We took a taxi to the wrong hotel (another owned by the group) but we were given a room there even though it should have been more expensive. (sholsch hotel). This hotel was lovely , no complaints.

The hotel was somewhat dated, it was like staying in the 70's, no restaurant for food and not near a bar / restaurant. The staff however were fine, and there is a Spar next door that was giving away free beer!

Our room at first wasn't very nice but we asked to see another room and with no problem we found a good room with a view and a balcony. They let us stay late since we didn't have to be at our next stop until the evening. We spent the morning on the balcony, drinking coffee, reading and writing. What a delight.b Breakfast was unimaginative for Austria. A very few Austrian pastries would have been a good touch.
