Lovely staff very clean perfect cheap getaway

This booking was a last minute panic one, due to our original one had closed down due to the covid 19 government shutdown policy. But we cannot recommend to highly this hotel. The reception girl and management was outstanding in dealing with our situation 100%. Thank you. Once the covid 19 issues are brought under control, do not hesitate to book this hotel.

The one downside is the walking distance to the rail station is a good 20 min walk uphill if your fit, but one can book a taxi via the reception.

The Hotel was immaculate in every way and a very helpful owner too. Will return without a doubt.

Excellent service from staff...very friendly.

We have stayed here before because it’s just a stones throw away from the seafront but also has a lovely pool of its own. We catch the train from the airport and it’s a simple walk down the hill.

There is a little road noise but that’s better than having late night people noise

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel spotlessly clean. Gardens beautiful. Bar reasonable prices. Bed in room 307 by far the most comfortable I've had in Spain.

If I was to be very picky shower only had decent pressure at low temperature. Minor issue.

Small hotel well situated with very nice pool area / garden . Staff are very friendly and helpful also.

Walls do not lend much noise insulation as you can hear a lot .

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hairdryer and kettle were provided in the rooms and the rooms were cleaned every day. The gardens were well kept with enough sun beds for the guests and tables to sit at. Wine was only 4 euros a bottle which they would keep in the fridge for you if you didn’t drink it all at once.

Can’t think of anything that could make this hotel better.

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us, hotel was spotless our room was spacious and had a balcony with a view over gardens and pool. Can't wait to go back

Good breakfast, clean rooms and lovely garden and pool. Friendly, helpful staff and good location with bus stop just outside door.

Very noisy with room overlooking busy road. Music in bar until 2am kept me awake. The room also smelled of cigarette smoke.

The hotel was close to everything you wanted. It was a great location, staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The rooms were clean and the balcony was lovely.

We found the pillows were hard to sleep on. If you wanted a fridge in the room you had to pay extra for it.

I loved this property it was really pretty great location very clean and well maintained the gardens are beautiful such wonderful flowers the staff are really really great a special thanks to Antonio but all staff were amazing I also loved the pool overall I had a super stay I would really recommend it and would happily return also €4 for a bottle of wine at the bar how great is that well done to all at hotel Carmen Teresa

Fabulous small hotel. Lovely garden with enough sunbed/seats. Staff helpful and friendly. Great bar prices. Room large with good shower. Very clean throughout.

It’s a small hotel with a lot of charm. Everything was perfect and very clean! The stuff was very friendly and welcoming! You are at the beach in just a few minutes. The surrounding was very quiet and there are supermarkets nearby. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful hotel , very clean.. rooms cleaned everyday and bed made, it has a beautiful bar, gardens and pool.. very central just a few mins stroll down a road to beach , bars and all types of food..

If I had anything at all to say it was there was no safe so I was worried about money and passports all the time ....and also there was a kettle , 2 mugs but no tea, coffee or milk ... though it was strange maybe a Spanish thing

I liked the extra touches of having a hair dryer and a kettle in the room.. And also a shower room to use on day of late flight. The staff were friendly. And on big balcony you have sunbeds.. Garden was lush. Location was brill.

Excellent value for money. Very comfortable with all that we could want. Staff exceptionally friendly & helpful. Hotel exactly as photos seen on booking.com Near to restaurants & beach etc. Bus to Malaga etc. Stops right outside . Rooms are basic more than acceptable with its own balcony. Plenty hot water and modern walk in shower. Garden offers shade and sun with beds, chairs etc. Lots of books, pool and quiet reading area. Will definitely use again.

Need a mirror nearer the hairdryer in the bathroom

Stayed here for one week,lovely hotel, our room overlooked the pool, sat on our veranda with a glass of wine very relaxing. The hotel sits back a few streets from the beach, but is so handy to get to everything. Rooms are a good size and our towels were changed every day, bed linen twice in the seven nights we stayed there.

If i was to think of something probably the pillows.

The staff go beyond what you get from a larger hotel. Extremely helpful in every aspect.

Our stay was to short, even after we extended by two days.

Very clean hotel and room, nice big terrace and amazing garden/pool area. Overall I'm very happy with this place, great value for money and super close to the beach/local restaurants and transport.

