Pros. Lobby was spacious and beautiful. Room was big.
Cons. Hot water was not hot but just tepid, no disposable slippers, bathroom amenities was so so, carpets in the room was worn down, furniture and cabinets were rough. Neighbors were very loud, laughing, seems like they were playing a game, but did quiet down after dinner.
Pros. We were contemplating between Manor and The Forest Lodge. We decided to stay at The Forest Lodge to celebrate my aunt's birthday and everything was perfect. The room we got was very spacious. It has a dining table and mini kitchen. We opted to have dinner at the hotel instead of choosing Manor. The food was amazing and the staff went an extra mile by singing happy birthday with a cake we ordered. Overall, I could have not asked for more!
Cons. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we could literally hear the staff talking on the ground from our room. I had no choice but to close the window for us to have a good night rest. This may not be a huge problem for most people but am a light sleeper. A little bit of noise wakes me up. :(
