The head of staff behind the reception really understands what good service is. The WIFI never worked. Not enough coverage.
The hotel was ideally located in pleasant surroundings and made for a relaxing time. The staff were very friendly and tried their best to accomodate one's requests even though sometimes it took a while... The free wifi- while appreciated was slow and not suitable from a business perspective as drop-outs were frequently experienced ( must stress though that I was there on holiday!) Some facilities were old and needed repair/updating eg tennis & squash court.
Very nice hotel. Is great location for trip to rainforest discovery centre which is best attraction in the area. The staff on reception are a bit slow. Despite having many of them standing there it took quite a long time to find our reservation.
The service was excellent, the staff helpfull, especially in the restaurant which served a good malaysian buffet.
Welcoming lobby area, well kept grounds, lovely pool and cafe The food in tge more relaxed restaurant was not good and spoilt our one nights stay at the sabah
the room is big and comfortable breakfast not so many variety
Efficient online booking system. Check in and check out is fast and hassle free. Nothing I don't like about this Hotel.
It is a great location and very easy to find your way around the town centre on foot. Good sized bedrooms. Great air-conditioning. Staff did not tell us how to get to our room once we had checked in. E.g. Please take the lift to the 4th floor..
breakfast was very huge, food at restaurant was delicious, room was clean up every day nothing,
We had a pleasant stay in comfortable twin bed rooms and we loved the ambient mood at the roof terrace. The staff was always smiling and helpful. A bit traffic noice at room 403 and 503.
Front door and desk personel very helpful. Large room. Nice rooftop Door lock very poor. No fresh milk for breakfast. Took an hour to get a hawaiin pizza delivered to my room and when it was delivered had pretty much next to nothing on it. No news channels on the television.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, functional and very well designed. The most enjoyable part of the stay was the roof top bar. Absolutely stunning design and layout. Spread over 3 floors the aesthetic was bohemian luxury. The music was excellent, the food was of a high standard. We were planning to explore the city a little but as soon we stepped foot in the bar all thoughts of moving anywhere were erased. I couldn't recommend it more.
A lovely hotel. Decorated really well. Friendly staff who are very helpful and give you information on trips and what to do in the area. Roof garden and bar - brilliant!
Leaving the hotel Both our rooms were next to a ventilation chamber and the noise was so loud that it shook the beds. They did not offer to gave us quieter rooms on the opposite side of the hotel despite that they were available. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.
The bar on the roof was great! To see the sunset from there, is so relaxed and also take the ceasar salad. The rooms are quiet expensive for what you get for it. And the room wasn't that clean.
Staff so friednly and helpful. Location in Jungle beside Orang Utan sanctuary perfect. Gardens and relaxed jungle style rooms, pool and outdoor cafe. Tours run were outstanding. Highly recommend this Resort and associated tours
The staff is good and the i like the natural surronding The reception and other service closed at 10pm and no one will attend after that. The aircorn in my room is not working properly.
Its close proximity to Sepilok Orangutan Centre. Breakfast was poor. Had to pay to use swimming pool. Air conditioning in room was inadequate. Regular power failure.
Great location for the purpose of our visit: 5 min walk to Orangutan sanctuary. We were extremly pleased with everyhing there.
The garden of the hotel is extensive and includes ponds and lakes, and the restaurant overlooks this. I upgraded on arrival to a room with a balcony which made the most of the peaceful garden. The hotel is next to the Orang Utang rehabilitation centre. The food is basic, to be polite, with few options, and the hotel is rather run-down. They charge guests to use the pool and for a pool towel, and the pool doesn't open until 10am and closes at 5pm.
