10.0 Excellent
Pros: We thought this place a real gem. It was spotlessly clean, had a very well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and lounge and a pleasant outdoor seating area in a lovely peaceful village. The owner is very friendly and helpful. His honey is excellent (we brought a jar home) There is an easy to follow yellow trail from outside the apartment and the villagers are also friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The place was beautiful and well equipped and comfortable. Beautifully restored home by a master craftsman.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Sitting on the terrace in the remote little village, located in Montesinho Park. Still very authentic. Good possibilities for walking and biking. There are 4 bedrooms and a fully equiped kitchen and lounge.
Cons: Not a minus point, but something to bear in mind: because of the remoteness of the Casa do Serro, possibilities for restaurants are limited. Breakfast is not included, so bring your own. I didn't but thanks to the friendliness of the owner who plundered his own fridge, I had a de luxe breakfast the next morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful host. He offered to get us food for breakfast from Brqgança. Nothing was too much for him. He was there when we arrived and got the fire going before we arrived. He offered us a drink (beer) and when we told him that our friend has a gluten sensitivity, he produced a bottle of wine for her.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fully equipped kitchen with basic supplies and washing machine, which was very helpful. In a beautiful national park and a convenient location on our way north to Leon. BBQ available as well on the porch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is stunning, clean, comfortable and has everything you can dream for. A lovely and sunny terrace with BBQ, a great indoor wooden fire to keep you warm on the sofa, fully equipped kitchen and spacious and comfortable rooms with ensuite.

Pros: Friendly and helpful owners. They even lit the wood fire for our arrival. Very well equipped kitchen. Firm bed. Spotlessly clean. Quaint village with chiming church bells.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing host, in a beautiful traditional house, all renovated with comfortable room, clean bathroom, kitchen, parking and wifi (important in this area with little phone service)! Best quality for money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent 2 nights here and our only regret was we wished we had longer. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a lovely log fire going to keep you warm in the winter which was a real bonus after enjoying walking in the surrounding countryside for the day. The host could not have done more for us and every little touch had been thought of, we would really highly recommend this apartment to anyone enjoying the countryside.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luis, our friendly, informative, and kind host, had the fire going in the house and was there to greet us when we arrived. He set us up with some coffee, tea, bread and honey for breakfast for the next day as we had not paid attention that the closest place for groceries is in Braganca. There is a place that serves meals, including breakfast, about 2.5 kms away. His honey (from chestnut trees) is amazing! The house is very nice and spacious, has a good kitchen, and our bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony provides a nice view and the Ornal walking path is right outside the Casa. The walk is beautiful and definitely worth doing.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location for walks and beautiful surroundings. Robert and his wife were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed their Portuguese cooking, great tips for local walks and friendly conversation. Amazing outdoor seating area under a vine for meals, and the pool is a very nice addition Hotel is great for couples. What surprised us also is that the hotel is very child-friendly. Next time we'll go back with our 5 year old as we thought he would have loved the place and the few other kids around to play with
Cons: Having porridge as an option for breakfast would have been great. Also it would be of great help for guest to be told about the time for dinner before arriving at the hotel (around 8 in summer) Other than that can't really fault much!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a typical Quinta on the edge of the City in open farmland. The breakfast was fantastic and was prepared by the owner. The cakes were home made. The fruit was the sweetest we have ever tasted. Chocolate could be given up in favour of the blackberries.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Move from a small double room to a larger twin room after 1st night, so we then had a private balcony, although the on-line description of the first room mentioned balcony. Delicious home made cakes and fresh fruit at breakfast as well as tasty local honey
Cons: Pool was some distance from guest accommodation where pool furniture was a bit rundown.
7.0 Good
Pros: Setting, breakfast, balcony
Cons: We booked on the basis that the property had a washing machine available in the kitchen. This was one of our filter requests since we were touring and wanted to freshen up our clothes. The.hosts son who greeted us had no idea regarding the washing machine and none was visable. A serious let down in our case

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great place to stay, right out in the country close to the border with Spain! Our welcome was wonderful, helpful and friendly, showing us how and where to park the car, the superb room and lovely terrace. As we'd had a long journey, and the property is quite remote, we'd asked for an evening meal. This was a great choice, with a lovely supper being served, all home-cooked with home-made wine. Similarly, the breakfast was excellent, more home-made tasty pastries.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything. - Comfy (big) bedroom and bathroom. - The breakfast was just..wow (the best breakfast we had over a 9-day trip around the North of Portugal). - Very good location to visit the Montesinho Natural Park and Bragança. - Hosts were very nice. - We had a great dinner at the property (ask in advance) which was of good value for money. They could easily open a restaurant if they wanted to.

