Beijing Shangchao Hotel

The hotel has a nice vibe with a little garden area to sit and a bar. The room was nice with clean facilities, but rather small. The bathroom had a shower and toilet. The sink was located outside of the bathroom in a niche next to the door of the room.

Clean and beautiful hotel. Very quite and peaceful. The mattress is very comfortable and the shower very good. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Lovely hotel near the centre of Beijing, nice enclosed courtyard with a bar and draught beers. Courtyard also has a washer/dryer for clothes that’s free to use. Speaking Chinese is a bonus (obviously), but if you don’t speak Chinese they have translation services for tourists.

Low key place. Not a lot of frills but very good for the value, comfortable and quiet, off the main road.
