area. Staff were very helpful - when they were there(!)
The location meant that a taxi was the only realistic way to get to and from town. And on occasion taxi drivers require paying to come to the hotel to collect you.