Pros: This is a gorgeous period property, with decoration in keeping with the era, i.e. classical and antique. The rooms are all large, impeccably clean, and the staff are all extremely helpful. There were also a beautiful garden, a splendid terrace (ideal for reading quietly) and a large sitting room which is still cool on the hottest day and ideal if you want to read or work. Breakfast is served at the table, with a range of cheeses, ham, rolls, fruit, coffee or tea, orange juice. It is a very quiet property, ideal for couples who appreciate this.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful place to stay in. The Manor house is very well kept. Everything is clean and tidy. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is huge enough for me. The owner Luís and the staff all can speak English and are very friendly and helpful. Muito obrigada. Many thanks. I would without doubt recommend it to anyone who are planning to stay in Bragança.
Cons: The Wi-Fi reception in my room is a little weak but that's not a big problem for me.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast, very nice staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location. Everything was nice and clean.
Cons: I did the booking for 3 rooms for 3 people but I got the worst room on the ground floor right next to the entrance and the road just outside the window. Rather much noise from the road and the entrance. Luckily I'm a heavy sleeper so wasn't bothered. Noise from the floor upstairs was insane! You can hear every footstep and weight shift as the wooden floor squeak like you wouldn't believe. Not easy to find parking nearby in the narrow streets.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast.
Igual Habitat - Rabal - Building
6
9.5 Excellent (41 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house has been beautifully renovated with attention to details needed for accessibility and children. It is located in a charming little village with hiking and biking trails everywhere. The kitchen is well equipped and the breakfast served was typical european continental. The owner reached out to make sure we were comfortable, and the lady who let us in dropped by later to be sure all was well.
Cons: The beds and pillows have a covering on them, for health reasons I am assuming, but they were not comfortable to sleep on as it caused one to overheat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners Ana and Sergio are very impressed kind and make you feel like being at home. Super breakfast in the morning. Everything was delicious and Ana took very good care of our little son Flavio. The rooms are all well furnished and everything is brand new. Definitely one of the best place we stayed during our trip.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds. Good food.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food and very attentive staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The views from the bedroom, ours was 402, were tremendous. The castle directly in front and the hills and mountains on the left. An enormous double bed, almost too big, but very comfortable. We decided to be extravagant and dinned in the restaurant. Very good meal, attentive staff and although on the expensive side very celebratory, they also served good reasonably priced wine by the glass. The bar terrace looking out n the dastle also good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience, including dinner at the G Restaurant!! Antonio absolutely looks after the guests and customises the experience so it is truly memorable and a gastronomic (and wine) delight!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and views
Cons: Steeply priced for an average hotel in portugal
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Entering the room was quite an experience: large window with breath-taking view over the castle, bathed by the orange light of the sun setting! The room had a balcony, so we could take a drink while enjoying the beautiful view and letting the sun go down... The night continued with an excelent dinner in the restaurant of the hotel (which has one Michelin star). After tasting fantastic flavours, with local products, we went back to our room to appreciate the night view of the castle and the city lights. Then came the time to appreciate our extra-large and very comfortable bed for a good night sleep. The morning gave us another good experience: an excellent breakfast, with the best bread we had in the whole region of Trás-os-Montes. And the carrot cake was divine! Staff very kind and friendly. Large room and bathroom, all ultra-clean and smelling good. Excellent location, walking distance from the town, so we can leave the car in the hotel the whole time.
Cons: The regular coffee of the breakfast was not very good (too strong), but they served us Nespresso as alternative, so no complaints. All perfect!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for exploring the town and walking to the castle. Staff were very attentive even a bit OTT at times. We had a meal in the restaurant the first night. We were only looking for light meal and ordered a main course. We were surprised by the number of small extra tasters which arrived, all of which were delicious. The next day we were touring so had to eat out to avoid another gastronomic feast. The owner has obviously set out to create a high end experience and has achieved this easily. Very few will able to fault this as a one stop at the pousada.
Cons: The only evening meal available was in the restaurant. It would be nice to have the option of a light snack after being out touring all day.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, peaceful and very welcoming. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Restaurant was expensive- however, the food was fantastic and dining was a great experience. Very attentive service.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome , and as we are travelling with our dog, the staff were very welcoming to our dog too, changed our room to be nearer the garden, and very informative of the surrounding area .
Cons: The carpets, may need an update .

