Rooms are too smal, a bit dusty, old fashioned. But for this price is ok deal.
staffs are friendly
4 stars hotel without a TV........
Good, clean hotel. About 30 minutes by public transport from the historic centre of Verona.
THe hotel clearly charged rates relevant to the surrounding events, ie the verona stone show and the rate paid did not reflect what I feel I should have received
The hotel was not inviting and is in need of a make over, again felt it was exceptional over priced for the facilities on offer
The desk man was pretty helpful and did speak some English
the info on the website was not updated- there was no free internet and no television station in English
convienient for city centre, easy access from motorway.
on 10/5/2008 there was no electricity until 9pm; buses to the city centre only ran once an hour (due to weekend/holiday) and the service ceased at 8pm so i had to take a taxi back to the hotel twice (sat+sun)
The hotel restaurant served good food.
The staff that work at the reception were particularly rude and unhelpful, put simply, no customer relations skills.
Driving directions given on the website were not clear and we got lost. Reception staff was not very helpful.
Positive, helpful, attitude of staff. Dining/ eating generally was good.
Lifts are too small (and somewhat idiosyncratic) when with a couple of suitcases. Could the hotel consider setting up a minibus service into the old town/amphitheatre?
