Pros:The hotel is very close to Rio Celeste so you can start your hike straight from the hotel and avoid the parking fee. The staff is very friendly and informative. The hotel is in a beautiful location with a great garden and green all around.
Cons:The rooms have tin roofs that carry sound very well. You can hear pretty much everything that comes out of the rooms beside you. If you are light sleeper this could be a problem. Also, the parrots begin to do their morning talk around 6:30 am that can get a bit loud. The beds are also not that comfortable in my opinion.

Pros:While this isn't the luxury all inclusive resort with cabana boys and fancy drinks it is fantastic Costa Rican get away. Hidden away, lush vegetation, small villas with bathroom. Home cooked family style meals. Adorable spa that was a surprise in its modern decor with in. They have private access to the Rio Celeste which allows you to swim in it! Family owned and run.
Cons:Road very rough getting to it, recommend SUV
