Property was close to restaurants and shops we could walk to. Breakfast was awesome, the staff served everyone inside because there was a storm going on at the time.

7.0 Good
Pros: The historical location was fun and the indoor porch light on each room was charming.

Cons: The bathroom in the Lincoln suite was very tiny....but understandable in keeping with the authenticity of the period building. Would have been nice to have an extra mirror outside of the bathroom. Make sure to ask for extra towels, toilet paper, etc before front desk closes. No staff after 11pm.

Ice was on the 2nd story of the building , steep stairs that I could climb . Biggest Complaint was cleaning lady left our door unlocked and we was right on street , At over $ 200, a night expected better .

Cons: There is no excuse for a malfunctioning door lock. Room #2. We had to go ask for help from the staff every time we wanted to go in except for one time. Ruined everything
6.0 Good
Pros: Loved the location, history and quaintness of the inn.
Cons: Walls were paper thin, could hear everything next door. Probably the thinnest walls I’ve ever experienced. No facial tissue in the room and extremely over priced

Pros: breakfast was just typical waffle, re-heated frozen egg patty and sausage

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was exceptionally friendly and accomadating.
Cons: Lack of electrical outlets in room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was particularly friendly. The rooms were neat and trim. A room is, ultimately, a room so long as it’s clean - this inn provided that clean and comfortable space at a very fair price. The inn has an honest feel to it, all around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable clean rooms. Quiet location but still close to town. Easy to get to and from wherever you want to go in Bourbon country. Owners are very attentive and helpful. Will stay here again when visiting the area.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit small, which isn't a problem because you usually don't spend too much time in there.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel was quiet and the bed was confortable.
5.0 Okay
Cons: No air conditioner on at arrival room was 90 degrees
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, excellent location, friendly staff
4.0 Okay
Pros: This motel is very close to the distilleries in Bardstown.
Cons: Our room smelled like someone had smoked with their wet dog inside in for months at a time. The shower looked like it had mold growing in it, the windows had not been cleaned on the interior and were stained with dust. When we booked booking.com listed the hotel as having WiFi everywhere however there is only WiFi in the lobby. When I asked the manager about it he told me that the rain was disrupting the WiFi. When I explained to the manager that weather would not effect an indoor WiFi signal he tried to me that his signal comes from the telephone pole across the street and when it shakes he can get a really bad signal, but that if I needed he had an excellent connection in the lobby. I don’t like hotel staff lying to me, just say that the hotel doesn’t actually have WiFi in all areas. I wouldn’t have been that iratated, the lying to cover up a false claim the hotel has made on booking.com really did not sit well with me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We always stay at this hotel while visiting family! We’ve never been disappointed!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is an older property, but it is well cared for and clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
Cons: I was on the ground floor and there was no deadbolt or chain on the door. That made me a little uncomfortable, especially since I was along. Some new pillows and towels would probably help guest feel more comfortable.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was clean, the people where nice who checked me in
Cons: The towels where hard and didn't soak up the water, the pillows where flat as a pancake. The ice tasted funny.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff and very clean.
Cons: It needs lots of updating, including mattresses and pillows.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a no-frills property. The staff was extremely nice, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had plentry of hot water. The motel is dated and A/C was not the most effective but overall a great deal for the price.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was good, room was clean
Cons: could have had a continental breakfast. could have opened there pool. Looked like there Pool has been closed for years, Snack area could have been more presentable. Just a pop machine and Ice machine with a washer and dryer. One Key for the Room. It is a old Motel that could use some updating
5.0 Okay
Pros: The lady (owner) had a a goody bag waiting for me with bottled water and treats in it and I thought that was very thoughtful. The room was very clean and I appreciated having a mini-fridge, microwave & coffee maker.
Cons: I had to jiggle the room door knob, turn the key side to side for an extended amount of time to get the lock to catch so the door would open. 2x's I had to have them open it for me. The toilet ran constantly. The shower sprayed over the curtain.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean. Inexpensive. Comfy bed. Very cute little motel with with updated interior.
Cons: I had no issues with this stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was nice with the state park across the road. The pool was also nice. I liked the floors.

Pros: It was clean and the price was good.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: It just didn’t feel at all classy—more like a a super 8.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Coffee in the room was stale. Coffee in the lobby for breakfast was very good. We really liked the the room. There is no carpet; it was Pergo laminate.! I have been in a lot of motel rooms, and carpets are why I wear socks in all motel rooms with carpets.

Cons: Most uncomfortable bed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It matched the star level. If you are simply looking for a place to hang out for a day, this is it.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Roaches, dirt/food on carpet, the smell was awful. This room was absolutely disgusting. I demanded a full refund and left.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: This place is not safe to be at my friend was attacked by another person staying there in a room that was occupied by people that is employed there for room and board and was attacked the machete to the neck so no I don't recommend anybody staying at this place and on top of that the place is filthy and disgusting and not worth the money that they charge for the room they have a breakfast but it only is for special occasions whatever do not and I repeat do not stay here nothing but Junkies and owned by foreigners trying to make money by charging high dollar rooms but not doing nothing about the premises the bare minimum the place should be condemned close down
4.0 Okay
Pros: It was close to the beach.
Cons: Room too small for the price. No place to hang wet clothes. No hangers
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Convenience to shops & restaurants was nice.
Cons: Absolutely everything about it, from check-in to check-out was horrible. I would never stay here again. We unfortunately were booked with an all day bourbon trail company the same weekend as the Kentucky Derby which made the town packed. This made it nearly impossible to find a hotel open the night our group needed rooms. The hotels we did find were very expensive (over $300 per night) or this one which was charging $109.00 per night. At this rate we would have thought it would be at least "ok". It was no where close to "ok". In hind sight we should have chosen the $300+ dollar rooms. Our room smelled horribly smoky, the linens were dirty, there were bugs in the room, there were light bulbs missing, holes in the walls, and many other things I could go on and on about! Oh yes, I should mention the bullfrogs in the swimming pool! Crazy, right? It's true. I did look under the mattress and found no signs of bedbugs. Our group had rented 3 rooms and all of us experienced the same type of problems. We were stuck with no where else to stay, although I even considered sleeping in our van which looking back I probably should have. This review seems harsh, but I am honest in saying I would never stay here again! Automatic calculation by this website rated this property a 3.3 from my answers. The only good things were the location (which was actually ok), and the staff was nice. But the actual hotel & rooms were positively unacceptable. I would not even give this place a 2. I was scared to close my eyes wondering what may crawl on me.
1.0 Poor
Pros: It had a bed.
Cons: This hotel was disgusting. Room was dirty, sheets had stains, mold on shower curtain. 1 towel per guest, afraid to walk without shoes on!
4.3 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly location was nice
Cons: Run was really run down kind of a dump room was dirty lamps not cleaned no vent in the room mirror was dirty curtain wasn’t right door had duck tape on it at the bottom just a real dump
4.3 Okay
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: All the furniture was either stained, broken or broken and stained. Spotted some cockroaches in my room too... no wifi either.
5.5 Okay
Pros: This place is very dated. We needed a place to sleep a few hours and it was sufficient, but that was about as far as I would go.
Cons: Very dated and not clean.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: It appeared run down no pool
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Place was really dirty and nasty
4.3 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Facility was very outdated and needed a better cleaning of the rooms. The pool was not in service and the pictures of the facility inside and out that are posted online are better in appearance online then in reality.
