Great note. The food in the restaurant was fair. Nothing special.
Beautiful room at the new annex, gorgeous marble shower, exposed brick walls, amazingly comfortable bed! Dinner at the tavern was delicious and staff was wonderful. Excellent experience overall, will definitely be back
Staff was wonderful! Very friendly and eager to help!
Room door did not lock properly. Lincoln room, we did not report it. Room upholstered furniture and carpet didn’t feel clean. Bathroom floor not very clean. Traffic noise loud and disruptive all night long.
I love the history of the hotel and town, it’s was very beautiful and was like taking a walk through time. The staff was very friendly.
Our room was nice and to the time however it wasn’t very clean. The carpets were stained and needed swept, we found trash under the bed. Also it had not been dusted. The mantel and items on it had cobwebs and dust. We had the Lincoln suite next to the balcony and people were out there drinking till 4 am and was very loud. It kept us up all night. I believe the balcony should be shut down at a certain time or at least no drinking/partying after a certain time to respect the sleeping guest. If they wish to drink they could go to the bar downstairs. In the morning we wanted to sit on the balcony to have our breakfast and was told no that they don’t allow it, but it’s ok to drink and party there??
Complimentary breakfast (even though it was only mediocre) History of place and its uniqueness. Great location.
Matress was lumpy. The room price for same evening that I paid 137+ taxes was available for 99 if I had made reservations directly with hotel
