Pros (+) Excellent concierge services--available into evening. Spaciousness of 2 bed room and bathroom with nice balcony. Helpful staff. Free valet parking (need to tip) that allowed in and out if desired. Beautiful pool area with outside patio for lounging, coffee/tea/water available. Verandah restaurant very pleasant, but expensive. The hotel is next to the queen's gate entrance, which allows free entran...

Opt for a Room in the Main Palace
Consider booking a room in the main palace rather than the pavilion for a more enchanting experience, despite the higher cost.
Consider Transportation Options
Due to the challenging availability of cabs, consider arranging transportation in advance, especially after a tiring day of exploring the palace.
Be Mindful of Restaurant Dress Code
If dining at La Veranda restaurant, be aware that a smart, casual dress code is not enforced, potentially affecting the dining atmosphere.
Check for Shuttle Service
Inquire about the availability of a car or shuttle service to and from the Versailles palace or local train station to ease transportation challenges.
Be Aware of Room Types
Note that the Pavillon wing may feel more suited to corporate events, while the main palace offers a more holiday-oriented ambiance.
Request for Room Preferences
If staying with a pet, be aware that dining options may be limited, and consider requesting a room with a pet-friendly dining arrangement in advance.
Verify Room Facilities
Check for the availability of USB sockets in the room, especially if you plan to charge multiple devices during your stay.
Plan for Spa Visits
Consider checking the status of the spa facilities in advance, as some guests have noted the need for refurbishment in this area.
Be Prepared for Check-in Delays
Anticipate potential delays during check-in, especially during peak times, and consider clarifying the hotel's two-building setup to avoid confusion.
Communicate Room Preferences
If specific room amenities are important, such as a shower cubicle, communicate these preferences clearly to ensure a comfortable stay.
