Pros: Comfortable rooms, good services at the reception, restaurant. Proper parking places. Close to the Otopeni airport. All these positive reasons made us to return few times in the last period.
Cons: We found twice (we have been 2 times in one week) dirty bed sheets in the rooms. We received immediately another room with clean bed sheets but anyway...

Cons: It was further from the airport and Bucharest than we had realised and no shuttle bus. We organised with the taxi driver that took us to the hotel from the airport to pick us up on the day we left because taxi’s don’t come that far out of the city.

Cons: Not much to do in the area In the morning there was only the kitchen staff and we didn't find cofee, also the breakfast was preset, which I'm not a fan of

Cons: There was an event the night we came so the restaurant was closed and offered only pizza (she was good). The staying place is not privet, there's 4 rooms in the same cottage, the stairs is squeaky and you can hear everything going around in the other rooms. The top - scary knocking on our door at 3AM (the other guests didn't know where they're sleeping). The top of the top - little noises all night, on 4AM we discovered it's a mice (inside the room!!!) and needed to take care of it by our self. In the morning the breakfast was dry and clearly not fresh, and in the check-out when we told the whole story the reception lady just smiled and that's it.

Pros: The accommodation we stayed in was beautiful, warm comfortable and tastefully furnished. We also had a beautiful Tuscan sun room, full of plants which was a bonus. The breakfast was great and plentiful and the museums and farm were well cared for and very interesting. The friendly administrator showed us around which was great. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the restaurant is decent.
Cons: Nothing, although sharing a bathroom could have been annoying but the flat next to us was empty.

Pros: The hotel is near the airport and there is a shuttle that you can take from (and to) the airport. The shuttle leaves every half-past the hour, every hour from 0430 - (2230?). The breakfast is great if you decide to pay the extra amount. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly.
Cons: Being next to the airport, it was a little loud with flying jets overhead. The shuttle driving was a little erratic for my liking. The beds are separated, so if you want a queen, you'll have to push the beds together and hope you don't fall through the cracks.

Cons: Not happy to discover the hotel transfers around my departure time we’re all full so had to book a taxi. The key reason for picking this hotel was it’s proximity to the airport and the free transfer. I paid more than other places in the same area because of this then had to book a taxi anyway.

Pros: We stay in Amethyst second time now and Everything it's great, nice location, very warm all the time as well very friendly people and clean. Rooms are very nice giving a warm welcome, meaks you feel like home.
Cons: On the first day the breakfast was little pure only butter and jam as we did not get the omlet witch was offered by the stuff. But maybe this is due to the less occupied place in the morning but this is not so bad as we are not so spoiled. On the next morning breakfast was just great.

Pros: An excellent place to stay in-between the flights where we will definitely come back again while travelling via Otopeni. We have not actually expected to have such great value from the room next to the airport. It was a spacious and very cosy room, super clean, well arranged, with all the needed facilities, a comfortable bed, etc. The transfer was super fast and punctual.
Cons: We have not been informed that the hotel does not have 24h reception. We had a 2h delay because of some working issues and could not make it to the hotel according to the previously confirmed schedule. The owner was insisting with the phone calls (even if we informed her that we would arrive later) and seemed quite unpleased and even annoyed that made us feel uncomfortable. This situation could have been easily avoided if we received a notification that the reception is closed during the evening / night hours. We have not opted for the airbnb apartment for a reduced price - we have chosen the place that was supposed to give us some flexibility with the hours of arrival that actually we did not quite receive.

Pros: Price was good, food was good and the staff were nice.
Cons: It was further from the airport and Bucharest than we had realised and no shuttle bus. We organised with the taxi driver that took us to the hotel from the airport to pick us up on the day we left because taxi’s don’t come that far out of the city.