Pros: This b&b is a little gem in a wonderful setting. The hosts were so welcoming and could not do enough for us, including trying their homemade port and fresh fruit from the garden. As we were on a motorbike our hosts didn’t mind dropping us off in Bragança so we could enjoy an evening meal in the old town. In fact when we came back one night there was a pot of herbal tea awaiting us on the terrace, such thoughtful people. My goodness the breakfast was fantastic, much of it homemade and all of it from local produce. The choice was amazing and the breakfast room overlooks the terrace, making it a very leisurely and enjoyable experience. Cons: Nothing, really. Just make sure you drive slowly on the way down before you reach the house as the road is not in a good state.

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice hotel, helpful staff
Cons: Location was further away from the centre than we thought, we had a car so it wasn’t really an issue but we would have preferred a more central location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice restaurant with good food, buffet and excellent service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and the 3 new pools just made it better!
Cons: Nothing not to like. Great staff, friendly and helpful. We were recognised from last year!
7.0 Good
Pros: Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Lack of choice at dinner and the fact that you had to go out of the building to get to the bar.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfy.
Cons: Location was too far from town.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The bathroom. The shower base seems conceived to let all the water flow onto the bathroom floor, from where it freely flows into the room proper. One has to take a shower holding the soap or the shampoo in one hand, because there is no place to put them. A typical case of putting design above function.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, bedrooms were recent renovares, breakfast is good and it is cheap.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel gave excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food exceptional. Any niggles become irrelevant because of our overall satisfaction. I would stay here again!
Cons: Only little niggles - drinks fridge was locked, couldn't work out how to plug sink in order to shave, no toilet roll holder.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean . Lovely Staff .
Cons: Don't get your clothes cleaned there . Far to much money . In fact 4 t shirts pants socks . £30 . Madness .id hate to think how much if I'd had them ironed . But they did ask . Being on a bike not allot of room.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Renalto, the owner, was very hospitable. He picked me up from the bus station, orientated me of the main areas of the city and did everything to make me feel comfortable. He even upgraded me to a room far better than what I had booked. The place was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The place is a fair walk to the main sights. The wifi was not usable at times. I also wish that the owner or staff is present more often as a guesthouse often is.

Pros: Everything was excellent, clean, comfortable room, very good breakfast. There is a pool but unfortunately it was not open at the time (May).

Pros: Good brekkie. Okay, location if you have a car (I had one). Okay, hotel restaurant, but crabsticks in a classic seafood dish is just a big no. Good wine at good prices.

Hotel Classis - Bragança - Bedroom
20
8.1 Excellent (339 reviews)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean place. Located in the center of the city, with easy access to everything. The breakfast was simple, but good (though the coffee tastes weird). Overall, I'd definitely recommend.
Cons: Nobody on staff appeared to speak English, which is fine, I'm just pointing it out in case it's relevant for you. Also, if I understood correctly, the hotel info said that there was free parking on site, but there was only street parking, which you need to pay for during weekdays. Finally, the bed was a bit uncomfortable -- it was hard and springy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All good
Cons: Every thing ok
7.5 Good
Pros: friendly, wifi is fine, shower etc fine. Good location, adequate breakfast is included. Good price for central location.
Cons: Closes - you have to ring the doorbell to get in and at night I had to stand in the rain and wait till someone came. Also, very narrow entrance and stairs to get to the elevator, which should be mentioned when they say there is an elevator. Not always someone at the desk because they seem understaffed and multitasking.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Next to the bus station. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Poor breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable.
Cons: The cleaning staff was very noisy in the mornings. The noise from the kitchen can be heard on the second floor.