A little noisy on a night, we stayed on the first floor and could hear people in the bar, it was also loud when other rooms around us ran taps/flushed toilets - sounded like a boiler kicking in - it could disturb sleep, but to be honest after the first coouple of nights we got used to it.

Beautiful, immaculate garden and pool area. so pretty. Everything very clean and well maintained. All staff (including gardeners and cleaners) friendly and helpful. Good location for transport. Beach and shops/restaurants short walk.

Tepid coffee, inconsiderate guests

The hotel is very very clean as are all areas of the hotel. Nice small bar. You can get basic food i.e. pizza. The breakfast is as you expect fruit, cereal etc, don't expect a full English breakfast although there is bacon, eggs, and sausages but not as we know them lol. We found it adequate. We paid at the hotel as it is cheaper than booking on the hotel site. The gardens are beautiful. It is situated a 5 minute walk to the beach and is within a 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants and shops. The promenade is only minutes away and a leisurely walk will bring you to Belamagdena harbour if you walk to the right or if you go left a lovely walk into Torremelinos centre. There is a large supermarket to the right of the hotel (5 mins) to stock up on drinks or snacks etc. This is our 3rd time here and won't be the last

Unfortunately for us a group of 4 couples booked in on our last 2 days and they were very noisy and were drinking from 9 in the morning around the pool til tea time when they would go out and probably carry on. They were probably off the leash from the kids for the weekend but this hotel is really for couples or people who want a nice relaxing holiday. Not much to do for young children

the location is fantastic about a 5 min walk to the beach and all the Carihuela has to offer.... the hotel is superb, with a lovely garden and small pool every things is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly, breakfast is good but limited...bus stop just outside so you can travel up and down the Costa with ease... the room was a good size with a good sized balcony and bathroom....

there was nothing not to like about this Hotel….

Only had one breakfast there on the last day for convenience, the cooked food wasn't hot and the cold drinks were so sweet out of a machine that they were undrinkable, although the coffee was nice. As there was no customers around it would have been better to cook the food as people wanted it, not good sorry.

We’ve been before and we just find it a lovely friendly hotel. The garden is beautiful with a lovely small pool. Staff are so friendly and it’s just minutes from the beach. Very clean and relaxing.

The weather but that’s not your fault!

The only thing that spoilt this visit was another guest who interrupted when we sat in the bar and resulted in us not using the facilities.

A little bit away from the central area of Torremolinos!

Very clean. Very friendly. Big fridge & kettle in room! The gardens & pool areas are a lovely sheltered sun trap.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Breakfast not very warm. Walls very thin!

Great value for money, big room, with balconi even with sea view, very nice staff, I could even check in early and I got a sandwich late in the night, very helpful, I will return there.

The location was perfect just 2 blocks to the sea front and all the bars and restaurants. Really good wifi, hot and cold air condition, flat screen tv, fridge in the room, and a kettle for tea and coffee.

Very good sized rooms with good facilities. Family rooms available with an unusual treat of kettle in room. Fridges are available on request. Very friendly staff who really want you to enjoy your stay.

Very Nice Hotel with Very Good Location nearby the Carihuela Beach !

This family run hotel offers a very warm welcome. The rooms are basic but more than adequate for any length of stay. The owners Maria and Antonio were very kind and helpful. Sonja was very warm and friendly every day!

Some of the rooms look a little tired but the cleanliness is above average, and the foyer and pool area and gardens are well maintained. The owner was down every evening watering the plants!

Loved it all only down side was no fridge available but staff very kindly let us keep things in the hotel fridge.

Very Nice Hotel with Exellent location nearby Nice Carihuela Beach ! Located well between Torremolinos and Benalmadena. 3-5 minutes walking from the sea. 15-20 minutes walking from Benalmadena and 20-25 minutes from Torremolinos Centre. Bus stop is 30 meters in front of the Hotel. Very Nice and Very Clean yard with Nice Palm Trees and a lot of flowers. Swiming pool inside the Hotel yard with clean water. The room was very clean and the bed was enough comfortable. Very friendly and helpful people working there. My wife and Me did spent there four nights with Great Pleasure. I would recommend this Hotel to all types of Travellers looking "not very expensive" Hotel nearby the sealine.

I am more noise sensitive and the paper thin walls do not help. Hearing your neighbor heavy snoring isn't fun. I used ear plugs and it was ok. So, if you have trouble sleeping because of the noise...
