Matt and his mom and dad were outstanding hosts that made us feel so comfortable and right at home. The rooms are beautifully decorated very clean, cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. It was a quick ride or even walk to the town. There is a steep hill but it really isn’t that bad if you don’t mind walking. It beats parking in town. This was our birthday weekend and it was very memorable experience. We definitely recommend this adorable b&b and we will definitely stay here again for our next visit.

Pros: Historical and externally very beautiful. Right on the main street. Confortable beds.
Cons: Few places to sit outside. Room very dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The. Hotel staff, the Broadway grille staff and breakfast, and the 2nd floor porch in the evening were fantastic. The hotel is right downtown and an easy walk to everthing! Loved the place!
Cons: Construction at the front entrance, and one of the construction worker trucks scraped our car while they were pulling in and out of the loading spot and did not report it. Minor damage, but obvious paint scrape, so they knew they hit our car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the Inn was perfect. We parked our car and walked to everything we wanted to see. Very convenient The breakfast was excellent, great choices with excellent service. The Inn, being old didn't feel old, it was historic and had character. Those at the front desk were wonderful, as were the chocolate chip cookies, nice touch!! The room was very clean and didn't feel like a "hotel" room because it's not. It's very warm and comfortable with nice furnishings that made it feel more like a bedroom than just a room.
Cons: Perhaps some not so gourmet items on the dinner menu. Many people are simple and just want simple dishes. This is not criticism, just a suggestion.

Cons: The restaurant had poor service. Please wait to be seated takes on a new meaning at that place. Once your seated, they seem to forget you came in. 30 minutes and no waitress or waitor to be found. No water or anything was even offered during this time frame. 2 nites in a row. We walked out both times. Also, The shower had hair in it and the bathtub was dirty. The hotel hallway is tilted due to age and settling which was interesting.

Pros: Very comfortable room with friendly staff
Cons: Room had a step in the middle which eas hazardous especially in the middle of the night

Pros: The modern farm decor was gorgeous! Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The meatloaf I ordered for dinner was stellar!!
Cons: The lower level rooms at the main inn have a lot of foot traffic noise starting quite early (6 AM), not ideal for a late sleeper. If you naturally wake up early these rooms are great, if not, splurge for a different type of room.

Pros: The area and the property were beautiful. The pool area was quiet and relaxing. It was record heat,So unfortunately we didn’t do any trekking around the trails.

Pros: great breakfast a lot of options
Cons: bar wasn`t open until 5pm. Also had to go someplace for lunch because facility did not offer lunch only breakfast and dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary breakfast was amazing. It wasn't your usual cereal and muffins self serve like all the hotels do. It's an actual sit down order off of a real menu and the food is outstanding!!
Cons: Most beautiful location with friendly considerate staff. The site is just breathtaking. The rooms are just perfect. I went here instead of the usual hotel stay and couldn't be more happy that I decided to do that!! Already planning to go back in the fall!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very big breakfast but the place and surroundings are really amazing! perfect to relax
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The peaceful quiet atmosphere. The food was wonderful and when the rain stopped we were able to visit the Scottish cattle. They are so CUTE!
Cons: It was raining, cold and windy so we were unable to go out to wander around. There is NO place to sit and relax. Their suggestions were the pub, the dining room or our room. No comfortable seating to just lounge and hang out. We had never been to a B&B that doesn't offer this.

Pros: This is a very nice place to stay. The front desk girls were personable and welcoming. The one lady's name was the same as mine. She giggled and said she was waiting for me to arrive. What an ice breaker! We spoke briefly as to the pronunciation. Both ladies spoke of the eateries in town, small town at that and who had what and what was really good. Now that's what I like! I just didn't want to get back in my auto. When I checked out in the morning, the staff had changed but, the new ladies were just as wonderful! They even signed me up for the Choices Rewards....that's because I'm going to stay there again! Thank You Girls, All of YOU!
Cons: Hummm, I can't think of anything.

