10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Beautiful building. Great room. Very pleasant staff.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic old convent, an attraction in itself. Staff are very friendly. Silos is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Went for a great bike ride - no charge. Stayed in (superior) room. Large. Two comfortable single beds. Chairs tables etc. Nice bathroom with shower. Didn't try food. Ate instead at the fantastic Casa Galín in Covarrubias which is a short trip away by car. Well worth the trip for the all-included 25 euro roast lamb weekend special and to see this truly beautiful village. The river in Covarrubias has a lovely pool that you can swim in.
Cons: No air conditioning. Might be an idea to bring a fan. No mini-bar so maybe bring a cooler too. There are two huge radiators so I imagine that it would be very comfortable in the winter.

Pros: A beautiful hotel in a great location if you are discovering the off beat locations. Not so good if en route to ferry ( which I was)> I would love to go back and explore the area. The run from Aranda de Duero to the hotel is field after field of Stunning sunflowers. The bodegas in this area look very inviting and the village of Caleruega looks like a nice friendly village. Elena the proprietoress/reception/waitress seems to be jack of all trades and just appears to serve your needs, and is very pleasant with it.
Cons: Map of directions slightly wrong, and a long way off the A1 further than it looks on the map

Pros: Lovely family run establishment !
Cons: May be an issue with it was stated the property has underground parking with no mention of extra cost. When I got there it was €7 payable. Another establishment nearby was much cheaper with free parking in front. Having said that, very friendly family run place - Menu del dia dinner was €12 for 3 courses. 7.0 Good
Pros: Very good location right outside the monastery
Cons: Reception was unmanned when we arrived (at our pre-arranged time). There was a sign (only in Spanish) directing us to an alternative reception. This was also unmanned and a number of staff were eating in the restaurant. I was told (in Spanish) to return between an hour and ninety minutes later. This is really not acceptable. I then rang the hotel from their own reception which finally summoned an unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist. At breakfast we were neither greeted nor made welcome. Its a surprise and a disappointment that a major hotel in a tourist / pilgrimage destination has no staff with a second language.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was very small, but you get what you pay for.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for Sad Hill Cemetery
5.5 Okay
Pros: The workers, except the owner, were very nice and pay attention in all our necessities, and the location was amazing
Cons: The owner of the hotel was an old woman with intrusion on all sides, screaming all day and annoying both workers and customers. It was not nice to share spaces with her

Cons: Limited free parking
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location! Very friendly and courteous staff. Quiet location right next to monasterio.
Cons: As there is little choice for restaurants all of them have prices a bit higher than in larger towns or cities. Nevertheless, food is good and staff are vert friendly and attentive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 1. Within a minute's walk to the Monastery. Easy to catch the various schedules. 2. The Bar-Restaurant that's part of the hotel was the most patronized, even by locals. Other eating establishments were not operating at the time we were there (9-10 April). 3. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. 4. Parking in underground garage available for a fee. 5. Friendly staff.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I arrived on my bike in the dark at 10:30 local time. Agustina was waiting for me and was helpful and accommodating. The bed was great, shower fabulous, and the toast and coffee in the morning hit the spot. It wasn’t until I was leaving that morning that I noticed and appreciated the environment and surroundings. Beautiful rolling farm fields, a towering mesa behind the village, and no noise... only the singing of birds and the occasional faint sounds of a farmer working.
Cons: Not applicable...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel -- 18th century Spanish atmosphere. Woodwork and stone work are beautiful. Clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is lovely.
Cons: Not a thing!
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel is a gorgeous stone structure with fabulous exposed stone walls, thick, carved wooden doors, heavy iron hardware and beautiful casement windows. The rooms are clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable.
Cons: We had to get a second room for our son, and it was unbearably hot because the staff had forgotten the portable AC or a fan. They brought a fan when I asked, but it was too late. It was miserably hot all night long. Our son would have been more comfortable on the floor. One other problem was a very bad smell in the bathroom of our other room. It was faint when we arrived, but by midnight very unpleasant and nearly unbearable by morning. Too bad! I wanted to love this place.
6.5 Good
Pros: The bath .
Cons: The bedding is very old. The hotels smells like old cooking oil.
6.3 Good
Cons: breakfast. too poor for the amount diner also
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel in historical building in the heart of this tiny village.
Cons: Personnel virtually does not speak any English.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and very atmospheric.
Cons: No opinion
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here several years ago, and while it was a lovely, charming old hotel, it needed upgrading. This is a family business and the son has taken over - and now the bathrooms are modern, there are plenty of electrical outlets, everything works...and it’s still charming. I had a very comfortable stay here. The dining room is good, basic regional food (no fusion cuisine here!) and the staff is very pleasant. The wifi is sometimes weak, but that’s because it’s an old stone building with thick walls. A good stay and I plan to stay here again, because Santo Domingo de Silos is a wonderful place...and this is right across the street from the monastery.
6.0 Good
Pros: location
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing- Rooms are quite correct but without charme. Quite expensive for quality and other services. Disappointing

5.5 Okay
Pros: Our room was clean and quite spacious which was fine. The beds were firm and comfortable. Hot water was plentiful. There was plenty of parking.
