Friendly staff - nice area - good food
Spacious room with extra length double bed and good sized bathroom. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to please.
Fan in the bathroom stays on for a very long time. The room is on the street and near a youth club, and was very noisy at night (Saturday).
the Eastbank was homely, and clean. The food was plentiful and good, presentation could have been improved.
There appeared to be no heating, although it was only early Sept, we thought the heating should have been on, as it was chilly in the mornings and late at night.
Our room was exceptional. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, made us feel as if we were right at home and very welcome. It was a wonderful vacation and we would love to go back.
We liked the friendly atmosphere and the willingness of the staff to help
Excellent. The staff and owners were great. They put us in a room that cost more since they didn't have the rooms we booked due to renovations, yet charged us the lower price. They explained everything, and entertained us as well. The food was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. The best hotel we stayed at in Scotland out of four. It was like staying in a bed and breakfast, they were very personable and entertained us for hours with stories, and gave advice on where to go in the local area for site seeing. Probably one of the best hotel stays I've had in all of Europe. I would recommend this to anyone, and plan on passing on the hotel to my friends that are planning trips to Scotland.