Cons: The room had a strong musty moldy smell. The carpet was old and dirty. The bathrooms could have been cleaner. The beds were not made over for us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was simple but tasty. Many little extras like cookies and candies always available in the lobby. Wonderful to have coffee at any time! I especially enjoyed pool and spa hours, 6 am to 12 am, being able to make full use of this important amenity. Beds were very comfortable. The in room refrigerator was quite large Front desk were pleasant and always accommodating
Cons: would have been nice to have a restaurant on the premises, or near by. But food delivery was available. A small store in the lobby would have been appreciated

Pros: This was a standard good experience for this class of property. Reliable, relatively comfortable, affordable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, good breakfast - good value
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and the room was very nice.
Cons: There were several dogs barking all night (until 2:30 am) both nights I stayed there. When contacted, the hotel brushed me off and did not resolve the issue.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was nice-plenty of choices. The room was comfortable enough. There is an indoor pool and fitness room available. Staff were helpful.
Cons: The place is a bit difficult to get in and out of as you can't just turn in to the property. You need to go past it and do a u-turn from the freeway and the sign for turn in is not as obvious as it could be. Getting out is the same problem. You can't go left, you have to go right and do a u-turn. There are no restaurants in the immediate area.
7.0 Good
Pros: They welcome you with cookies and coffee and tea all day. The rooms were okay. The smell was a bit musty and the air conditioner was very loud. The carpet throughout the hotel needs to be updated.

Pros: I did not eat breakfast. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean. It was completely full but very quiet. Very comfortable. It was convenient to everything. I would stay there again.
Cons: Not a thing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Not much....walking distance to several eating places.
Cons: That the door nearly fell off the hinges when I opened it...screws were loose on the hinge. Asked for someone to tighten screws...no maintenance on weekends. Knew about door but still rented room. Got another room. Doorknob on bathroom loose....used my Swiss Army Knife and tightened two screws. Mold on caulking around tub. I have photos of both....see attached. This was not the first time I had issues with the property. Two years ago the faucet aerator in the bathroom was defective and sprayed water all over when the faucet was turned on. Reported to front desk and was told it could not be fixed over the weekend because there are no maintenance personnel. Removed aerator and that stopped the splashing. Several months later stayed at same property and got the same room...Aerator was never fixed....took it off and switched it for a good one in the breakfast area. I will not be back to this property!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was fine, the room was fine, the breakfast was not good. Is there a reason no one makes real eggs anymore? Staff were very friendly though, oh - and the beds were clean and comfy.
Cons: Breakfast not great. The bathroom could use an update as well, but for one night it was just fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The air conditioner really only cooled the sleeping area and nothing else.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just off the highway with several restaurants near makes this a good place for a night on the road Our room was large with a small kitchenette. Nice breakfast and friendly staff topped off our stay.
Cons: Nada

Pros: The place was clean
Cons: When it was time to leave, between the secretary and the house keeping, there was a knock at my door less than ten minutes apart. That was overwhelming for me.

Pros: Super friendly staff hotel was very clean and its a nice peaceful area. loved sitting on the outdoor balcony and having my morning coffee

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. I took a shower fine, but when my wife took a shower, the water was dripping out of the shower head. When we went to the office, the person on duty, Jessica, worked really hard to get us what we needed, and let us shower in another room, even though the hotel was almost full.
Cons: Water didn't work. I took a shower fine, but when my wife took a shower, the water was dripping out of the shower head. When we went to the office, the person on duty, Jessica, worked really hard to get us what we needed, and let us shower in another room, even though the hotel was almost full.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: What the site rating said and what we saw were two different hotels Bad smells, old outdated hotel set right on highway This was the worst hotel I have ever seen open! I am 59 years old and stay at 40+ hotel rooms a year Old furniture, bedding, noises heater and this was in first Five minutes. I told the owner I could not stay in this room and asked for refund. He then showed me four more rooms to try and make me stay, but all rooms were similar. He finally did give refund Stayed down the street at Hampton inn for double the rate but slept well

