good breakfast with relaxing music
some of the toilets/ showers were smaller than you can find in auto trailers.
Owners are kind people (while not very professional).
- The plastic bathroom experience was terrible (It was hardly a bathroom), and the room was to far to have a WI-FI system. Personnel was not professional, and the hotel as a whole was a building yard.
Excellent breakfast, much better than in some pricier hotels
Hotel was clean but old. Stairs were refurbished in carpet. I felt a little concerned about fire (although there were smoke detectors)
Breakfast buffet was brilliant. Staff helpful. Walking distance to town and Midi station.
Lift was only working some of the time. The day before they wanted to move me to another hotel as they were full but then at the last minute a room became available again..
We enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment. Friendly owner, nice environment and a typical German breakfast.
The locality was very centrel and good for visiting Brusells, a good budget hotel for money, good selections for breakfast with hot breads
Immediate area was rather deserted at night
It's a family run hotel and therefore offers a nice, different atmosphere. The breakfast room is designed in country style, lots of wood, probably partly self-designed.
maybe the bohemian style
there was no light in my bathroom and nobody could fix it. There was no mirror either.
Location - overlooking the flea market, and close to Gare du Midi and Porte de Hal metro.
It's worth mentioning that although the website indicates free wifi throughout the hotel this was not so when I was there, it was only available on the ground floor. The lift doesn't go to the fourth floor, and is not available when the reception is shut.I'm not complaining - it's a cheap hotel, for Brussels, and what's offered reflects that, so expectations need to be moderated.
It was cheap
It was rubbish