Pros: Everything was excellent. Great location. Very clean room. Friendly staff. Very quiet. Close to anything we needed. We enjoyed our stay!!! Will definitely recommend!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've stayed here a few times now. Always a nice stay. Cheaper than other hotels/motels in the area, and I like supporting small business when I can.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: With deciding to stay in Jim Thorpe area at the last minute, there weren't many hotels available with rooms that were affordable. I found Mahoning Inn and rates fit our price range and had one room left. So very happy with the Inn..very clean and staff were great. SURPRISINGLY, BED WAS SUPER COMFORTABLE!!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very cooperative and indicated that the neighbors would be contacted about the episode. The staff supplied us with additional towels when we requested them. There was plenty of ice for our use in the front office.
Cons: The two men in the next room invited a female guest for a rather raucous encounter late in the evening. The noise and subsequent conversation made my wife uncomfortable and interrupted our night's rest.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Way too expensive for a bare minimum room, holiday weekend or not. Desperately needs upgrading. Outlets so loose plugs fell right out. They still use keys and not cards.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location and the value. I also liked that 15 minutes after we went to our room the phone rang and it was the front desk calling to see if everything was ok. It is outside Jim Thorpe but very convenient and more convenient to things in Lehighton. Nothing fancy here, just what we needed. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: They offer a basic breakfast such as cold cereal and oatmeal with bread/bagels and coffee. We just opted for local places (one next door) where we could get eggs.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very Clean and staff was very friendly....
Cons: No USB port in the room Forgot my charger had the cable but not the charger... My mistake...
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: This is the worst motel I have ever stayed at. I was in town for an event and when I came back to my room at 3:30 am it was infested with flying ants. They were all over the pillows and bed, on the walls, in the bathroom. It was horrifying. I went to the front desk and there was another couple saying they found a tick on their bed. We all had to pack up our belongings and move into other rooms at 4 in the morning. It was awful. When I got into the other room, there was a dead flying ant on the bed. I had nowhere else to go, so I was stuck at the motel for another night. When I asked for a refund the next day, the woman at the front desk said they couldn't give me a refund and tried to downplay the nightmare we experienced by saying she heard there were only 3 bugs in the room. There were over 20! She didn't apologize or express any sympathy for what we went through. Luckily I took photos, one of which I have attached to this review. She told my husband to text the photos to her so she could send them to the manager. She apologized to my husband via text an hour later, but didn't say anything about refunding our money. When we checked out, my husband asked if she spoke to the manager about getting a refund. She said they couldn't refund our money because we were moved to another room and they didn't charge us a fee for the upgrade. Charge us for an upgrade?! I never asked to be moved to a room with two beds. I wanted a room with one bed. I lost my temper at this point and asked why I would pay for an upgrade - my bed was covered in bugs! I told her this was horrible customer service and management. I said I was going to leave bad reviews with photos, to which she replied, "I don't care, it's not my business." I was shocked by how horribly we were treated.

Pros: It was clean. Nice view of the mountains
Cons: This is not in the town proper of Jim Thorpe, it’s on a country highway outside of town. You can’t walk to anywhere unless you want to walk on the highway. The rooms are small, and the bed is bouncy.

Pros: Staff was friendly and personable. Great location with easy access to sites. Excellent value.
Cons: Could use some cosmetic updates, but was fine overall and met my expectations.
6.3 Good
Pros: I liked that it was close proximity to the center of Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania
Cons: I didn't like that there was no coffee in the room or coffee in the restaurant next door that owns Hotel. I also did not like the staff unlocking the door in the morning without knocking on the door. That's a lack of courtesy. Lastly I did not like that I had to change rooms because the first room toilet did not work and they could not fix it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice view, reasonable price. Liked the restaurant attached to the hotel.
Cons: The mattresses were soft they rolled you in the middle of the bed.

Cons: Nothing. It is just what what we expected.

Pros: I was going to Penn Peak for a wine festival and it was only about 7 minutes away, and also close to downtown Jim Thorpe.
6.3 Good
Pros: Close to him thorpe
Cons: No staff to help and hard to find where to check in. Walked through a dark hallway to get to the check in desk but no one was there. Really odd. No ice machine or any directions in the room for check out. Left key at desk again no lights on or people to help us check out. Man who worked at restaurant helped us check in. Friendly but very odd situation.
